Unable to delete a signature in the drop down so that I can add a new one. The delete box is grayed out and won't respond.     [Title Edited By Moderator]

Ever since the Sequoia OS update, there are consistently missing artifacts in my PDFs that I have converted from .key files when viewing in Adobe Acrobat. Mainly, certain shapes with opacity and the percentage labels on pie charts. When the file is viewed in another PDF viewer (such as preview) the artifiacts are there.This is an across the board issue with all members of my team, and all of our applications are up to date.   

why are my comments rotated 90 degrees when i import them from another document

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a Windows 10 Laptop with a UK keyboard.When typing text to fill in a form, pressing many of the letter keys on my keyboard doesn't have any effect. Below is a screenshot of me trying to type all 26 letters of the alphabet in alphabetical order. As you can see, only 1/2 those letters appear My keyboard is working fine, and this problem only surfaces when using the Reader program on the desktop. There is a browser version of the program - i can get all letters to appear there.Anyone else knows how to solve this? I currently have to type each field into MS Word, then copy and paste to fill in the form. It's rather annoying.Thanks all

When I use the line tool to draw a line. I click on the initial point and then click the intended end point to complete the line. Too many times when I click on the initial point and then click on the desired end point, I cannot complete the line. The line follows my cursor but won’t complete creating the line. The only way to get out the malfunctioning line tool (or this file) is to force quit (task manager) to close the file (I cannot do anything else to the file).It happens randomly. VERY FRUSTRATING!Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help!

I'm looking for recommendations on Punjabi compatible fonts: I'm working on foreign language InDesign documents that must become accessible PDFs.  The translator company applied Noto Sans Gurmukhi to the Punjabi ID file. This typeface is compatible with several other Asian languages. However, for Punjabi, it presents character encoding issues.I've applied Punjabi lang to each paragraph style and then set the Acrobat lang to pa. This results in the charcter encoding issue.I've also applied "no language" to the each paragraph stytle and the sent the Acrobat lang to pa. This results in the character encoding issue.

The function used to work fine previously, but now, after I click ‘Edit Text,’ none of the hyperlinks in the PDF assets are working. This issue persists even when saving HTML to PDF—all links are missing. I’ve checked the preferences under General and confirmed that ‘Create links from URLs’ is enabled. I’m not sure what’s causing this problem. Can anyone help? I've even reinstalled the apps twice.

How to change a language in Adobe Acrobat XI?

See attached imagesI cannot compress a file as it is saying that I do not have sufficient permissions. Other files are fine. When I go into the properties of the file and choose the "Security" tab, it is already on "No Security" for the Security Method . 

I have a pdf that has a section of text and a section of scanned pdf list of hand written inventory items that appears to be image format. I thought Acrobat Reader Pro would convert the list of inventory items using OCR but I cannot get it to do that. All I get is a list of the scanned items. I need to translate this to English from French. The pdf document translates in google translate but not the handwitten part. Google translate shows and error message saying the document format is wrong so that won't even process the pdf. I can get the image section page by page. But it doesn't show in text format, only the image. Is there a way to use Adobe Reader Pro to separate the image section into a pdf text format?

En pièce jointe la fenêtre que Acrobat m'ouvre quand il n'arrive pas à ouvrir mon PDF. J'ai cherché partout dans les aides pour trouver une solution et rien.  Quelqu'un aurait-il la réponse ? How do I get it to print double sided, not in booklet form but in filing form, i.e. page 1 (flip) page 2, page 3 (flip) page 4 ?What it does is: page 2 (flip) page 3, page 1 (flip) page 4

I have a large number of documents that appear to have been scanned on grayscale. The background is white, but the text is gray and difficult to read. Is there an easy way to increase the contrast of the document in pdf form? So far, I have been able to print the document, and using the printer settings I can print high contrast, and darken the image, but then I have to re-scan it. This is a waste of paper and time. I can also save it as a tiff, but it splits into multiple pages, then I have to fix each page and recombine into a pdf. very time consuming!

I have a form i need to send that will need multiple signatures. I need to send to primary person who has made the reservation. It is up to the primary to collect thr signatures of everyone in their party. And then submit.I have not been able to prepare the form to allow that without having each person's email. Is there an alternative way to do this?

I have a file that contains text in Devanagari and Tamil, I want to make corrections to the text, and when I try to run an OCR and trying to use RECOGNIZE text option, there are only few languages, My PDF when converted to Word as .docx I see only gobbled text I have necessary fonts installed in My Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, Need help 

Hi everybody,  I can't open Adobe Reader since this morning, after Windows update 24H2. I have disinstalled Adobe and reinstalled, I have set the compatibility to Windows 8, I have forced stop of Adobe and restarted. The message is still "a running instance of Acrobat  has caused an error".Adobe doesn't work .How can I solve my problem?Thanking you in advanceLaura Muscedra

Hello,I have to scan a book by using Acrobat Pro.My goal is to scan this book in PDF and convert the PDF to Word in order to work on the text of the book.What is the best workflow in order to have a perfect OCR (no error in the text of the exported Word file) ?

Acrobat Pro 24.005.20414 under windows 7 pro The ADD TEXT tool under EDIT PDF menu has gone bonkers. Although it says it is using Encoding: identity-H if I add text using a different font and then examine DOCUMENT PROPERTIES/FONTS, in fact it seems to be using a weird arabic encoding. Letters come out ok when typed into a text box, but digits appear as arabic characters. Also, the text wraps back to the beginning when less than half way across the text box. Also, I cannot access the properties of the text box by right clicking any more. In the attached screen clip, I typed ABC123456789My default font was set to Calibri, but, as soon as I started typing, it reverted to Arial in the properties at right. Oh Adobe, what have you done with that recent update?

I have installed the fonts for my company under Windows/Fonts:But that fonts are not appering under Fonts in the Settings for "Convert To PDF":I need that Adobe uses those fonts when converting but its not working for the Version Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, on version XI works perfectelly. 

my adobe acrobat dc does not trigger read aloud until the end of the document, it only reads one page. How to solve the problem?Thank you very much

I keep receiving a message stating that my free trial is expired and I need to purchase AcrobatPro in order to edit PDFs.  I purchased the upgrade and Adobe doesn't recognize the purchase.

Does anyone know what is the cheapest plan I can have that will enable me to password protect documents for viewing and editing? I don't need any other feature of Adobe except this one but I am currently paying the most expensive plan and can't see online if there is a cheaper option?

New user and not terribly computer literate. I have a pdf doc that I need to crop and I cannot get it to do so. I have a 3 page doc I want to crop to one page. I click the edit button, and the crop button and then I drag the cross-hairs across the portion I want to save, then I double click on the outlined part and the crop window shows up. I click ok, and the document is  still 3 pages and nothing has been cropped. I've been screwing with for an hour and cannot figure out how to do this. 

I saved a PDF file in Acrobat Pro (ver 2024.001.20643) to reduce file size and get a message that says it will not reduce the size of attachment.  I have no reason to believe it should have an attachment (it is a PDF created by saving a PowerPoint file to PDF). However, I cannot determine how to find an attachment in the PDF file, and instructions at adobe.com and in Acrobat are not helping me.
