Hello All, Currently having an issue where we're pre-filling some fields of a form which has check boxes and text fields, but when requesting an e-signature and the recipient recieves the e-sign and goes to complete it, the check boxes that were previously checked are now empty, but the text fields still have the info before sending them. I've seen fixes of saving the semi pre-filled file seperately, then requesting with that file, but I'm looking for an easier fix for users not having to do that. Thanks.

Hello, I’m reporting what looks like a Mac Acrobat Pro rendering bug affecting fillable PDF forms (IRS forms such as Form 5472 / 1120).  Problem Previously filled form fields (text already entered days/months ago) suddenly started displaying incorrectly in Acrobat on Mac:  broken/strange character spacing distorted text appearance inside form fields text looks scattered or stretched in some fields   Important observations (why this looks like an Acrobat display/render bug)  Mac Quick Look shows the same PDF correctly Print Preview shows the same PDF correctly Another PDF viewer app also shows the text correctly Only Acrobat on Mac displays the form field text incorrectly on screen  This strongly suggests:  PDF data is intact form data is intact print output is intact issue is Acrobat’s on-screen rendering of form field text   Environment / Repro context  Tested on 2 different MacBook Pros Tested with 2 different Adobe accounts Same issue on both machines/accounts

Hi!I’m running Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release Version 2026.001.21367 | 64-bit.Everything was fine earlier this month. However, by Friday, April 3rd, I started having problems with Acrobat crashing every time I tried to delete text inside a container in the Content Panel.At first, when I deleted the whole container, it would also make the container below disappear as well, but the physical content on the page would still be there and would re-appear once the file was save.Then, I had to revise/replace some text in an H2 tag—not all the text but only some–in a 508-compliant PDF. I had a separate replacement PDF with the correct text and my 508-compliant PDF I was working on. In the 508 file, I went into the Content Panel and tried to delete some of the text in a container and it kept crashing. Over and over it crashed. Then, I separated out the text I needed to replace from the rest of its companion and was able to delete it and then copy in the new text.This is a new development with

User hat sich angemeldet in Acrobat und kann die Pro Tools nutzen, wenn er aber z.B. Unterschriften einfügen will, hängt sich Acrobat auf und kann nur mehr per Task Manager beendet werden. I want to submit a children’s book (bright colors) to Amazon KDP. All pages created in RGB. I used Acrobat to create a combined PDF of all the interior pages. It looks to me like all the RGB colors were retained-- which is what I wanted.I need to save the file in PDF/X format. I’d like to save it as a PDF/X-3 because I’ve read that you can retain RGB colors in the PDF/X-3 format (as opposed to PDF/X-1a which forces CMYK).But I can’t seem to make this work in Acrobat. When I try to create the PDF/X-3, Acrobat forces me to choose a PDF/X-3 conversion profile that converts the colors to CMYK-- at least it sure looks that way because the colors in the resulting PDF/X-3 are MUCH DULLER than the colors in the original file.Any suggestions? How do I create a PDF/X-3 and somehow retain RGB color??

A coworker reported this error message today when trying to digitally sign a document in Acrobat: "This document contains embedded actions (e.g. OpenAction or Additional Actions). These actions are supported in this version of Acrobat, but may be disabled in future versions. I have an old PDF file that I protected with a password, but I’ve completely forgotten what it was. I need to access the file urgently for important information, but I can’t open it due to the password.Is there any safe and effective PDF password remover tool or method that I can use to unlock the file without damaging it? I’d prefer a free or reasonably priced solution if possible.

For myself (and it appears many others) this is the worst feature Adobe Acrobat (maybe Adobe period) currently has. Trying to edit a PDF is a nightmare with this idiotic scan. It repeatedly scans, over and over (once isn't enough?) it takes forever, and oddly it tilts random images off center.What is the purpose of this? To frustrate users into using another PDF editor? I could understand if it was a work in progress, but you can't even turn the damn thing off. I've tried all the "steps" recommended and nothing. Yes, I have the latest version. Threads like this appear through-out Adobe support. It's currently a garbage feature - allow me to turn it off until it's useful. Until then, I'm using another editor. 

When using organise pages in Acrobat to extract some pages, once the extraction is done and the extracted pages are closed, when you click back onto any page in the original document, acrobat grabs that page and jumps back to the top of the doc and drops the page wherever the cursor is. Only started happening with the latest update, never been an issue before, and it’s incredibly annoying when trying to extract a series of pages from a long document, as it effectively moves pages around.

I have a PDF file that is password-protected, and I need to access or edit its contents. Is there any simple and reliable tool that can help remove the password? Preferably something easy to use for beginners. 

Recently Acrobat has started a strange behavior of clearing out the entire file name when I try to use a decimal as part of the file name. For example, when I have a new document, and I click Save As, I start typing the file name, and if I type a decimal, the next time I type a space after that decimal it clears out the entire name. So - “Test - 1234 - Testing - 1.99 “ As soon as I type the space after the “99” it clears out the entire file name. If I do not type a decimal, there’s no issues. Is this a bug? It never used to do this prior to a 5-6 days ago when it started.

I have created a PDF document from Word that has in-text hyperlinks, whereas you click on the link and it will take you to another page within the document. When I test it using NVDA screen reader, it will read the sentence up until the line that says “page 2”. For example it will read: “For more information, please see.” and will stop before reading the intext hyperlink that says “page 2” at the end of the sentence. I have no issues with external hyperlinks, only ones that link within the document. Just looking for some guidance or assistance in fixing this issue. 

Still not resolved… To batch process invoices from MS Word doc to PDF I’ve used Acrobat Pro's Create PDF > Multiple Files which has worked fairly smoothly for years. Definitely worked May 1/26 invoicing. Then on invoice day at beginning of April, it's now not working and still doesn’t work with updates.Acrobat Pro won't process the Word files and getting message saying that I have to change MS Word Privacy Preferences. It appears that Microsoft is not allowing the Word docs to be processed locally and forcing a user to batch on the MS website/cloud (Connected Experiences), which I DO NOT want.This was never an issue before. I don't know if something is broken or they simply changed something where you can't do batch processing on your computer (locally) and forcing you to use MS Connected Experiences. Since the AI Assistant feature was introduced, I've been experiencing a consistent issue with Acrobat on Windows 11 Pro (fully updated, original licensed version). Every time I open the app, it freezes for a while, then unfreezes, freezes again, and eventually becomes usable. However, this pattern repeats every time I close and reopen the application.My system is not the issue: SSD, dedicated GPU, plenty of RAM and storage. All my Adobe apps are up to date, and the problem seems isolated to Acrobat. I strongly suspect the issue began with the AI Assistant integration, as everything was smooth before.In addition, I have a long-standing question: why do Acrobat updates not appear in the Creative Cloud desktop app like other Adobe apps (e.g., Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)? I've always had to update Acrobat manually from within the app itself. Is there a technical reason for this separation?I'd appreciate any insights, solutions, or explanations from the community or Adobe staff.Thanks

I only have one device.  Support had me uninstall and reinstall, that didn’t work.  There are no devices listed in my account (I have a legacy version of Adobe Acrobat that is not a subscripton).  They then told me to come to this community and “an expert would help me fix it.”  Can anyone help?

Adobe Acrobat is the worst that exists and is a waste of money, a lot of monthly expense, and you can't perfectly edit the forms

I have a PDF document. I want to add a text box and I used 'Edit' then 'Text' under ADD CONTENT. The letters come out OK but numbers are showing as symbols. I searched for the issue and found something to do with changing the language from English with Arabic Support, but that hasn't worked. Also if I type hyphen in the text box, it starts typing the letters from right to left. Such a simple task is so painful and I end up having to use InDesign. The image attached I tried to type 'abc-12345' and you can see the result.I am so frustrated by Adobe Acrobat. It is so buggy in the last year or so and trying to contact Adobe is impossible. This is a paid subscription and the programme rarely works how it used to. It wastes so much time in my work trying to resolve the issue.

Hello, I have attempted the workaround methods for error 105 when trying to save a document as stated in previous posts.  I believe this has to do with adobe not recognizing my account and keeps telling me to subscribe, although my account shows the payment history to Adobe Acrobat DC for the past year.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem, if they have encountered it before?  Otherwise, I will be finding another program that works with PDFs and cancel this subscription.

How can I cancel the Adobe Acrobat free trial before they charge me? It’s not under “Manage Plan” because the only active plan I have there is Lightroom, and that’s the only one showing to cancel. But I received the confirmation email for the Acrobat free trial saying it will automatically charge in 7 days. Can you help me please?

Acrobat's AI podcast feature is great!!!But how do I save the actual audio? I’d like to attach it to my document and be able to send out (or post) both the podcast summary and the document together.  There doesn’t seem to be a link to download it or even a link to share it.This AI model is amazing :)Thanks in advance.

My computer restarted after windows updates and now I'm unable to preview pdf's as before. I have tried resetting View Options... in different options as suggested by multiple forums. None have been able to re-activate the Preview Pane option. In Adobe preferences, I've checked and unchecked "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" without success.Coworkers are now experiencing the same thing after the automatic updates occurred after-hours. Suggestions or alternatives to opening each file?

Updated almost weekly with minial feature advancements or performance improvements in sight, this horrific tool needs a re-write. I cannot believe the industry tolerate such garbage.
