I am making an invoice, and to make it very easy to edit when I come back to it, I set up the text boxes on a column, with multiple new lines in between them, however when I save the PDF it splits the single text boxes into multiple text boxes, making it more difficult to edit them.Before saving:After Saving:Is there some setting I can change to stop this from happening? I want the PDFs to be saved in the way that they were created.

HiAfter Ive inserted a line of text into a document, very often , when I save it, it turns the sentence Ive just typed into separate text boxes instead of keeping it as one long sentence contained ina single text box ( I hope you can understand what I am trying to say).This then makes it very difficult when editing the document if I want to move the sentence to a slightly different position , because instead of clicking on just 1 box, I might have to click on maybe 15 or so separate boxes to move the text., which is quite annoying and time consuming.I'm probably doing something wrong, but don't know how to stop the single text box from splitting up into multiple text boxes.Can anyone help with this please.Also, if I am trying to make up a "shape" using adobe that I need to insert into my ukulele song sheets,  I cant seem to group the shape I am making up , like I can do in power point.A friend told me to do the following:-hold down controlleft click on all of the objects in the sh

The standard way to change the page size while maintaining the content (e.g., shrink to fit) is by printing to PDF using the new page size. But Apple has eliminated the Acrobat PDF printer. I could crop. But this eliminates content.

Hello, hoping someone can help me. I have googled to try and find the answer like I would usually but have had no luck!  I've been asked to create some templates for policy and procedural documents, and to get the best looking documents I would ideally want to create these in Indesign. However, we're talking a lot of text changes - I would essentually be giving someone the 'tools' (where the headers go, style etc) and the colleague in question would be wanting to drop text in via Adobe Acrobat.  Is this even possible? I've always had to use Word previously for these kinds of documents and I hate designing in Word, it's horrible to format things and just doesn't look as good. 

I'm working on a fillable PDF and apparently need custom calculation(s).  Thanks in advance for your advice.  On the sample form provided, business cards can be ordered for one to four people, with quantity of 500 or 1000. The one-box and multiple-box prices are unique to the order quantities. When more than one set of 500 cards is ordered, the price is reduced for ALL sets of 500 cards (not just the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th). Same process when ordering a set of 1000 cards. For either order quantity, the cost reduction is $6 per box.  The "Line Total" field needs to show the combined, adjusted cost of cards. On the lower half of the attached order form there are eight spots for ordering ID badges.  A quantity of one badge is assumed.  Without a form field for entering a quantity in each of the eight spots, can the "Name" field be given a value of one when a name is entered?  

Attempting to compare revisions of engineering drawings, and because someone moved some of the existing images to make room for the additions the compare tool just shows the entire sheet on old and new versions as having been replaced.Is there no way to match up individual portions of figures or sheets? If I have two pdf versions and they have (0,0) in coordinates at slightly different spots, the program should be able to recognize the actual differences and not just tell me the entire thing is different.Useless, who would build a diff tool and then make it unusable because it can't actually distinguish content? Does anyone know of a compare tool for pdfs that has any level of intelligence and won't think I deleted and replaced everything between two versions of a document that are 99% the same but had their position adjusted?Adobe sucks

Hello.I am using Acrobat to create a form fillable PDF, where the fillable fields use certain fonts. However, when I send the PDF to a friend, they cannot see the intended fonts unless they have installed them themselves. How can I solve this so they doesn’t need to install the fonts? I know this is possible, since I have downloaded PDFs where the fillable fields use fonts I don’t have, and I can see them fine.Help, please?

I have a user fillable form that is saved as a file when Submit button is clicked. I have set the General property of the Submit button as “Visible but does not print”.  The trouble is that Submit button image is also saved in there which I don’t want to. Any suggestion how I can avoid the SUBMIT button image being saved? Thanks.

I have a fill in form that has all the areas that have a text box highlighted in blue.  How do I get rid of that?

We have a re-occuring issue with a number of users.  When attempting to digitally sign a PDF, the file will save but the signature is not there.  After several attempts the file will save with  the signature in place.   We have exhausted our internal knowledge on this and seeing if anyone has seen this and have managed to resolve this. 

Sorry to repost here, I can't delete the other post in the general discussion forum. I am using Adobe PDF Extractor API.  The <require('@adobe/pdfservices-node-sdk')> thing. It converts PDF to a readable JSON file. I have a simple PDF file that has basic words on the corners, 4 per corner, 2 pages. Total results should be 8, but I am getting only 5 elements when examining the output JSON file. How is this API missing such a simple test case?If it can't extract information accurately from a basic example, how much confidence can I have for much larger more complex PDF's? Should have: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, top left 2, top right 2, bottom left 2, bottom right 2.  

Hello everyone! I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard (Version 2024.003.20180 64-Bit). I just went through the whole guideline on "How to make a PDF Black and White". https://www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/resources/pdf-to-greyscale.html Unfortunately, it always fails, the document in colour could NOT become B&W in any way. Has anyone encountered this issue/problem lately?  

Noto Sans is apparently not a OTF font that is supported by Adobe. It's an Apple system font The illustration shows how Noto Sans appears in Acrobat 2023.003.20269. It clogs up the text selection window. For fun, I tried to use it and every version reproduces just like any other non-OTF fonts...as black dots. It's the same in every other app that uses fonts—InDesign, Photoshop, but is worst in Acrobat. The illustration shows how Noto Sans appears in Acrobat, but side by side. Imagine having to scroll through all of this to get to Times New Roman. Apple doesn't have a workaround. Is there a way to deselect Noto Sans and other useless Apple fonts so they don't appear in, and slow down, the character windows, especially in Adobe Acrobat?  This is Acrobat 2023.003.20269 on OS Ventura 13.5.1.

I can't share a link to any files from both my accounts because an error keeps popping up "We weren't able to share your files. Please try again later". I have updated the app and repaired the installation, changed some security and general things in settings, tried sharing different files fromn different accounts and nothing seems to work. What do I do? I use Windows 10.

I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat, but some files/programs remain.  In particular, Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service continues to run despite having no Adobe software installed.How do I uninstall this service?  There does not appear to be an uninstaller available.

whenever I add a text comment into a pdf I get this popup that cannot be turned off or moved out of the way, unless I end and restart the adobe acrobat. It's there even if I don't have the "Add Text as Comment" tool is active - as you can see, I have the select tool selected but that popup is still there for no reason. Is there a way to get rid of this thing?    

When converting to PDF a Word document some weird characters (0F, 1F, 2F, etc.) are inserted in footnotes:

Attempt to update Acrobat gave this error message-Multiple attempts still resulted in failure.  Tried to first re-install Acrobat, but failure.  Used AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021, which finished but did not fix problem.  Tried Win 11 Uninstall Troubleshooter Tool, which finished but did not fix problem.  Multiple reboots.  Tried to re-install via Cloud for Desktop, but failed to complete.  Now I'm out of ideas, and would value any this community might have.  tyia UPDATE:  I tried repairing the Cloud for Desktop application, which completed.  Then tried to install Acrobat from that app.  Failed, but led me to a different potential solution as per these screenshots... which also failed, same error message as I started with (Screenshots 37-40).  As it's now Monday I'm reaching out to Adobe for technical support. UPDATE 2:  Before contacting Support I had another option to fix, which failed but did yield another set of screen

I'm trying to switch from PDF Expert to Adobe Acrobat on my iPad but having issues with Google Drive integration. Here's my situation:Currently, I use:iPad with PDF Expert for PDF annotations (highlights, comments)Google Drive for file storageGoogle Drive desktop app on MacBook Air for local syncThis setup works perfectly - I can access and edit PDFs on any device, with changes syncing automatically. Files are also available offline on my MacBook.The problem: When trying to replicate this workflow with Adobe Acrobat on iPad, I can't access the Google Drive folders that are synced with my desktop. The folders simply don't appear in Acrobat's interface.Questions:Is there a way to make Acrobat on iPad see my desktop-synced Google Drive folders?If not, is there an alternative workflow to achieve the same functionality using Acrobat?

I have a multi page document (1,000's of pages) and need to delete every other page.  I can't figure out how to do this & I know it's doable.  I just don't have the time to delete this one page at a time.  Please help.
