Hello,  Since the latest update 2024.005.20320 , received on december 17th 2024, we are not able to print PDF files attached in an email (Outlook 2402) nor from Adobe Cloud storage.Our only solution is to download the file locally prior printing which is creating frustration among our users.Does anyone have the same issue? So far we tried to uninstall Adobe Acrobat using Adobe's cleaner as well as Outlook and our printer driver with no success. Tested with the old and new acrobat also.We can print without issues all sort of document and PDFs only if we have the file locally on the computer.Thanks for your help

Acrobat pdf document containing hyperlinks are validated in PAC it shows 'Alternate description missing for annotation', to resolve this executed the 'Fix problems in PDF tagging structure' in preflight option acrobat,  the issue resolved but in the pdf tool tip text highlights have extra texts for the url links. Hi all, Ive got a problem where when ever i try and reduce a file sizxe the font dissapears and gets replaced with little square boxes. I can only assume there is a problem with the font being used (Century Gothic). Would any one have any suggestions of how to actiually fix the problem...(not just work arounds)??

My serial number for Adobe Acrobat 2017 expired, so I bought a new one for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. I downloaded and installed the software and entered the serial number. When I try to open Adobe or a PDF document, the screen starts to open then crashes immediately. I can't get past this issue.Per advice on another thread, I deleted Acrobat Pro, restarted my system, and then installed Acrobat DC. It worked fine. The next step was to upgrade DC to Pro, but the software asked me to purchase the upgrade - it didn't give me an option to enter my serial number. I uninstalled all instances of Adobe products from my system, restarted the computer, and did a clean install of Acrobat 2020 Pro. However, it is still crashing on startup. I did see the registration screen flash up briefly before closing this time.How do I solve this? I need more functionality than DC provides. I don't want to get a monthly subscription, especially since I already paid for a standalone serial number.Here are the

Hello, I have mocked up a sample form of something I am trying to achieve. On the first page, selecting any check box activates the section page associate with it. My question is this. If I select the Section B check box, or the Section C check box, but not the Section A check box, and I tab from this page, the tabbing will tab to the email hyperlinks on all section pages. I am trying to figure out if there is a way that if a section check box on page 1 is not activated, that the tabbing will skip the page completely and not tab the hyperlinks if the form fields on that page are deactivated. There may be scenarios where all 3 check boxes on Page 1 could be selected by the user, or just some. They may select A/B/C,  or A/C,  or B, etc... If it's not possible, no worries. I'm just not sure if it's possible based on the fact any combination of the 3 check boxes could be activated. I am attempting to create a fillable PDF form that will be used to fill-out routine documents in an office environment (let's call it "Fillable Form Template"). Ideally, the end-user will be able to use the fillable form to create a finished PDF document, which will then be saved into a specific folder on their computer in a non-flattened format. From there, the end-user will press a "reset" button to clear the form fields, allowing them to reuse the form again and again until they have generated however many finished PDF documents as they need. Since the completed PDF documents that this form creates must be non-flattened, end-users cannot use the "Print as PDF" function, but must use the "Save As" function in order to save the finished PDF document in the appropriate folder on their computer. I'm not sure with which version this changed.Architecture: x86_64Processor: IntelBuild: 24.4.20219.0AGM: 7.1.8 So when you open a PDF, the Output Preview panel defaults to your working color profile, either set in the Acrobat preferences or synchronized through Bridge. Unless of course, the PDF/X file had a specified Output Intent, where it will default to that Simulation Profile. The ink values in the Separations are consistent with the exported file. I know I'm not imagining things, but it used to be when you changed to a different Simulation Profile, the view of that color breakdown would change, showing how that ink formula would appear in that other printing condition. All the numbers stayed the same, but their chromatic appearance on screen shifted to simulate the other condition. I scanned an old recipe book and when the pages are printed the background prints, gray or off white. I've tried removing the background, painting it white etc. I am at my end! Is there a way for just the text to print?I tried PDF and JPGThank you!

All,This shouldn't be this hard, but maybe I'm oversimplifying things...I am creating a form; in this form, I'd like the end-user to select(using the ctrl key-like "normal") multiple options. For example, if you're choices in the form are: Apples, Oranges, Pears, I'd like the end-user to be able to select any one or multiple of those options. Apples, pears or Oranges, Apples, etc.  How do I do this?If I need a javascript to do this, Adobe is really missing the point of ease of use. Thanks!...

I'm sure that this is a simple solution but I can't get figure out how to resize the blue field to match the black field. The dots surrounding the blue field do not allow me to resize it horizontally or vertically, any suggestions? When I click on the blue field, the program is identifying it as an image but I don't want to insert a picture. Do I need both fields? I just want people to be able to enter numbers.   Thanks so much!

Hello, We have a document that works already but needs to add some verabage and i cannot edit the exiting document and i am having to recreate it. Hi , Not sure why we can only split 20 pdf file at a time.

I've been editing a unprotected tax document, and just inputting text on multiple pages. The file saved once but then every time I go to save or save as optimized PDF I just get that the file needs to save first, and then "The document could not be saved. A file I/O error has occurred." Not sure if there is anything to turn on or off to get around this. I saw old examples from over a decade ago but can't find anything else on this situation. Thanks!

I've looked around Adobe and can't find an option for Canadian English.  It seems to only allow UK and US, neither of which are Canadian English.  I also don't see a way to download languages.   Anyone know how i can get my language for Acrobat? 

I work for a law firm and, since last week, a few staff members are having this issue. They download medical records from a certain medical records company. It opens in a Google Chrome tab and it is fine. They click the Download button and download it...when it opens in Adobe Acrobat Standard desktop app, a lot of the text is little black outlined white boxes. I know it is a font issue somewhere...I just don't know where. I highlighted some of the white boxes and right-click, copied and then pasted into Word using the same formatting. It is only an arial font...some bold, which our Windows 10 computers certainly have. So, why is Adobe Acrobat desktop not able to recognize it? Thanks in advance. Dave G.

Bonjour, nous n'avions jamais eu ce genre de probleme avant. Ce catalogue est le même depuis 2022. Nous accomplissons plusieurs impressions et celui ci est le seul avec ce probleme. Si j'imprime en page 8.5 x 11 tout est ok, mais si je l'imprime en catalogue broché 11 x 17 il sort tout plein de problèmes, photos et texte. J'ai refait le document en pensant que cela l'aurait réglé et j'ai réinstallé les pilotes Adobe PDF et imprimante. Rien n'a changé. Si j'imprime via le web aucun problème, mais via Adobe ça ne marche pas.  

Hi, Not sure what happened, but when I go to add text to a PDF, the option to change the color, font, font size, etc. has disappeared (see attached screenshot).   There used to be options to change the color, font, and font size right below the highlighted "text" button, but it's gone now. What happened?

We have Creative Cloud that checks for updates for the suite of apps, but Adobe Acrobat wants to run a process in the background "to check for updates". I have disallowed this process to run in the background. I have no clue why a PDF app needs to be taking cycles and RAM from my computer when I'm not using it. This app is now bugging me (a theme with Adobe apps), telling me it can't check for updates because I don't have this background process running. Seriously, is this a joke?

I've created some PDFs of user guides for our company's product and included a destination tag to a particular section. The destination tag link works fine for most users and opens the PDF in their browser at the appropriate section. However, if a user has the Acrobat extension installed on Chrome, the PDF opens in Acrobat extension on the first page ignoring the destination tag. Is there a solution to make sure the destination tag works for users who have the Acrobat plug-in installed on Chrome?

What I need to know is how to remove a stamp from a pdf after the pdf is saved, closed and reopened. Please understand that I am not asking how to delete a stamp from a list of available stamps. I know that I can "undo create stamp" from the edit menu immediately after placing a stamp on a pdf, but that option is not available after the document is saved, closed and reopened. It seems odd that removing a watermark is so simple while finding the means to remove a stamp is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I have a form which is to be completed by a worker then sent to supervisor to be signed.  Signatures are required from 3 separate roles (worker, supervisor, manager), however despite setting the property for each field to do 'nothing happens when signed' in the 'signed' tab, the subsequent signature block 'common properties' under 'general' tab marks the subsequent fields as 'read only'.  This prevents the supervisor and manager from signing the document.  Please see attached. We don't use cloud, instead distribute the completed form via email attachment for signoff.  Can anyone help me pleeeease?
