I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 version.There are poems on the web that have been printed and now appear as png files.I drag the page from the wb to my desktop, then drag it into Acrobat.Then, I select "Edit a PDF", which converts the fonts into text.Each line of converted text of the poem shows up as a separate line in Acrobat.My goal is to combine all the separate lines (along with their existing line breaks), in order to paste the entire text of the poem into WordPress. Is that possible?If possible without line breaks that would also be ok, but not ideal.Any assistance would be grately appreciated.

Hello, my university license allows me to use Acrobat Pro with Creative Cloud also on my private computer, but I can (for sure) open only one instance at the same time (either at university computer or at the private computer). For this reason my family members would like to use the free license of Acrobat Reader at the same time, but it seems to be not possible to have installed the Pro Version and the Free Version simultaneously on one computer (even if my family members use different log ins). Is there any solution, to prevent that we have to use a reader of another company? Regards, Dennis

 this button is not working. I use the same free version in mobile phone also. And the process of add bookmarks is available and easy in mobile phone. Then why not in laptop? Please help. Thanks in advance. 

How do I alter the position of the text in a text field in acrobat? I've created the file in indesign but I'm trying to get the text to go to the top of the text field rather than the centre in the PDF 

Hi, folks!As I was signing in to Adobe Acrobat for the first time on my Xiaomi Android device, through my Apple ID...I got a brief notification banner on my phone saying (paraphrasing) *a/strange/email/address/that/I/can't/remember* is "privately applied to your account.I can't find any trace of such a notification on my phone now....Am I being hacked?Thanks for your ideas.Joni

the application run on Windows 11 Pro,when open the preglight,it dispaly unable to copy the user-specific preferences.

Only recently the "invalid annotation object error" popped up when I accessed an adobe document. I was able to solve the problem by opening the document in Google Chrome. Then I chose "Print" by clicking on the printer icon, and selected Destination Save as PDF > Save. I renamed the file and the problem went away.

I have a user running the latest version of  Adobe Acrobat Pro 64 bit.  When he clicks on a  URL within a PDF document the application freezes and it takes forever to open the link.  I have run a repair and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it still happens.  Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue.

I can't find the option to create documents as pdf 2.0.Isn't it possible in Release DC 19.012.20040?

I can send you the file. It will probably look fine to you, but on my system half the page is missing. The content is not there in the contents panel either. I've had other people open it and they see it just fine. Outside of going through my friends preferences one by one to compare our systems, I'm left in inexplicable why mode. I didn't create the PPT. And I can't get the original. When I export the PDF of it back to PPT to see if I can reproduce a good PDF, I get the same problem...content missing in the PDF. Perhaps you can help me. Thanks.

I have a PDF which includes both English and Thai text, both display fine in the PDF.I can copy English text from it with no problems, but when I copy any Thai text and paste it into another application it shows up as random non-Thai characters.I've attached the PDF here.The problem happens on both my Windows PC and my Android phone so it appears to be a problem with the PDF, not the viewer software.Can anybody help figure out what is going on please?

Hello smart people of Adobe! Im having an issue with a fillable form I created for my employees. I wanted to make my onboarding packet a fillable form so people can fill it out on their phones or laptops but the checkbox doesnt show up on the mobile version.  I went to All Tools > Prepare a Form. I used the text field and checkbox for the entire thing. The screenshot with the checkmark is the file opened up on my desktop and the other screenshot is the same file but opened up on my phone.  Just to be clear the file opened on desktop works 100%! Its only on mobile where the checkboxes arent showing up.

I have problems with the OCR of the application, sometimes images are created inside the paper I am working on. there are times when the images on a paper are "pasted". there are times when the texts move. OCR sometimes does't detect some images, iam using Adobe Acrobat PRO DC 18.9.20044. help, i need to modify my PDF's.

I can auto-calculate the miles in my fillable form using the table and script below. However, I want them to be able to select an "other" as an option in the drop-downs (putting an explanation in the purpose column) so they can manually input their own miles in the miles column. Tired of clicking way too many times through Acrobat just to make a scan? After looking for a way like many others, in the end I figured out the coding myself and replied to an initial post. Here by a new post to have a more recent thread. SOLUTION:Create a .vbs file and use the following code below.It works for me on Windows 7 and with Adobe version 9. If your program path is different that than the x86 folder in this example, just simply correct the path to your own installed version. Not sure about OS or Linux platforms.NOTE: This is for English version only. I have a huge redaction project that has been first-pass reviewed but the redaction marks (b(6)) not yet applied. Counsel wants an additional FOIA redaction exemption (b(7)(c)) added to ALL of the yet-to-be applied redaction marks.  Can I do that in a batch so I don't have to open each of the 900+ documents, then open properties and ADD the new text overlay to every single redaction box (literally thousands of little red boxes - making my head swim!)? 

Hi there, Last Thursday 30th September I had an onscreen message saying Adobe Acrobat was being updated. After this was finished I create a PDF and random lines of text are being deleted. I then unistalled, shut downa nd restarted and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat and this problem went away. My manager encoutnered the same thing the day after me. Today Tuesday 5th October I received the same onscreen message saying Adobe Acrobat was being updated. I created a PDF and it continues to delete random lines of text. I uninstalled, shut down and restarted, then reinstalled Adobe Acrobat and it is still deleting random lines of text.  Can somone please helpme fix this issue? Recently, when exporting an InDesign document to a PDF or going to rename an Acrobat PDF File I keep getting "the file name or path is too long"  This has not been an issue in the past, as I have current file names longer than what I was trying to do. It seems it won't let me go over 25 characters  Is this new? Am I missing some setting? Why am I just experiencing this in the past two weeks? 

What does Adobe  Acrobat Reader DC have that is not in Adobe Acrobat DC?The reason I ask is we have an application that requires us to have both Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat DC installed to open PDFs.Acrobat DC by itself brings up a blank page. We need the features of Acrobat DC, which doesn't work unless we also install Acrobat Reader DC.I always thought Acrobat DC included all the features in Acrobat Reader DC. Acrobat Pro DC works fine by itself, no problems there. For now our work around is to install Reader DC after the Acrobat DC install, or just install Acrobat Pro DC, which works fine. Just seems wierd to have to install Reader DC with Acrobat DC.

Considering the amount of posts on this, is there a setting i can set on my adobe account to permanently disable all AI features, prompts, mentions, and permissions on all my adobe products?I don't consent to you using any of my documents in AI building. I don't want prompts about an AI assistant i have no desire to use, i don't care about any of your new AI features. It's getting in the way of productivity having to turn this off constantly.It's at a point where i'm genuinely considering cancelling my account and searching for an alternative.

I want to combine files into one pdf-file, but I get the message:  "Quitting - Raise Without Handler!" Why does that appear?  And what can I do about it?

The issue persists already for several months. Unfortunately, did not notice when exactly started.  So we have Acrobat Pro, version 2022.003.20314 (64-bit), Windows 11. There are three issues: (1) After opening Acrobat (usually when you open a file, but sometimes when you just launch) in 15-20 sec the program freezes for about 10 sec. Then you can work normally and unless you open another pdf all is fine. (2) Almost always upon fully closing Acrobat task manager shows a process Acrobat.exe that is still running. This process takes 25-30% of CPU and remains forever unless you close it by End task. Sometimes, if you have opened and closed another instance of Acrobat without hanging the Acrobat.exe process, then a new background Acrobat.exe process appears. They all drain CPU eventually rising to 100%.(3) Adobe plug-in in Chrome and Edge is often not working. Either need to restart the PC or shutdown Acrobat.exe process numerous times.   Both (1) and (2)

HelloWe have several licences for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 acquired through Techsoup discounted software for non-profits.  We were given a string of serial numbers which we used and created Adobe IDs as per instructions we were given.  But the 'request for e-signatures' section does not appear on the desktop, we only ges these icons:this is the same for every install we have tried.  we are using the 32-bit version and installing on Windows 10 Pro 22H2:I have tried everything found online to try to get it to work:reinstalled several timesused acrocleanertried various registry changesdownloaded the latest installerbut nothing works.  We bought the software for the specific purpose of using the reuest for e-signatures option.  Can anyone please help?thanksMark

I designed a fillable PDF timesheet for construction workers to use and send to my client, their employer.  Of course PC users can fill in their timesheet, sign it and email it easily, using the buttons I created for them on the timesheet.  But not so for iPad and iPhone users.  Can iPad and iPhone users fill out and sign and email the timesheet without having a paid (subscription) Adobe account?
