RoboHelp 2019 New UI I created a topic that contains a procedure with steps. The first three steps are snippets (since they are shared between procedures), where the <ol> item for each snippet is defned for the associated number 1-3.  The remaining steps are plain topic content, starting with <ol> = 4. The preview and HTML5 output show the steps correctly, starting with step numbered 1 and the remaining steps numbered correctly as 2-9.When I generate the output to PDF, all the steps appear correctly (1-9)When I generate the output to MS Word, all the steps appear as "1." I need to generate MS Word because I need to tell the page breaks NOT to break at each Heading 1. 

Hi, Everyone. Is there a way to give the end user navigation controls when they're viewing my RH handbook in full-screen mode? Similarly, even when the TOC is displayed, I'd like to place navigation buttons for "Next Page" and "Previous Page" somewhere handy. Thank you!

Hi, Everyone. I'm confused about adding a new page to a book in TOC editing view (or Contents view). When I click the "new page" button, the new page dialog opens (see screenshot, below). But the only options are to use an existing project file, a file from my computer ("Local file"), a webpage, or an email. Is there no way to just create a brand new page -- I mean, without utilizing some existing file? Thank you! 

Hi, Everyone. I'm working in RH 2019 (new UI). Can you think of a way to require each end user to choose a Dynamic Content Filter when they first open my RH handbook?   Some way to create a "gate," right when the handbook is opened, requiring the user to choose "Contractor" vs. "Employee" (see screenshot) before they can access the handbook's content? Thank you, appreciate hearing any ideas you might have.     

RoboHelp 2019 New UI I have set up topic links to folders in my project TOC and when output to ResponsiveHTML5, the links work fine.  But, when I produce a CHM of the same TOC, two of the folders are unresponsive and do not show the topic. All of the linked topics just consist of a single JPG.  I don't see any difference in the topics such that only 2 would not display (see image).  

In RoboHelp 2019 version I'm trying to create a TOC book that is linked to a topic such that when I click on the book, the page that it is linked to appears on the right.In the new 2019 version, I don't see the 'Link to topic' check box. When I right-click the book and select Link File, I get an Application Error pop-up. See images attached.      

RoboHelp 2019 I brought a PDF in as a linked file and TOC'd it as a file. In the ResponsiveHTML5 output, the PDF opens in a browser as expected and find the search term, but the term does not appear highlighted.  I have tried this is Chrome and IE.   I have also checked that highlighting is selected as a property in the Word doc when saving as PDF.How do I get the search terms to appear highlighted in the results when searched in RoboHelp?

After searching a word in the seach bar, no search results appeared for the particular word.The problem is that, no result window/sidebar is closed only by clicking the TOCHow will i rectify it?

Hi, I downloaded RoboHelp 2019 (free trial) since our company had Robohelp 9 and then had problems with generate a printed docmentation, it only worked to generate microsoft HTML help and we need both, it always says that we need Word 2000 or later and that we have. So i thaught we should try 2019 to see if we just had a to old version of robohelp but now when i try to generate a printed documentation it says error failed to generare printed documentation but I cant see what the problem is. Do you have any solution? I need to know that it will work before we buy the product.ThanksAnna

I'm sorry if this is an easy thing to do. I was able to do this in RH2017, but in RH2019, how do I add a URL to the logo and the title in the Header for Azure_Blue skin? Please see screenshot below.

I created Japanese CHM with RoboHelp 2019. I can view the CHM,but can't search text. How come? I can search alphabets and numbers. but can't search Japanese characters.

Hello, I am a pest on this forum but I need some more help.  I am attempting to insert a Captivate Demo (2019)  HTML5 into a RH 2019 (Full) topic.  Process: Imported Adobe Captivate Demo by selecting index.html from the output folder. RoboHelp creates the zipped .cpz format. I insert Multimedia > Adobe Captivate Demo and select the imported video. Publish Responsive HTML5 Layout RoboHelp to RoboHelp Server 10. Problem Results: Captivate Demo is not playing the project's audio file. The navigation and the playbar work fine just no audio and therefore, no closed captioning. Questions: How do I manage the sizing of the video within a topic?  I set the video size but wanted the video to play in full screen when selected.  

I have robohelp8 projects but now we only have robohelp2017 program. Where can I find information on how to navigate this migration? What would be needed to convert robohelp8 projects to robohelp2017 chm files? 

We try to export from Robohelp 2019.0.12 to HTML5, but if we choose GERMAN Language, the export does not start. If we choose ENGLISH. It works.  Where is our mistake?   Thanks for a quick help.    

RoboHelp 2019I have inserted an image right after number 4 in my numbered list and, of couse, the image was numbered "5."  I right-clicked the image and selected "Remove List" and the numbering was removed. However, the next item is numbered "1" and I need it to continue as "5." On Peter Grainge's site it says to continue the numbering "click in the list and in Properties > General you will see Restart Numbering." I don't have this option. And, I want to continue the numbering scheme, not restart it.

From time to time, while testing WebHelp from my application after help request I am getting help window with a proper title but instead of the help topic, help displays the content of the WebHelp folder. I am not getting any detailed information about an error. 

Hello, I am running RH 2019.0.12 latest and publishing to RH 10 Server with Indigo layout. Updated content and published recently and now Search runs endlessly without finding results. Solutions tried so far: Added a New Responsive HTML5 Layout Added a New Indigo Skin Restarted RH Server 10 Tried multiple browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) Fails on all Cleared Cache Other tests included: Other Indigo HTML5 Projects Work Any other suggestions?  

The help file I open from my PC displays the Search pane correctly. When we publish on the public Internet page, however, it changes the interface to this:  Can this be fixed?

Hi RH 2019 does not continue the list number if an image is inserted between two numbered lists.I have created a style for multi listing. It works perfectly if the listing is not interrupted by an image or even a paragraph. Once an image is inserted the numbering restarts at 1.Does RH 2019 continue the list numbering without using the Restart Numbering option? If I recall correctly, RH 2017 did not have this issue and multi-listing worked perfectly.   Regards Siju

Hello,I have upgraded a number of RoboHelp 2017 Projects to RoboHelp 2019 Classic and then to RoboHelp 2019 Full. Only one project is giving me issues when generating.  It never gets past the Responsive HTML5 Indexing References state.  I click the i for more information but nothing opens. Any suggestions?Thanks, stay safe and healthy.Julie

This might be a newbie question, but I'm just getting my rather large help project into the non-classic version of RoboHelp2019. I updated a screen shot in my help, but it did  not appear to update in RH. It didn't update even when I removed the old graphic and placed what should have been the new one. The html looks like I'm referencing the grahic, so why doesn't it update? Thank you!Cindy 

Hello, I use Robohelp 2019 and am creating a frameless output.  By the very nature of frameless output, my imported PDFs open outside the project frame (in a new tab). I have embedded analytics on my Robohelp topic pages (via the master page). But since PDFs open outside the project, I am unable to run analytics on the PDF pages accessed by a customer (especially if they're accessed via Search). Is there a way to monitor hits on PDF pages if they are accessed via Search? How do you all monitor hits on your PDFs? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your replies. 

I have created a topic that contains a link to a PDF document. No matter which display setting I apply to the PDF hyperlink, the PDF document opens in a new tab. It does not open within the display frame of the project (the skin). It is difficult to navigate back to the topic or home page from the new tab (as it contains only the open PDF without any other trimmings of the project I am building). How do I get the linked PDF to appear within the frame of my project (and not in a new tab)? Steps I took:1. Created a topic2. Added an image with a hyperlink to the PDF document3. Rt-click on image with hyperlink > Edit hyperlink4. In the Link to window, under Display in, I have selected Frame > Parent Frame.(Here, I have tried Frame > New Window, Frame > Same Frame, Frame > Whole Page, but nothing worked).
