Hello I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I have created an action converting multiple PDFs to txt files.However, some PDFs are locked.  I can unlock a pdf, but I has to be one by one manually, and it is not convenient for me (~over 2 000 pdfs).Is there a way to add a "step" in my already-existing action ? I am open to solutions/suggestions already existing in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or a programming one (i.e. Javascript since we can import scripts)Thank you in advance

I changed the colors under preferences to replace the documents colors. This seems to have affected the colors in the bookmarks pane. When I hover over the bookmarks, the white color turn into black. If I revert the colors in preferences and hover over the text in the bookmarks pane, the text changes into white. I find this behavior unexpected. Is this a bug? Is there a way to stop the behavior? I need the text to be white so I can read it easily.I am using the latest Acrobat Reader version in Windows 11.

Hello, I have a small issue regarding Adobe Fillable Forms and receiving responses.I have 4 Forms that need to be set up to receive responses on a network drive.2 of them worked, no issue whatsoever.The other 2 however are running into issues. I can distribute them no problem, however when testing I am unable to submit the form. Comes up with the message "Adobe Acrobat could not submit your data. Please see tracker for more information"The tracker does not contain any information regarding this.Some other info,All forms are copied off an original, so there's not huge differences between the two.Ensured I had read/write access to the Network location.Even tested on my desktop and ran into the same issue.Created a second network location - did not work.Any help will be fantastic.Thank you,Joshua

hello, a user has a problem opening/adding a sharepoint store place. i already cleared chrome, edge and firefox cache, not better. i reinstalled adobe reader and deleteing all folders from program files, programdata, user folder, not better.if i changed the user, it's ok. can you help me.  

I am seeing a WCAG error in PAC that I've never seen before, "Document language metadata is not ISO-compliant."  This is a simple 1-page PDF generated using Acrobat plug-in in Word. Acrobat version is 2023.008.20458.  Language in the file is set to English. There are no other language assignments on the Tags or Content. Is this a result of today's (1/5/24) update?  I can reproduce the error on another file by doing a Save As from Acrobat, but it also goes away once I Save As Optimized.  I cannot resolve this error.  The file is tagged correctly, has no images, form fields, attachments or other features. It's a very simple text only file that reads well using a screen reader, but this error persists.

 I have a set of pdf leaflets in Hindi, Nepali, and Thai. Acrobat's Accessibility Checker fails all of the PDFs on character encoding.The fonts are all OK, and the .ps/Distiller doesn't work. 

I have a license purchased in 2015 for Adobe Acrobat DC and has to purchase a new computer because of Win10 expiration.  I've tried to install the software and have attempted activation over and over, but each time I do, it closes the program and when relaunching, brings me back to the activation screen.  How do I fix this?  I spent a good chunk of money on this originally and don't want to purchase the cloud version.  It's not like I use it much anymore, but it is nice be to be able to create then lock the document as needed.

We are facing these issue in our office for sometimes but no solution found. Windows 10 or windows 11 in office environment - Once place a signature in "Fill&Sign" tools. It cannot be remove or replace. Unless user sign out and sign in back. Any one facing the same issue?When will adobe fix this issue?

We are in process of upgrade to windows 11. (office environment). Our existing users with windows 10 using adebe pro without problem. But when we replace their pc with windows 11, intermittenly will pop up error message as below: Does anyone face this issue too? any solution found? Thanks

The file can have up to 600 pages. The PDF shouldn’t be password protected or have any usage restrictions. The file shouldn’t be a PDF Portfolio. The maximum character limit for the text selection feature in AI Assistant is 8000 characters. The selected text must be on a single page and cannot span multiple pages.

When I try to print an Adobe Acrobat pdf, the printer preview shows blank pages, and the printer also prints blank pages.  This only started recently.  The printer printed Adobe pdfs just fine in the past.  This is a Brother MFC-J6955DW printer.

Hello Everyone,I have a total of 3 Drop Down Menus and I’m trying to figure out what Javascript to write, and where, to make the 3rd menu’s options dependent on BOTH of the selections of menus 1 and 2. My lists are more complicated, but if you can tell me what to write for the below example, I think I could figure out the rest. Drop Down Menu 1 = “Food”Always 3 choices: Liquid / Solid / Jello Drop Down Menu 2 = “Inner-Pkg”Always 3 choices: Carton / Bottle / Crate Drop Down Menu 3 = “Outer-Box”6 total options, but I only want to see options dependent upon the entries under BOTH “Food” and “Inner-Pkg”For exampleIf “Food” is “Liquid” and “Inner-Pkg” is “Carton”, there are only 2 options I want to see out of 6If “Food” is “Liquid” and “Inner-Pkg” is “Bottle”, there are only 4 options I want to see out of 6etc... Each different combination of BOTH menus 1 and 2 would yield different packaging options to choose from in Drop Down Menu 3. I'm runing latest Acrobat 24.1 (2024.005.20320)I'm trying to export a PDF to JPG and it's not working. Here's the stops I took...Open a PDFSelect the Convert tabChoose Image format JPEGClick Convert to JPEG buttonA window pops up asking for folder so I select the folderA browse window pops up asking for JPG filenameI click save and a progress bar pops up for 1/2 a second I check the folder and no JPG file was created. I tried differet PDF files, different folders, didn't make a difference. Exporting to PNG works fine. Anybody else experiencing this on Acrobat 24.1 (2024.005.20320)? I can't even downgrade to an older version because Acrobat doesn't havee an "Other versions" option in Creative Cloud like it does with other apps. This sucks because now I'm stuck with this bug and forced to wait weeks until Adobe fixes it. -Pete

I am unable to replace multiple pages in my PDF (just started today).  I am pretty savvy at doing this but for some reason today I can't do it.  I was replacing 9 pages and it only replaced the first page even though my page range was correct.  I tried multiple times and it would only replace the first page.  I ended up deleting and reinserting the pages.  HELP!  I use this feature all the time so I need to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

There is a big problem in Adobe Acrobat right now and that problem is related to Hindi language editing. Whenever we edit a sentence or word written in Hindi, its font pairing gets mismatched and goes backwards and then all the words get messed up... Test it and fix this problem because it is not able to manage the Hindi test properly, whereas Nitro Pro does it perfectly... Please fix Font Pairing.

Hello, I am currently unable to auto-tag any PDF documents. When I attempt to, the progress bar begins immediately at 20%, but them remains there indefinitely. I left the process running for over an hour on one attempt, without change. This is happening on documents that I have previously successfully auto-tagged as well (just to test it out), all different lengths.Regular, manual tagging is working, it is only the auto-tagging where I am finding the issue.My Adobe Acrobat Pro is currently up to date, at Version 2023.006.20380.Any ideas on what to do?

Last year in October, the Adobe agent promised 3 months free, discounted price and persuaded me to extend. I agreed, but still charged the same amount. No free 3 months. Just the contract was extended, which leads me to pay the cancellation fee now.   

Hi,Would like to ask what could be the issue of my form file. Lets start with various question having a radio button that has value once clicked. Then each question have another text field that has javascript that gets the value of what u have chose. Then, I have this another box that shows the summation of addition of specific question (in here I only used the built in function calculate of pdf forms). The last is my concern, since it has a javascript condition when the total score reached below 15 it should produce "X" value and when the total reached above 15 it should produce "Z" value. my concern was i need to click/enter the said text field so that the value "X" or "Z" should appear. Is there a way that it could automatically flowdown without clicking or entering? Thanks! 

When in Chrome, the PDF file name downloads as gibberish.  If I use Firefox, Brave or edge, the file name downloads as intended.  I thought it might have been a Chromium thing, but Brave runs on Chromium, as well.Any thoughts?I post to a site where my PDFs are downloaded daily... and since most of internet users have Chrome as their default browser, unless on MAC, they are experiencing this problem.i.e. https://www.cookcountycourt.org/division/county-division/adoption-casesPDFs can be found scattered around that page.

Hi - I work on contracts every day and I was always able to easily put initials for single/multiple signers. All I have to do is put initials on one page and then just click Repeat on All Pages.    Just an hour ago, it seems my Adobe Acrobat was updated because the interface changed when I had to send out another document. This time, there seems to be no option at all to copy or repeat any fields. I had to put in everything one by one.    I was wondering if there was any way I can bring my Adobe Acrobat back to that previous version.
