How do I turn off the blue pop-up tool tips in Acrobat DC Pro (Mac version)? 

Reading a post from 3 years ago about adding more languages for accessibilty I'm wondering if any progress has been made in this regard. I prepare PDFs for accessibility, including Pacific languages, for an organisation that by law must make PDFs accessible to screen-readers. At the moment I can't find any way of doing this for the languages my documents are written in.

I have downloaded multiple daily pdfs from my brokerage account and modified them to create one pdf  with the number sections that I need to manage my finances.In trying to convert this pdf of many pages to an excel file, I'm getting numerous issues.1) The line by line entries as displayed on the pdf , eg. beginning balance      100, etc. show up as multiple pdf lines to one row in excel (as text instead of lines of numbers).  I have tried converting to .txt but the problem there is that the converter doesn't seem to recognize that each line is a separate line with an end of line/return character at the end and the result is a jumbled mess of lines running together.If I could get the conversion to a .txt file that emulates how the pdf looks (with each line showing separately), I figure I can copy and paste from my text editor into excel and work with it that way.Any ideas as to possible remedies to this problem?  I'm happy to answer more questions as neede

I am very new to writing scripts in PDF and have so far been able to learn a lot just from reading discussions here in this community so thank you to all those that contribute with questions and answers.   As seen in the attachment, I have a table of checkboxes in my form.  It is already set so that only 1 box per column can be checked but I am wondering how to also make it so that the user can only check boxes in the same row.  For example, if user selects the first "AddAlt1" CB that has an export value of "Cont1", then in "AddAlt2" CB and "AddAlt3" CB, only the boxes with an export value of "Cont1" can be selected.

I have a Topaz LK462 and have installed all the supporting software drivers and adobe Plug-in.  Problem is, I did all the recommended settings but when I go to Tools/Certificates the Digitaly Signselection is greyed out?   Whats going on. 

Hey everyone, I want to highlight and mark important passages, but I can't select them. I can only select single words and that with a double click. Means selecting a whole passage is dreadful. I checked OCR and yes, I can edit the PDF I created it via word. Checked other documents problem persists with all PDFs. I scanned the PDF, tired editing mode (no words are not in their own boxes). I dont wanna use all the time my reader - that's not why I pay monthly...Thanks in advance!

I am currently working on an account form. I have one drop down called Options with selections "Add" , "Transfer", and "Existing". I have two separate text fields "Add" and "Transfer". For the "Add" selection, I want "Add" field to show only.for the "Transfer" selection, I only want "Transfer" to show. I used script for Transfer field and it works.if(this.getField("Dropdown3").value == "Add Funds"){event.target.display = display.visible;}else{event.target.display = display.hidden;} I tried to the same script with the add field, but both fields remain hidden when I select "Add" in the drop down.   Please help.

I am putting a drop down list in a fillable form that the text needs to word wrap in order to fit in the box on the form. Since multiple lines is not an option in the properties.  Thank you for your help

Hi,I have a new PC build and I have already deactivated Acrobat on my old PC.When I try to activate Acrobat X Pro on my new PC I am receiving the error  "this serial number has already been activated on 2 computers. You must correct this problem to continue", "launch one of the other copies of Acrobat X Pro, click on the help menu and select Deactivate…"I have already deactivated Acrobat on my old PC so why I can't register?Thanks,Asaf

When editing a PDF document on Mac, trying to add a text box only gives the option of the Helvetica font. I get an error message saying, "The original font Calibrari is not available or can't be used." I added the Calibrari Font to Adobe Creative Cloud and restarted. I went to Adobe Preferences> Content Editing> Changed Font options to both say Calibrari. Let me know what I can do to solve this issue.

I'm trying to have the option from Dropdown1 and the Dropdown2 generate a new set of options that populate Dropdown3. So, if someone selected Option 1 in Dropbox 1 and Option3 in Dropbox2, the options available in Dropbox3 would be ItemA, ItemB, ItemC, Item D, ItemE, ItemK, ItemL, ItemM, ItemN, and ItemO from which they could choose one. Whats happening is, whichever Dropbox1 or Dropbox2 I click on most recently is populating with its selections and deleting the previous ones. I have some PDF files, while opening in Adobe Acrobat it keeps freezing and disrupting workflow and cause significant inconvenience. Any suggestion?

This option USED to be at the botttom of the General tab in Preferences, but now it's no longer there and I very much NEED it for FusionPro on my M2 Mac.  

How can I make the text a user types into a forms text box automatically resized so when they type more text in than will fit it shrinks and resizes so it still all fits?

Hi there, I need to set up a form field name array to check if the field names "8 base 2" to "8 base 8" are visible. If they are visible then I will need to show then next one to show along with the Name, Sig and Date boxes. Also when it shows "8 base 5" Page 2 needs to be spawned. Hello Acrobat Community, I've been having issues regarding the files exporting from InDesign and viewing the PDF in a browser using Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat. At early stage, I thought it's errors on InDesign part as I mention in my post here. I use Thai fonts and the exported files looks perfectly fine, but if I copied&pasted it on Notepad or using ctrl+f funtion to look for keywords, I coundn't find a single match as all the fonts are in the wrong orders with unprocessed glyphs or unknown characters as attached. This causes us lots problems as we want to spread knowledge and info to all audience, but our work has never been showed up on the web browser because they cannot find the matching keywords by the search engine. After the generous help from InDesign Community, I did some new setting and adjustment but the problems persist. And we tried using the same text and fonts on Illustrator to compare and the issue reduces significantly but some issues rem

 I want my "Total Activity Requested" to be the sum of all "Requested Dose" (i.e. fields R1-R10)  Mathematically I'd want: Total Activity Requested = R1 + Sum of (Rx/exp(-0.00632*(Ax-Cal))     (where Rx = Fields R2-R10 and Ax = Fields A2-A10)) Ax-Cal is the time difference between the two fields in minutesUsing the above image as an example: For example R1 = 200 Cal: 11/02/2025 09:00   R2 = 250 A2 = 11/02/2025 10:00  R3 = 120 A3 = 11/02/2025 11:00  The "Total Activity Requested" can be calculated to be = 200 + 250/exp(-0.00632*60) + 120/exp(-0.00632*120)  I am expecting the answer to be 821.  I hope this makes sense.  

Hello... I tried Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorercheckbox in  Preferences, but that did not work. I am using Mystic Thumbs which shows thumbnails of all the other Adobe apps successfully (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) but no luck with PDF files...so I am assuming (possibly wrongly) that the problem is not with Mystic Thumbs.Is there another way to enable this...through the registry, perhaps? Thanks.ssander

Hi guys - not a tech savvy human so go gentle.I am running macOS Sequoia 15.0.0 and Microsoft 365 and Acrobat Pro Both freshly uninstalled and reinstalled and up to date. Every time I open Word or Excel, I get little pop ups for:   'Grant Access File'. Microsoft needs access to the file named "AcrobatUtils.scpt" 'A macro in the file "linkCreation.dotm" is requesting this access. (Screenshot below.)   There will be three or four of them, and even after granting access, closing the doc and reopening word/excel with a different or new doc, the pop ups appear again. I have stopped granting access because I have no clue what I am granting access to ,and it makes zero difference to the outcome.   This only a recent thing - maybe since updating to 15.0.1? But really, I don't know. I am ready to throw the lot in the trash as I am wasting so much time closing the little pop ups and googling what is wrong.   Please help!!
