Whenever I print multiple pages or booklets, Acrobat shrinks the pages, even though I have adequate margins that don't need shrinking. For example, I have two 8-1/2 pages printed 2-up on an 11 x 17 sheet. Acrobat always shrinks the full 8-1/2 inch page to fit within the assumed printable margins of the larger page. Likewise, I have a document set up as 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 to print as a booklet, and Acrobat shrinks the pages to fit within the print area of the sheets. This is doubly frustrating because my printer will print edge to edge (it is a Xerox Phaser 7760GX color laser) on all sizes of paper it handles.

I have been exporting PDF calendars to Word docx tables for 3+ years with increasing formatting problems but now it’s got the text wrong and it would take too much time to clean it up.  My subscription is up for renewal in  a few weeks and this is a major part of my client work.  What happened to the export function?  I am still using Windows 10 and Office 2019, but have been granted absolution into their ESP program for this year.  I have tried both my desktop version and the online version. Both create the same horrific files.   HELP!

I scan a lot of pages from books on my job, and I need to be able to cut the individual PDFs in two, in order to get one book-page on each PDF.I am too lazy to scan each page individually- can Acrobat XI Pro do that?It ought to.. I mean, it´s pretty expencive:-o

Error Placing Image. Selecting Touch Up Object Tool, Right clicking and selecting Insert Image, select a jpeg file (or any other picture file), and get error "Incorrect PDE Object type".Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 with Windows 8.1. I can't even insert an image created in Photoshop Essentials.

When using Adobe pdf as the printer in AutoCAD, texts and dimensions become really bold!This issue has appeared recently. It's not related to the lineweight or fonts in the AutoCAD since I've tried changing all settings related to that. It's definitely something related to Adobe printer. For now I'm using .pc3 printer in AutoCAD, but would be nice if I could use Adobe pdf printer like before. Is anyone else having a similar issue or has found a solution?

My computer restarted after windows updates and now I'm unable to preview pdf's as before. I have tried resetting View Options... in different options as suggested by multiple forums. None have been able to re-activate the Preview Pane option. In Adobe preferences, I've checked and unchecked "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" without success.Coworkers are now experiencing the same thing after the automatic updates occurred after-hours. Suggestions or alternatives to opening each file?

Hello! Recently we have had a user encounter an error when using Adobe Acrobat Pro that states the following: Cannot find or create the font ‘Helvetica’. Some characters may not display or print correctly. I have manually ensured that this user has all Helvetica-related fonts installed on their device, and verified that other users are not having this issue when opening this document, so i’m unsure what else to do.  I have also repaired and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello, I'm suffering a very specific issue with Acrobat Pro that I haven't been able to find anyone else describing. My job requires I fill in a pdf document for the week using their template. The document is a form with many text fields that we need to fill in or select options on it. For whatever reason the COPY shortcut key stopped working a while back. Using CTRL+C has absolutely no effect. I can select text and manually right click and copy, or use the edit option, and the CTRL+V will paste the information without any problems. But CTRL+C and CTRL+X absolutely fail to perform their regular actions. It also appears like CTRL+X deletes whatever is selected. I also have a MacBook and every shortcut key works 100%. I have no idea why on Windows it turns off. Yes, it turns off. I have uninstalled Acrobat and reinstalled it. To find the shortcut key works right after reinstalling Acrobat. Only to have the shortcut key stop working right after I close Acrobat. Would love to know why

Users are reporting that Acrobat and Reader is not opening during a Citrix seamless session. When assisting users we have clear users acrobat.exe process that is running in the background. Once clear the user can use adobe again. This issue is very inconsistent making it almost impossible to get Procmon logs. We are seeing this trend when users are working within an adobe document for some time, close the PDF and reopen a new one.This issue has been persistent since summer 2025. We have created multiple tickets with Adobe and they told us to make a community forum since they don't have the knowledge to assist with this matter… Troubleshooting stepsHave updated adobe to the latest version since summer 2025 to the most current patch. One of my end users sent the following message, "Each time I open a .pdf, it locks up, shows not responding, and then I have to close the file." No other Adobe Acrobat Pro x64 programs on other computers yeilded the same errors and are on the same version. Makes no sense. The settings are all the same across the board.

Hi, I'm trying to obtain some urgent assistance. I am trying to attach files to a PDF document (original document is 3 pages - an index). I go to Edit > Attach a File > select the .pdf file and then it will either show the file in the attachment panel and freeze or Adobe completely crashes. I have tried attaching files to different documents incase the index is corrupt - same thing. I have tried attaching different files in case the attachments are corrupt - same thing. We have done a repair and re-install, I have disabled the new Acrobat and tried the old version, disabled protected mode at startup and enhanced security, closed every other program so only Adobe is open and nothing has worked - it still crashes or freezes. I've even left it frozen for 30 minutes to see if it "needed time" but it didnt't. Please help! There are guidelines we have to follow with the format of the document which means the attachments can't be added as a comment. I'm going crazy!

To the Acrobat Developers:The Acrobat accessibility checker does a fantastic job the most part. Regarding headings (H1-H6) it does check to make sure that a document’s headings are properly ordered, if it has them. However, it does not create a failure if a document has no headings at all, specifically a H1 heading. This is critical. Every document must have at least a H1 heading to be accessibile.Please consider adding that feature to Acrobat’s accessibility checker. Other than that, it does a very good job.Thanks so much.

I have Adobe Acrobat installed on my computer. I also wan to have Adobe Reader on the computer.. However, Reader install fails because Acrobat is installed. (says more functional app found, installation terminated)

I'm trying to setup Microsoft sensitivity labeling in Acrobat 2025.001.20531 64bit. And I keep getting this error during authentication.AADSTS50011: The redirect URI 'acrobat2021.oauth2://miplogin' specified in the request does not match the redirect URIs configured for the application '97bd680b-f203-4917-a342-308a3de4094a'. Make sure the redirect URI sent in the request matches one added to your application in the Azure portal.I have followed the instructions on https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/mpip-support-acrobat.html?linkId=100000367294403 And have tried toggling the bMIPExternalAuthAdmin registry key between 1 and 0 as well with no success.Seems like Azure Enterprise Application 97bd680b-f203-4917-a342-308a3de4094a (Adobe Acrobat) in Azure Government must have the redirect URL 'acrobat2021.oauth2://miplogin' added. Chat support was no help, so posting here.  Thanks!!

 We have 50+ users today that are having Adobe crash a few seconds after launching it. error report detail - <crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" instruction="0x00007FFEFD2FA295"> It was working fine last weekAdobe reader works fine for the same user on their same machine.Adobe version: 23.006.20320We have found that uninstalling and reinstalling seems to fix it but would like to know the root cause and other ways to remediate this or if other businesses / users have been impacted.

I would like to turn off the bookmark tab permanently that automatically opens for every pdf I open in Acrobat. It takes up a large chunk of my screen with every file I open, and I don't use the bookmarks. I want to do this for ALL pdfs I ever open. Not just for one file at a time. As far as I can tell, this is something the developers will need to make possible. There's a discussion about it, but no request to make this change that I am aware of.How can I turn off permanently the bookmarks panel... - Page 2 - Adobe Community - 12992518 Please upvote so we can get this change made!

I’ve just upgraded from Acrobat Pro 2020 (perpetual licence) to the 3-year 2024/Classic track equivalent on Windows 11. One of my primary uses for Acrobat is compiling portfolios of emails in Outlook 365. Previously in the 2020 version I could export the emails, then open the portfolio and make minor changes (set a horizontal/vertical window split view and add a “To” column to mimic an inbox). These functions are no longer available in Pro 2024/Classic. An entire right-click context/submenu is missing when the portfolio file is open. Screenshots below: 1) 2020, showing the availability of the “View” context menu to make changes to columns and the use of a vertical screen split and 2) 2024, showing the lack of this menu. The lack of functionality is appalling. I also attempted to contact support via the website chat and my query was terminated without ever speaking to anyone. When I edit a pdf document, the document has red strikethrough marks wherever I changed text -- and the new text is contained in a “comment box.” Obviously, I want the new text in the document itself, but there does not appear to be any way to make that happen. If I close and reopen the document, or export it, or try to print it--it still has all the strikethrough marks visible, without the new replacement text. In other words, it seems possible to indicate changes you WANT to make in a document, but it does not seem possible to actually make those changes.Google indicates I need to “exit edit mode” but that may not be possible. Clicking the pan “hand” does nothing. Pressing “esc” does nothing. Closing and re-opening Adobe does nothing. Curiously, AI Assistant is completely clueless on this seemingly important matter--no idea how to make desired editorial changes actually take effect in the pdf document. 

I have the latest Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) on Windows 11. I uninstalled the program, it didn’t remove Acrobat Update Service (32-bit) and its directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0. I had to manually kill the process from the Task Manager and then remove the related directory.

When the ‘add open files’ dialog box opens there isn’t any color contrast to show selected files.The files in the list always appear the same.  Clicking on any one of the file or more than one (ctrl) doesn’t highlight anything.  Impossible to tell which files are selected or not selected.  In the attached image… both files are selected…. 

Dog sh!t product with 800 extensions that crash even an amazing computer. Unusable. Crap. Hate it. Cancelled membership after years and years. Finding another product that doesn't have all this bullcr@p.

I'll switch from the full CC to Photos only, thus loosing the Acrobat app among others. So I'd like to download an archive of all my Adobe CC documents prior to downgrading my plan. But in the CC or the Acrobat apps, I cannot find a way to do that. Can you help me ?
