Hello! Is it possible to hide a specific page in a pdf document based on the action of a checkbox? When the checkbox is enacted, I would like the page to appear. When not enacted, I would like the page to be hidden. Thank you!  

I have a MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina Version 10.15.6 currently. Whenever I try to open Adobe Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, the application won't even open. I get an error message saying Acrobat quit unexpectedly. I called Adobe customer support twice and did a screen share where the applications were installed and uninstalled, but nothing will work. I was advised to come to this forum for help.

Hi All, i might be late to the party, but has the ability to use the Drawing Tool in the Comments section been removed? We can see the drawing  Draw option show,  but this seems to have a lot less functionality and capability. e.g. the draw option does not work well when trying to write on the PDF to enter a comment. Any ideasThanksSteve

Hi, I thought my laptop had a virus for the first time....after getting Adobe Pro..My 0's change on every doc I am filling out to 1) there is no 0 when using Adobe now. It's a pain. Plus nothing stays put as far as font or text size.But my computer is just fine when not using the app.Any  tips? Is there a way to really reach Adobe tech support?

I recently combined to documents into a portfolio, which was fine. Now I want to combine two other documents into one document (I do this all the time) and the program defaults to a portfolio, despite what I select on the menu. How do I get it back to just combining the documents?

CommunityI recently reformated my harddrive and reinstalled Windows 11 Pro. After reinstalling Adobe Acrobat 2020 the Acrobat Licensing Applicaitona keeps asking me to Sign in. It accepts my log it. But then asks again. I've tried uninstallin adobe and even using the AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021. Any suggestions?Jeff

Dear Adobe Community,I made a form with calculations under text field properties.  (They are all basic algebra )1 is a custom calculation script, and the other 2 are simplified field notations (basic addition)The calculation scripts are simply not always saving.  If I make a new PDF off the old one - and save it w/a new name - while most field properties remain - the calculation scripts do not always save.   Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.Even more bizzare - I have the PDF open now.  The calculations are there.   I close it (w/o saving), reopen it - and 1 of the calculatins is gone.  Then i do the same thing, this time A DIFFERENT calculations is gone.  Really pulling my hair out.Please help...thank you!Here are the calculations:(function () {        // Get the values of the text fields, as numbers      var v1 = +getField("FillText13").value;      var v2 = +getField("Fi

When trying to sign a PDF through Acrobat Pro, I receive the follow 2 errors blocking the signature to go through - 'The FieldMDP expression for this signature is invalid' followed by 'Creation of this signature could not be completed - Unknown error: Support Information: CSigField-1022' 

Hey, I would like to create a form where people can insert the date in a textfield or datefield as DDMMYYYY (without any dots or slashes). It should be printed as DD.MM.YYYY. I habe absolutely no idea how i could manage this. Thanks for your help! Serion

I have several pdf forms for which I have saved the document after choosing my preferred initial view settings, but for some of them it seems that Acrobat completely ignores my settings. As an example, for one pdf I have my settings at Page only, single page continuous, fit width, but the pdf opens to 34.6% maginification, resizes the window to fit the document, and continues to open at that magnification if I change the intial view settings to other options, save and re-open the pdf. Is there a reason this is happening, and is there a means to make Acrobat follow my document settings?

Hi,found out that editing a pdf in Acrobat DC breaks up accessibility and attached tags are lost. Makes me very unhappy. Is there a workaround? When will this bug be fixed? (Going back to InDesign, do the changes creates a lot of redoing tagging added form fields.Lengthy and tedious work... My Acrobat Pro is missing the predefinded profiles. While trying to find them, I created the Custom Profiles which I don't want. How do get the predefined profiles? It's handy for converting pdfs to CMYK or grayscale.

Documents with PDF/A Standard show as Blanc. There is max a headline shown, however the entire page is empty. How can this be solved?

I need to brand exhibits for court. I need to use the file name which is the exhibit number (for example 1234.pdf) and then add a four digit page number after on the branded page of the document and some text. TX1234-0001 for page 1, TX1234-0002 for page 2, etc. etc. When I get to the next exhibit TX1235 - I need to start the page numbering at 1 again. TX1235-0001, TX1235-0002, TX1235-0003, etc. etc. Can I do this in Acrobat? I need to use the file name, add a prefix and a suffix. TX (prefix) (filename) and suffix -0001

Aufgrund eines technischen Problems musste mein LapTop neu installiert werden und ich musste auch Adobe Acrobat Pro wieder installieren. Leider ist es nun so, dass mir die alte Ansicht (trotz neuester Version!) angezeigt wird. Ich habe weder ein Hamburger-Menü, noch die Tools auf der linken Seite. Alles sieht ganz komisch aus. Da das Design von Acrobat Pro auch hier auf der Website so aussieht, wie die Version, die ich kenne. Kann mir da irgendjemand helfen? Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie ich das Problem noch beheben kann.   Lieben Dank schonmal! 🙂

I have converted an existing PDF document to allow for onboarding employees to be able to fill and return.  When I view the document it is fine. When I split it to separate the document to the individual files, the text overlaps.  We use a specific font that is not normally used. I have seen other posts where the word doc needs to have the Font embedded, but what if the document is already PDF?  It only overlaps when I separate the individual documents to add my signature.  I have attached a snip of the issue.

I added several comments and saw another member of my team do the same thing. The Adobe Chatbot also sent me notifications that comments had been addedI re-opened the PDF through Teams just now and I don't see any comments on there (mine or anyone else's). I've checked and can confirm that I'm signed in.Is there something I'm doing incorrectly?Are those comments potentially gone?Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps, je rencontre des problèmes avec les unités des règles sur Acrobat Pro.j'ai bien vérifié que les unités étaient en centimètres en cliquant en haut à gauche de la règle, mais les mesures sont complètement fausses. le fichier mesure 140 X 297 mm (c'est bien le format qui s'affiche quand je passe ma souris en bas à gauche de mon document) (voir image ci-jointe), mais sur les règles, ces mesures sont totalement fausses. Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider à récupérer des mesures correctes ?Merci d'avance.Cordialement 

When i click on the title bar of Adobe to drag it to a 2nd or 3rd monitor, it totally minimizes and all I get is this: It just started happening a couple of days ago, but is very frustrating having to maximize it every time I need to move it to a different screen (multiple, multiple times per day).  Any ideas on how to fix?  Restarting did not help.  Thanks!

Can someone walk me through how to set up Acrobat so that I am alwasy in the editing mode and that a sidebat alwasy has the thumbnails in it? Thanks Henry

How can I resolve this. my internet connection is secure. AI previously worked on these files and nothing has changed. for past 1 hour same message 'somethign went wrong'. i hva e restarted laptop. no resolution. i havent logged out of adobe as i dont remember my password so dotn want to risk. anything I can do to restor acrobat AI? or is it overwhelmed maybe too many people seeking help? 

Hi Adobe Community, I am using Adobe Acrobat on Windows 10 Home.Preferences -> General "Open PDFs automatically in Reader when they are downloaded in Chrome browser" is un-ticked.Regardless, Adobe Acrobat opens all files downloaded by Chrome from Gmail. Any advice would be much appreciated.
