I've had CC membership for a few months now and have downloaded it onto first a laptop then a desktop. I'm having trouble on the desktop. When I try to access and download typekit fonts through an application or creative cloud, I'm getting a message come up saying "internet explorer has stopped working" and the typekit website does not open properly. I'm therefore unable to access or browse for fonts. The typekit website does not respond and a message comes up saying so. Using windows 8 I can access internet explorer through the Apps page, and browse fonts that way, but it is frustrating and inconvenient not being able to go direct to the website through an adobe application or through creative cloud. Anyone ideas why? Appreciate any help, thanks.

I just purchased Trade Gothic Roman font via Adobe.com and when I downloaded it, it was just regular Trade Gothic

We have a situation where our identity font is displaying terribly in MS Word 2010 on Windows 7. The font looks great in InDesign and Illustrator. The font family is OpenType with PostScript outlines, aka CFF. This behavior is consistent for any OpenType font from Adobe, such as Myriad Pro or Adobe Garamond.I am nearly certain that the Windows font rendering engine is optimized for TrueType outlines and renders PostScript outlines poorly. I also think that Adobe is using a different rendering engine for the Creative Suite applications, perhaps their own. I have not been able to find any specific documentation of these statements.Does this ring true? Does anyone know of specific documentation of poor font rendering in Windows applications, especially MS Office?

when i using Muse, how can i select "web safe fonts" in korean font?there are only english web safe fonts in muse.so i can't select national language(korean) in web safe fonts...a there any updates about this..?now in muse, i always using korean fonts in image;;

on win8, after purchasing and downloading adobe Garamond Pro font, you can install by right clicking the file and selecting install. that procedure does not seem to work on win7. please help

Hi,I have a question concerning the commercial usage of the fonts incorporated in Illustrator. Is it legal to use  them (after converted into outlines) for creating stock vectors and then selling them on stockphotos/designs web pages? If I have purchased the product itself, do I have to purchse also the embedded fonts separately in order to create files for commercial purposes? I would be grateful if you could provide me a clear and concreate answer. I have been searching for a month to get a response and I haven't found it yet. Thank you very much for your precious help.

Hello,I've activated my creative cloud and synced  typekit with my computer but the now the font but they are not displayed right as you know with arabic text.I thought that creative cloud supported arabic text.

I've sent several emails today to support@typekit.com and have gotten no response.They do seem to monitor their twitter feed, and were somewhat responsive yesterday after a public mention of lack-luster response there.Can Typekit support at the very least set up an auto-response so that you at least get the impression that they've recieved your email?

how can i install helvatica on illustrator cs6 on windows 7 ?

I purchased the font "Fette Fraktur" from the Adobe website several days ago, yet my account page still shows a message to the effect that my order is being processed and that it may take as much as 24 hours(!?).  I hit the download button anyway and now have a file (17104860) in my downloads file.Q:  How do I install this file in my Windows fonts list?  Whenever I have purchased fonts online from other vendors, they have automatically installed into Windows, so I'm afraid I don't know how to do it manually.Please advise.tcpadobe

I am developing a website and using Typekit and DIN. On hover, I am getting odd gray shadowing. See images. Anyone else get this? Anyone have a fix?

I need a web license to use Wendy Standard Medium on a single client site. Is this possible? I only see desktop format available and Wendy Std is not listed in Typekit.

Mr. Dov Isaacs and other crew, Thank you all for so simple answers on forum, you are the best because something complicated you answer on a simple way,  but I have one more question. As you said buying licence means that we are able to use font for design, print, etc. but if we are designing let say watermark for photo, because I am hobby photographer, not selling anything but like to design watermarks for my photos. Is it ok to add or attach ornament to letter, let say if I am using letter M inside some font is it ok if I attach flower to left leg of M, or ornament or anything, not changing software or anything else just adding something that is representing things that I do?

Hii would like to purchase some fonts from Adobe and use them for text in my commercial online videos that people get paid access to watch. These fonts have embedding permission of Print and Preview. Please let me know whether this use infringes the license agreement or not.RegardsIqbal Singh

We are recreating an old package. As shown below, the printed message (whatever it says) appears twice, and the glyphs (mostly) match, so I doubt the red-circled ones are merely distortions or misprints (see explanation below -- I could be wrong).My first thought was that it was Cyrillic. But there are two glyphs (circled in red) that do not appear in any Cyrillic, or Open Type font glyph sets that I can find. There is another (?) glyph (circled in green) where I am not sure if it is a separate glyph, or a print blob and a glyph.I have had no luck at the usual suspects; whatthefont forum, etc.If anyone can point me to a language / alphabet, or a font contining the glyphs I would be very appreciative.Thanks for looking at this.--OB

I can't find an 'Unsubscribe' button,  Where is it?

I use Adobe Creative Cloud on an IMAC 21.5"/GT750M. Yesterday, I purchased Adobe Wood Type Std. Regular (Mac/Win, English). I installed this font by dragging it to the Font Book. The font is showing up on the font menu in Indesign, but most of the characters are showing up as black ovals or open rectangles with slashes. What have I done wrong? How can I get this font to work? Have I downloaded the wrong version for my computer/software?

I mistakingly already asked this question through a reply to Herring's post/question.  I do apologise for that. I am still in desperate need of help with the name of the font below.  Any guesses are appreciated!!  ....and thanks ahead of time for your time and understanding.

I'm intending to use Arabic Myriad for our next project and I was stting up the styles when I realised that there are serious problems with this font. Some ligatures are wrong and diacritics are overlapping some letters. Can anybody let me know if they have the same problem? Could it be that a newer version of the font available with these problems fixed up? Is there a way to report these problem to Adobe to get them fixed?Michel

I've been trying to browse typefaces at the Adobe site. When you click on the type of typefaces a new mini window opens up called the Adobe Type Showroom. Message at bottom says it is loading, or similar wording. After 30 seconds nothing happens, it just stops and doesn't load. Works exactly the same on my Mac as on my Windows 7 machine. Great job, Adobe. One would never know you are one of the major tech companies in the world.Can't you get your software to function better than this?

I used to be able to add fonts I purchased by copying the files to "c drive: program files\ common files\ Adobe \ THERE USED TO BE A "FONT" FILE.

I have small problem with the way type-kit fonts are being displayed once the pages using thenm are uploaded to remote server. They are basically viewing much heavier when uploaded to remote server which is causing problems with layout.Can anyone shed any light on to why this happens and is there a FIX?Any help is appreciated!Attached is a screen shot to show the difference.
