I'm getting "an error has occurred which stopped the processing of the pdf" when trying to convert a PDF to a JPG. I tried different files and shortening the file name - with no luck. It stops working halfway through. Any ideas how to fix it? This is using the Adobe Acrobat web version, doing it the same way I've been doing for years until things stopped working a few days ago.

Hi, we have a propriatry insurance program that prints policy forms made from PDF templates, using FDF specifications to merge policy specific data into various forms.  The program was using FDF 1.3 specifications and Acrobat X standard to accomplish this and all worked fine. We're not doing anything really fancy, BTW,  just adding a signature line to certain forms as well as filling in specific form fields. We are, however, creating multi page documents and multi document "policy" booklets, sometimes in a batch were we prepare policy booklets for mulitiple customers in one big process.  Now that we are trying to move to the latest version of Acrobat (Pro), however, we've run into issues.  It seems that the /Pages <<>> and the /Templates <<>> arrays tags are no longer recognized correctly. When attempting to open a *.pdf file, the native Adobe Acrobat application starts as a background process, but the file itself does not open. Adobe PRO has been several times reinstalled.  Program has been fixed ( control panel > Programs and Features > Select Acrobat > Click on change and click on repair) But after checking the issue still occur. Can you advise on how to fix this?

Not helpful.  I just migrated to a new PC and loaded my DVD copy of Adobe Standard 2020 on it.  Now I can't log into it.  How do I get Adobe Standard installed on this new PC?  

In the last two weeks my adobe acrobat desktop version will not launch and will not open any pdfs.  The browser version is fine.  Adobe Creative Cloud says the desktop app is installed on my local computer.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice, but this has not fixed the issue.Background processes are created for adobe acrobat if I open task manager but no pdfs are open.  I have tried ending all these tasks, restart.  It seem that if I try to open desktop, it creates a background task but it does not execute the action.Using Adobe Pro DC v24.1 on Windows 11 24H2

I am creating a cookbook from scanned old recipes and having some difficulty. I scanned the pages into three separate pdf's. I have added table of contents entries for each page as the recipe name. this is what I am trying to do. 1. Combine the three pdfs into one pdf maintaining the TOC entries2. Sort the TOC alphabetically3. Create a table of contents page with pages numbers4. Add some artwork, mostly just a front and back cover5. Send it to a print service to create a book It seems this should all be pretty straight forward, but I was having issues with the pdf software I was using and decided to subscribe to Acrobat Pro as I assume Adobe is going to make my life easier?? All guidance will be gratly appreciated. I have installed a new Brother MFC-J6945DW..  This problem occurs when using the document feeder or the glass.  If I scan the document in the orientation clearly indicated on the device the page is roated 90 degrees and that potion of the dcan whic shows up inDC pro is correctly oriented.  How do I fix this?.

For a while now I've been trying to get a PDF file to work on my PC. I have used this file on my laptop before and initially thought the reason for the hanging/crashing was a corruption of the file. Now when I tried to download a "clean" version of that same file (article from a big research magazine, trusted file), the same thing happens every time. None the other people working with this same file have this problem. To explain what happens exactly: The file opens, I can scroll for about 3-6 seconds, adobe acrobat becomes unresponsive, I have no other option but to close Acrobat the hard way. These are the things I have tried: I deleted the Adobe Acrobat application and downloaded a clean version. Hello, I use the newest macbook air with adobe creative cloud via a studentabonnement in Belgium. Normally (at least I thought) everything is included in this subscrtiption and there are no limities. If I use adobe acrobat the logo of the AI assistent is not showing above. So I can not use it. I tried on several different documents. My usage language is in English and I have the newest version uptadet.  Can someone help me out with this?Thanks in advance. Greetings,

I am composing an email message in Outlook 365 where I attach a PDF, then make some edits in Acrobat. In previous versions of Acrobat (XI, specifically), Ctrl+S or the Save function would save the edited PDF to the email message that was being composed. Since I opened the file from the email composition, it makes sense that Acrobat would save it back to the same location without questioning my request. In Acrobat DC, however, the Save function (and Ctrl+S) brings up the "Save As" file prompt, defaulting to the temporary Outlook content folder where the file was being stored by Windows. This is ridiculous and does not match previous version behavior. I need to save my edits back to the email that I was composing. Is there a setting in Acrobat that is inadvertently causing this behavior? My current successful workaround is that if I do not click "Save", and simply exit Acrobat, the "save changes?" prompt will successfully save my edits to the PDF attachment in the email I am co

I have a small image in a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  I wish to click on image and have it open a large version of same image in jpeg file.  I then need a way of getting back to the original adobe.pdf

Hi all! - got a little scenario I need help solving, hoping some of you clever minds can help me!I have a bundle of files that will be delivered to me each week, these will be varying in page count from:34, 36, 38 & 40 pages (possibly more havent been told yet).I need these split into seperate folders based on the page count... Ideally I don't want to be doing this manually, opening each oneindividually, checking page count, then dragging over to a folder...I have an action set up for these already as pages need rotating, flattening ect, so my ideal outcome is to have some javascript that will execute as part of this workflow inside this action. It would count the pages, and move to a folder located on my mac. Not sure if this is possible, couldn't find much online! Thanks for the help in advanced!

AI Assistant not working and repeatedly showing error in a PDF 

Does anyone know if there's a way to "Enhance" multiple pdf's at once?  It's a great feature that you can do with recognize text but I need to enhance first before getting decent text extraction from these scanned pdf's with questionable quality.  I find it rather odd that the function exists for one but not the other. For myself these two things go hand and hand.  And only having the ability to do batch for one of those is pretty much useless for myself if if I have to do each file indivdually for the other.

Hi is it possible in any way to open password protected files when I cannot for the life of me remember the password they are important files and I just want into them! I have tried over the years various ways but no success.

Hi Team,  I use Adobe Reader DC too frequently for PDFs and digital signatures. But I have been facing an issue for the past 8 days. The app shuts down automatically after launching; sometimes, it doesn't even open. I have uninstalled it many times, but the result is the same. Also, I have updated my Windows and done whatever I could. Please, can someone help me here?

Just recently (about a week ago) one of our client started having issue with PDF. When they open 1st PDF, it opens immidentaly but, as soon as they start opening new 2nd, 3rd and many more adobe takes a long time to open the file. Not sure, if its the new update but, I tried installing latest version and then disabled the new version to get back to old version. Steps I have taken are disabling Enhanced security and Use page cache. Please help!!

Hi, I am based in the UK and have just purchased a few licenses of Adobe Standard DC within Teams. When I send a document for e-sginature, the date format under the e-signatures shows as MMM-DD-YYYY (example, Dec 16, 2024) and the date format shown in the Final Audit Report is YYYY-MM-DD (example, 2024-12-16). Since I am in the UK, I need all formats to be in DD-MM-YYYY (example, 16-12-2024 or 16 Dec 2024). How do I change it to the UK format?

I have an interactive PDF with many buttons, when I hover over a button a block of text appears. I would need that text and be able to copy and paste it. Is there a way I can easily extract the texts? I have already tried exporting to Word, HTML, ... but then only what is visible is exported.

For god sake, I can't find a way to make this new AI clippy wannabe go away. Please help removing the AI assistant. It's a massive distraction and frustration having to interact with this garbage nobody needs. Seconly, Adobe doesn't have to know what's in every PDF I open. What is this STASI program? There's no option to opt out, it's tyrrany under corporate jurisdiction.
