Questions

I received this from a designer who will not share the source files, and I need to manipulate the legal information on the product label, so I'm not able to change things. I'm trying to re-create this effect. Can anyone advise how best to go about it? I have the typeface as well as the colors and gradients, but I can't figure out how to replicate the styling that is applied (images were given to me as "outlined" instead of working/editable text)From what I can tell, there are two text layers - perhaps the original (Domain Display, Extra Bold) and a second (regular) behind it, slightly offset, and given the gold color. But the "backdrop shadow" characters are not complete - you can see that the gold serifs below the P, R, E, to the right of the E, S etc. do not connect to the rest of the gold outlines. What would be the most practical way to emulate this?

Hi there,so i just started with typography etc. a couple of weeks ago. I now wanted to turn my handwriting into a font. As a font editor I'm using type 3.2. My plan was to vectorize my letters, save them as a svg and import them to type 3.2.To do that, I wanted to use the live tracing tool. Unfortunately it takes all the texture of my letters away. I tried all kind of different settings, but nothing worked...I'm just wondering how professionals keep this "textured" look in their fonts, e.g. this one: File “Script Fonts Product Images ~ Wild Spirit Font… ~ Creative M...”http://take.ms/HzcRuThis is how my letters look like: File “svg.svg_ @ 50% (CMYK_GPU Preview) 2017-03-24 23.18.14.png” When I trace them, this is how they look like (the very best): File “svg.svg_ @ 50% (CMYK_GPU Preview) 2017-03-24 23.22.26.png” The image of the letters is 5500 x 3000 and almost 3mb big - so I don't think the solution is the problem?I appreciate any tips, advice or ideas!Cheers,Sinikka

I've tried the various search engines. They get close but almost all of them miss the gap with the "A" and "D"

It prints and pdfs fine, it is just how it appears in Word. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. My IT person thinks that it is a problem with the way Word and Adobe interact. I rely on this font as it is a company branding issue. I cannot format in Word because the font doesn't appear correctly. I have tried deleting the pfm and pfb fonts from the computer. I have tried reinstalling all fonts manually as well as deleting repetitive font names manually. Nothing seems to work. See below for an example. I can't imagine why this font would appear in Adobe programs just fine, but only seems to have an issue in Word 2013. This is the third machine I have had this problem with. I am at my wits end. I am not sure how to fix this problem. Any suggestions?

My PC won't support Helvetica Neue, but I need it for a project. Can I download it to Typekit instead of having to install it on my computer? Is there a way to legally download Helvetica Neue to my PC?

Our company develop a software program that is used Noto Sans CJK KR font.When we executed the software  program on PC for development, it worked well.But on PC for distribution, it didn't work.development environment- Visual Studio 2012- .NET Framework 4.6- WPFspecifications PC for development- Windows 7 Enterprise k- Korean OS- install Noto Sans CJK KR fontspecifications PC for distribution- Windows 7 Ultimate- English OS- install Noto Sans CJK KR font** A software program with MFC that is also used Noto Sans CJK KR font worked well on PC for development.    Other OTF Font except Noto Sans CJK KR font  is not problem.

Hello, I would like to use Trajan Pro 3 Regular as the title font in a short film that I am making. The film is destined for festivals but there is the possibility of it getting on TV in the UK.Am I just free to buy it from the TypeKit website or are there additional licensing issues? I have read that Adobe don't deal with some of this now and I may need to buy it from a partner like MyFonts or Fontspring. Am I correct in any of this? Will I be allowed to use it?Thank you.

I have Adobe in design via Creative cloud. Just used it on my desktop to create a document (Window's 10) - want to discuss some changes with a realtive. So, installed InDesign on my surface Pro (Widows 10 again) - installed no problem. Then save the InDesign file from my desktop and opened it on surface Pro......all the fonts have dissapeared.The fonts don't seem to've installed on my surface pro when I downloaded InDesign...no idea why not as I have done nothing but use the CC app on both machines.This is actually an order of service for a family funeral.....there is no real way to describe how annoying and inconvienient this is. Never entered my head that a problem like this would crop up. Does anyone have any idea why this may have happened and is there a quick way to ensure that CC installs the fonts??CheersStuart

Hello everyone I need to know how to manage my 6500 fonts (including families) - "and yes I like them all"Is there a way to see them even deactivated on some softwares like Photoshop/ Illustrator and InDesign? Because every time I reopen them they seem to crash every time I try to use the type tool.. I though about converting them into some other type of files like vectors but it would be hard to work with that, I think..Anyone??p.s.the worst thing is when we "deactivate" them they stop showing on the softwares like Photoshop and so on, I'm gonna have to create a suitcase for them

Does anyone know what font is used in this logo? It was converted to outlines by the designer, but I need to be able to create other versions, and I can no longer get in contact with the designer. I thought it was Calibri, but it's slightly different. Thank you in advance!

Hi guys,I have the same problem in InDesign&Ilustrator (both CS4) and was wondering, if it were possible to view glyphs as a whole somehow.When I, for example, use certain script fonts, I never get to see the swashes or anything outside their tiny little glyph box.After trying to solve my problem in another thread in the Illustrator forums, I came to the conclusion this is impossible in any Adobe software. Is there an external tool that can help me? I'm on a Windows x64 machineTo illustrate my problem:"O" in glyphs panel vs. realityalternates for "f" in glyphs panel:All utterly useless, and I use several of such types of fonts constantly. Unbearable. Please help I'm using several screens, so I don't care about screen estate. I just want to see what I'm doing.Thanks!

Hello. Our client would like to use Minion Black for his Online project. The problem is that Minion Black does not have a Cyrillic version. The client has professional resources to create the cyrillic version himself and use it exclusively only for this particular project. He has no intentions to sell it or gain any commercial profit out of it. Is he allowed to do this? And what kind of licence should he get? Thank you.

Looking for these two fonts here OR closest to that I could modify. Also what effect can I use to emulate the hand painted drop shadow?1. First font is sign painter's block or gothic - Baron Neue is the closest I can find currently.2. Mother board failed. Had to get new machine with Windows 10. Adobe programs transferred and are working.Adobe Type manager deluxe does not work with Win10. Is there a substitute or new release?I have a lot of Adobe fonts in a "Font" folder that Creative Suite 6 can not seem to find. They are on the Computer they just do not appear in the programs.Most of these are old fonts on 3.5" disks. How can I get these on to the computer without installing a 3.5" drive?Help Don
