When I print PDF to file from Ultra tax it shrinks my document down. I'm printing from Ultratax CS to Acrobat Pro 32 bit. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hallo,wenn ich bei Adobe Acrobat das Werkzeug "Seiten verwalten" verwende, dann kann ich eine Seite durch Anklicken vergrößern und als einzige Seite anzeigen. Wie komme ich dann wieder zu der Ansicht zurück, die alle Seiten als Miniaturen anzeigt ? Gruß, Franz

Acrobat's rendering of fonts is bad with certain PDFs.  It renders just fine in your competitor's Foxit. Sample of Acrobat's rendering vs. Foxit's:How do I fix this in Acrobat?  Your programmers removed the turn 'Use Local Fonts' off option from the 'rendering preferences' menu.  Thank you.  

Keep getting Error 2753: The File 'FullTrustNotifier.exe1' is not marked for installation Have done Add Remove Programs. Have used the Adobe uninstaller tool before a complete reinstall. Keep getting this error and cannot get past this to install the desktop versions.

Hi,  I work on many forms for a large client (of which I can't share files or work from, so please don't ask). Every time I run their new forms through Make Accessible (where it auto populates the fillable fields) its creating fillable radio buttons for all my many yes/no question checkboxes. I'm hoping there's a setting I can change?? If not, there should be. Not sure why you couldn't tell acrobat your preference or have a way of changing it later. I'm also not asking how to make them "look like a check" when you select it or how to code the name of the field between both fillable fields so it "functions" like a yes/no checkbox. I want the properties, when I select it, at the top of the properties window to say Checkbox Properties.. not Radio Button Properties. Because radio buttons you can't unselect, and checkboxes you can. I had a colleague tell me I would have to hand create the checkboxes, and even if I copy and paste at best that still means I'm renaming tons of c

Hi . I can't change sign in PDF .how to do it?

I do not want to be FORCED to save pages that I extract from a large document. I scan multiple invoices, sometimes 150 a day to the email, and all of a sudden in order to send an extracted pdf you have to save it! NO. This will do nothing but add a bunch of unnecessary documents to my computer. I do not need or want to save them, I want to send them via Microsoft Office, like I have been doing for MONTHS. Please tell me there is a way to run off the save option.

I saw this asked before in the forum (sometime 2011), and the response was that as long as there is significant contrast between text color and background color, Acrobat can OCR white on dark or dark on white.This is not consistent though. I already tried to OCR an image with both white text on black background, and black text on white background (on the same image).The black text on white were recognized, but the white on black were not.I'm trying to write a script or action in Acrobat to automate OCR and save to text file when opening image/PDF. But this limitation is an issue.Any idea if this will be fixed?I'm using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac (11.0.19).

For work, I produce graphic elements and documents for printing, both laser and offset.I never have problems because I respect the PDF-X standards that are required of me.However, I would like to know which of the preflight profiles most used in prepress are among those available in Acrobat Pro. personally in the past I have found useful the profile that sets the cropbox as the trimbox... or the profile that checks compatibility with a certain PDF-X standard.sometimes I use Acrobat change color tool. with indesign it is possible to do a preflight before producing the PDF file while with Illustrator, which has never caused me problems, it is possible to do it with Acrobat only after producing the PDF.Can those who carry out prepress activities find sufficient tools in Acrobat Pro or do they have to use other dedicated software?thanks: D

I work in book publishing. When checking page spreads in PDFs, I need to toggle between showing and hiding the cover page. (Long story as to why; it just helps during different steps in page-checking.) I have all the other display tools in my toolbar: single page, single-page scrolling, two-page, and two-page scrolling -- but to show/hide the cover page, I have to click through the view menu. I need to do this several times in each file, with anywhere from five to twenty files per book. Is there a keyboard shortcut for this, or a hidden toolbar option I just haven't found? It's not a deal-breaker; it's more like the proverbial grain of sand in the shoe. Every other setting I need is available in my toolbar, so I'm not sure why this one should be left out. BTW, I know how to set the default display to show/hide the cover page. It's switching quickly and repeatedly between the two states that's frustrating me.

Hello, I'm having issues with printed pdf files. When I print the file name sometimes has .pdf at the end of the file name and some don't. So when I'm trying to put them together into one file the ones without .pdf are not showing up even though they are in the folder

Greetings, For my job we need to create a form that has editiable text boxes and in certain parts of the doccument alot of space is sometimes needed to explain a situation.  So far we have been using work with page breaks built it. The problem with this is that the doccument becomes too editiable and things that should not get changed do. So essentially i want to be able to have baked in formatting like page breakes and question that cant be edited. But then also have a text box that will expand and move everything below it down so that it can be printed.  From my googling this was possible with live cycle pro. Can this be done with any modern program?

Hi there, I'm tasked with making an artwork a print ready pdf - however some of the images are below 300ppi and I can't seem to increase them in photoshop. They are embedded in there,  so I unembedded those images and tried to increase the ppi to 300 but it didnt change anything.Should I request a packaged file illustrator file? Thoughts?Thanks, Tarn

Hi,We have this issue that I'm trying to upload to a gov website on a document that has the export>XDXF file format.But whenever I open the file and click on the export function, it will show the error on the attachment.Its funny cause I have the proper licenses and rights.Plus I'm using the Adobe application and not on browser.The function from menu>form options>export to xfdx seems to not be able to upload despite the format.Need this to work, anyone facing similar issues?Tried updating to the latest, repair and uninstall.Nothing works Any help would be awesome

Adobe Pro starts with a blank white window on opening and immediately closes without any error message after 5 seconds. can anyone help me fix this?

Hello everyone! I got a PDF from a client, a product catalogue. After printing I realized that some contents (text in headers of each table) disappeared. I checked the PDF, and the text was set to Overprint fill, with process white color. My Fiery server is set so Adobe PDF Print Engine is active, instead of the RIP.If in Acrobat the Working Space is set to Coated FOGRA39 (ISO 12647-2:2004), and Adobe PDF Print Engine is active in Fiery, then the text disappears in printing. If Adobe PDF Print Engine is inactive, and the Fiery uses the RIP, then the text does not disappear after printed.Further more if Working Space in Acrobat is set to  US Web Coated (SWOP) v2, and the Fiery uses Adobe PDF Print Engine instead of RIP, then the text is printed, does not disappear.Can someone tell me why? In Acrobar Pro, in the Output preview window, the Simulate Overprinting option is active, then the text disappears. When Adobe fixes the skewed page, it does a great job of putting it straight but some of the symbols are completely distorted, other than deleting one of the line of symbols on the chart (part in red in the screenshot).I added the Japanese language to fix the issue with the text characters not being recognized and now it's fine and I was wondering if there is a way to also embed these little circles and dots that are in the chart, as I embedded the Japanese text, so not to be distorted.Would anyone know?     

Hello everyone, I'm writing to you because I've had a problem for 2 days that I can't seem to solve. I work in the printing industry and use Illustrator and Acrobat Pro on a daily basis. For the past two days, when I open a PDF file from a customer in Acrobat, it appears randomly with the correct colour rendering : or with a bland white filter : Here's an example of a file, sometimes when I open it I get the right colours and other times I get this.I've tried adjusting the colour management settings, using the Adobe ACE or CMM or Microsoft ICM engine, but it doesn't make any difference.I've tried changing the colour profile in the Windows display settings or removing the HDR rendering, but nothing changes. I've noticed that sometimes, when I set my window to small rather than full screen, the colours revert to the correct ones at random. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

I purchased Acrobat 7.0 Professional and loaded it on a desktop. I would like to download it on a mac. when i put the serial number in, it says the number is already in use which is correct. Can i somehow download this to the new mac?
