two 18"x24" images put side-by-side in MS Paint, what Adobe Acrobat 2020 settings Arch E Oversize

Have tried seemingly every combination of settings and nothing works for getting two 18x24" images (combined into 1 image using Paint) to print out Arch E Oversize 36"x48". Have tried printing from Paint and Acrobat, but both continue to print incorrect sizes. What are the correct settings in either Paint or Acrobat to make this happen?
