My Adobe apps are crashing on startup. I have tried everything the AI assistant told me to, like removing all apps, removing credentials, signing out, restarting, etc., but it is not working. It crashes on startup, and I cannot sign in to the app, although I am signed in to the Creative Cloud. I click sign in repeatedly, but it doesn't let me and it closes the app. I have a video recording of the issue. Can you please help me?

I just recieved a new Surface Laptop 7th edition running windows 11 and old outlook.   When I hit share button it will not open a window in outlook to send as an attachment or a link.   This is a serious hinderance of my productivity.     I have gone through all of the obvious fixes within preferences>email> ... etc.   No joy.   Unable to get anywhere with Adobe support. 

I am getting a new computer. Do I have to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Pro on the old computer before I install it on my new computer. Also, I downloaded the software, I do not have an install disk. How do I do this?

I thought I could do OCR with Adobe Acrobat Standard so I bought the product.But then it fails all the time with OCR into Japanese and Chinese. With the message of "unknown error" (translated into English from my GUI) Now after countless time of trying -- uninstall and reinstall. It won't open up, so I can't read the version info.I'm using Windows 10 with Adobe Acrobat Standard installed through Creative Cloud, so I guess it's the latest version. I also try adjusting my computer to using Unicode instead of default CP950. Won't work either.

I've spent hours editing every individual form field in my pdf creating the appropriate calculations for each one (since there appears to be easy way to do this unless I have a degree in coding). I've come to find that upon checking those fields again, at some point, the app deleted every single caluclation I created and has rechecked the box "Value is not calculated".... I read that maybe it might've happened because I exited the form view? I was constantly saving the entire time I was working. Why would this be a feature, to remove all of the data/work someone has put in? Is there anyone working on this issue?

I cannot log into my personal account in the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat, nor can I import files from the cloud. When I click the login button, there is no feedback. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it repeatedly, but the problem still cannot be solved. I hope to seek help.

Not sure if this is possible - I need to do more than just clone an object.  I'd like to put an image/object into a pdf and make it so the user can click on the object and automatically have a clone, then drag the clone anywhere on the page.  The original object would stay where I placed it but an indefinite numbers of copies can be created from the original.  This is possible on the "whiteboard" programs, is this possible in any of the adobe programs? 

I have Acrobat Professional on my laptop, but I cannot use the same on my android tablet even though I'm signed in to my account on my tablet - Adboe requires me to buy another "professional" service for my tablet - how can I enable the edit function on my android tablet?

Having issues printing from Acrobat Pro on my MacBook. Printer is a Canon Imageclass D570 if that matters. I need to print out legal pleadings with numbered paragraphs. In one document everything looks good on the screen but coming out of the printer it has sporadic blank spots, apparently sort of triangular in shape, like if there was some sort of physical obstruction in the printer itself or smudge on the rollers, for example. This does not happen on the same place on every page, and not at all on some pages. But printing out the same document a second time all the same blank spots are in all the same places. In another document, again everything looks good on screen, but coming out of the printer the paragraph numbers are all missing. But I can print the same documents directly from the web browser from an online source and it comes out properly. Thoughts? Thanks. 

Hi there I've purchased Pro because I undertood that it might be able to help preserve the vividity of an RGB pdf when I convert it to CMYK The original file was created in Canva but when I export it there to a CMYK pdf for print it goes really dull (the original image has bright striking blues). So I've tried exporting it as an RGB pdf (which looks perfect), then importing that  to Pro and then using Print Production (potentially incorrectly ) to output it again to a CMYK pdf. But it makes no difference ;-( I'm hoping someone in the community might be able to suggest a solution. It's for a book cover and the current colour output colour is hugely disappointing Help! Many thank s

Hoping someone can help with what I'm sure is a very basic function (probably hundreds of threads already written, just can't find them). So I have a [text field] that calculates a 10% GST value [GST Value] based on a value in a preceding text box [Total Value]. This works fine, and the script for this looks like this: event.value = Number(this.getField("Total Value").valueAsString) / 11; However, I only want this calculation to run (show) if a check box is ticked [GST Check Box]. How do I go about this? 

Is there a menu item or keyboard command to close the left side panel, as here?:  It is possible to open and close (reveal/hide) the bookmarks pane. What about the tools pane? Tx

I'm trying to crop a scanned document but the crop feature gives me an error in Acrobat. Can I get comments on why this isn't working. I've posted screenshots below:  

I have been an Adobe CC Full Suite user for 5 years, and while that may not appear like a long time, it is certainly something. For the first time ever, yesterday, I started to have macOS (14.5) send me messages about my system having run out of application memory, suggesting that I quit something. Trying to keep calm, I launched Activity Monitor, which showed several RED spikes in memory pressure, and a certain Adobe Acrobat (up-to-date as of the date of this post) using 3.86 GB of memory with no document open! I quit Acrobat and things resumed working normally. Later in the day, and again today, I launched Illustrator and the message came back. Looking at the list in the Memory tab of Activity Monitor, I noticed how many processes Adobe CC has in there, contributing to an absurd amount of memory used just for... nothing that enhanced the user's experience.Now for the best part: my machine is an M3 Max MacBook Pro with 2 TB SSD and 36 GB of memory! I'm working with the "new" Acrobat for the first time and can't figure out how to add/edit text in documents without changing the original content.  I have to fill out lien waiver and pay application forms provided to me and I simply need to add text (or edit, if I "saved as" to do the next month's document) typewriter style, just filling in the blanks without changing anything else (although these are not fillable forms; sometimes scans, sometimes just a plain PDF converted from whatever program our customers used to create the doc).  But the text I add is moving and changing the formatting and pushing things in the original form out of place.  I was able to do this fine with the older Acrobat versions but not the new.

Scenario: I'm building a form to track production over the week.  A series of text fields for different widgets, with odd numbers (Widget A = Text1, WidgetB = Text3, Widget C = Text5).  I have a series of buttons to increment the text field up and down, numbered sequentially (Button1, Button2, Button3, Button4, Button5, Button6).  In the end i'm going to have over 125 text fields, and 250 buttons.  I wrote a for loop that with the click of the "goButton" will write the script to all of those buttons for me.  Right now I only have 3 text fields and 6 buttons until proof of concept, before I make this gigantic pdf. Problem: The button and the script work perfectly as intended, however they do not persist after a save and a close.  I would have to click the "goButton" every time I open it to insert the script into the buttons again.  My first instinct is that the individual buttons only have a function in their javascript and not the actual script.&

I have a very big document that contains portions of repeated text on different pages. If I redact two lines on Page 2, I want Adobe to find any other sections of the document where those two lines also appear and mark them for redaction too. Is this possible? There are too many redactions to use the import function. I'd appreciate any other ideas. Thankyou

I have a pdf document that I have opened in acrobat. The pdf document is four individual pages on one download. I know that by clicking on "all tools" I have the menue of options. If I click on "organize pages" I then have a page with all four pages seperate on the screen. If one clicks on "spit into multiple files" the pages are seperated. Then nothing. How do I get each individual page on my laptop so I am able to put them in a message. I need to upload them seperately, not as one item. What do I do? Thank you

When I am commenting a PDF in Acrobat Pro, why can I not select text with the Strikethrough Text Comment Tool if the text is also a hyperlink? When I attempt to use the comment tool, the first click activates the hyperlink and takes me somewhere else. What is the work-around?

I scanned images and created a PDF, they are all slightly different sizes. How do I force Acrobat to use a standard page background, such as 8.5x11 ofr every page and just have the one image appear on the page? ThanksHenry

I have a Text field named "MyField". I'd like to add a Custom Calculation Script to it. Every time I select the edit, enter the code, and then click OK, it does not save the code and then reselects the default "Value is not calculated" option. It will even happen in fields that I have already saved previously and that did once work. When returning to them sometimes, I will see the selection change from "Customer Calculation Script" to "Value is not calculated" as soon as I activate that Calculate tab. Does anyone have any idea what causes this and/or how to avoid/correct it. I have tried searching all over Google and can't seem to find anyone else that has brought up this issue.

Hi,I have a PDF document that I've created which has a large number of text and check boxes on what will start out as a single page.My ultimate aim is to be able to click a button and have the same page spawned, but with all the text boxes cleared of any text, and all the checkboxes unclicked. Is there a way to create an action button for an object that allows the user to click and drag the object as many times as they like? For example, if I put in an image of an apple, can I have the user click on it and it will make other apples that the user can then put anywhere on the doc, does that make sense? Thanks!
