Simple question that has never been resolved by me:Is there a way to 'grab' a page and move it around, similat to the 'hand' tool in PS?(I find navigating pages in a PDF to be difficult using the scroll bars - it would be much easier (for me) to just take hold of the document to move it, like you can in PS.)
Vielen Dank.
I have an In design file with an Ai eps imported on the first and last pages. When exported to a final pdf one of these logos reproduces perfectly and the other copy drops out half the elements in the logo. If I duplicate the entire page with the offending logo to a new page in the same document the file reproduces perfectly. Why will this one copy of the logo not reproduce correctly?
Danke!
Does Acrobat DC have a facility for setting gutter margins when printing to pdf for (for e.g.) and Amazon KDP paperback book? I can see software called How to set gutter or margin while N-up PDF pages? [A-PDF.com] but surely there is something within Acrobat? (Gutter margins, BTW means LH and RH pages will have larger inside margins than on the other three edges.)
Hi. Does anyone out there know why a subscription shown "Paid" in Windows' Playstore for Adobe products cannot work after successful installation?
When I export a document as an InDesign Interactive PDF, the text fields show in blue, but the signature field is not there. How can I export the interactive document with the signature field available to click into and edit? This is how the fields look on InDesign:However this is the document when exported as an interactive doc:Our clients are older, so the aim is to make our documents as easy as possible to edit! Thanks in advance for any help. 🙂
Is there a users manual for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC? The online instructions don't match the version I'm using to create an accessible document (Verison 2022.001.20117) and it's super frustrating.
Every time I print multiple pages with HP M402n the pages (every other) are printed with garbled text and images. Almost like its printing backwards.
There is a button called "Sign document by typing or drawing a signature" on Adobe Acrobat Pro. Clicking on this usually lets you add your signature and your initials. This was working fine for me until I changed my laptop and moved to Windows 11. Clicking on this button now does absolutely nothing. I have tried a number of things already: - Signing in and Signing out on Adobe Acrobat Pro- Uninstalling and reinstalling (including running the cleaner) Adobe Acrobat Pro- Adding my details in Edit - Preferences - Identity- Trying the signature with Using Modern Interface checked and un-checked- Creating an identity within Digital ID & Trusted Certificates- Deleting the three "Acrobat" folders in the Windows user's appdata folder (C:\users\<username>\appdata) and then starting Adobe Acrobat Pro again- Restarting the laptop I am unsure what's gone wrong so suddenly, and what to do to fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated

Why does the acrobat reader create a prn file instead of printing my document?
I'm using Acrobat v25.1 and redacting a bunch of large files. The text in some of the documents is probably 9 or 10 point. The redaction area extends up into the previous line and below into the next line so that it touches and partially obscures the text. I can live with that, but in many cases, the text being encroached upon disappears. Is there a way to change the default redaction area size? Any suggestions? Redacting is pretty easy with search and redact, but I really need to be able to read the resulting file.
It appears that the sinc settings are permanently enabled as it is greyed out under preferences. Is there a way to turn this off?
I have already asked once to get help with creating a link between two text fields (two fields created with a text tool) so that when text reached the end of one text field it will simply go into another. The given explanation was not specific enough. If you know how to do this and are willing to help, would you PLEASE give me SPECIFIC instructions, step-by-step on how this is done. Please do not assume that I have worked with the Adobe Acrobat program all my life. Thanks :)
I am working with several InDesign files that up until recently were working fine. Back in February 2025, I was able to export these files to PDF, and my TOC and TOCI tags were exported as expected, but more recently (mid-March 2025) I have exported those same files, unchanged, and now the PDF's contain <Sect>. and <P> tags in place of the <TOC> and <TOCI> tags. Upon inspecting the tag properties though, I am finding that each <Sect> that should be a <TOC> is actually tagged as a Table of Contents, and each <P> that should be a <TOCI> is tagged as a Table of Content Item. Under Edit Tag for the Sect/TOC, I see the following:Is this a mapping issue of some sort?
I am having trouble adding one text box that is for one page and extends to another page. Does anyone know how to do this? I tried the duplicate across pages, but all it does is add another text box with the same properties. I am wanting it to be all in one text box for more than one page...
How do I edit the floating toolbar on the acrobat web version?
I am trying to conditionally format a field in my PDF to fill with a certain color based on the selected dropdown list's value. It seems i have gotten some traction, but the only color that works is red, and it does not change colors if I select a different value from my dropdown. I need help with my Javascript. Here is what I have so far:var v = this.getField("Dropdown4.5").value; if (v="Business Now") {event.target.fillColor = color.green;} if (v="Business Future") {event.target.fillColor = color.blue;} if (v="Daily To-Do's") {event.target.fillColor = color.red;} if (v="Marketing") {event.target.fillColor = color.orange;} if (v="Learning Plan") {event.target.fillColor = color.yellow;}
Here is an example of what Acrobat does: THE SAME in PDFExpert: If I highlight the texts, the Acrobat interface will have gaps; the PDFExpert version does not. If I OCR the page, there is no difference. It seems that Acrobat is reading the 'surface' differently (less helpuflly). Is that a known bug or flaw? Very irritating.
What is the best way to extract select data from a filled in pdf form? The export feature extracts everything but I need only 6 of 50 named fields.thanks
Hi, We've got a PDF that needs distribution to customers, and we'd like to include a CSV file as an attachment and also update one link in the PDF to open the attachment (by default, this link in the PDF is a web link to an external version of the CSV file that lives in the same directory as the PDF). As this PDF gets rebuilt often, I'd like to be able to make a one button action/command to attach the CSV file and then update the link to open the attached file instead of a web link to the external file. Part one I have managed to do easily enough. However, I can't work out how I could achieve the following with an Action/Command in Acrobat: 1. Find the link text in the PDF (my.csv)2. Automatically change the link action from "Open a web link: my.csv" toRun a Javascript&colon; /* Launch attached CSV file */this.exportDataObject({cName: "my.csv", nLaunch: 2}); So, that little bit of JavaScript above does exactly what I want it to do, I just want to be ab
I have a PDF that has 2 conditional text box with 3 outputs for each text box. There are no issues when the file is in the PDF format. However when I try and create a web form with the PDF the text boxes are just blank. Is there a solution where I can keep this conditional logic in a web form format?
I see that much changed after the most recent update of Adobe Acrobat Pro. The change I wish to undo is this new default to comments appearing to the right of the right margin instead of inside it. How do I make my comments appear inside the right margin as I used to be able to do, rather than outside the margin, which is almost impossible to see when I am working on my laptop? (I can see my own comments only if I shrink the entirety of the display to a smaller, less readable size.)
