I'm using RH 2019 Classic (14.0.12.0). All of my conditional build tag expression definitions in my HTML5 outputs have been switched to Advanced (I was only using Basic before) and I can't switch them back. Not only that, they're wrong.   In the picture above, the red box shows that the Basic radio button isn't active.  If I create a new definition in an existing output, I can build it using a Basic expression and save the expression, but I can't apply it.  In the picture above, the Update button never becomes active for the new expression.  In fact, trying to update the conditional build tag expression for any existing output won't work. Hi all,Like many of us these days I'm working from home remotely over a VPN. My projects are created in Robohelp 2019  Classic (which has the latest updates installed), and they are all on my C drive in the office. My problem is that every time I try to preview a topic OR do anything at all with a snippet, the application crashes.  These were working ok when I was last in the office. I did occasionally work from home too in the past and they were fine then.  Obviously I can generate the project to preview a topic but this is time consuming. I can also copy existing snippets (which we change to HTML text once in place - we only use them for the note/caution icon associated with them) - but this is also more long-winded. Can anyone help or is this just something I'll have to put up with until I'm back in the office?ThanksLaura

HiI am using RH 2019 Frameless skin and I would like to know if it is possible to increase the Mini TOC item-level count in Topic Page > Mini TOC. By default, RH provides item-level 1 to item -level 6.I have a topic with 7 headings and in the output at the right hand pane that contains the Mini TOC, only 6 headings are highlighted as I scroll through the page and the last heading though displayed is not highlighted.In Layout > Mini TOC, I have set "Use Headings from" 1 to 6. As per my understanding the headings are not highlighted because RH 2019 provides only 6 item - level count. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello,Can I use common assets to my projects?My project consists of  merged chm projects in a main chm project, consisting in 34 separate subprojects, this in 3 languages.All of them contain an enormous bunch of duplicate files:a css sheet, logo's, symbols.They are replicated around a 100 times troughout the files.I fear the moment something changes....I plan to move to RH2019 (modern) once pressure is gone to advance with the real work. If it is possible in that version I would be happy too. best regardsOlivier 

I wish to add URL links in the title bar (such as Home, Applications, Tasks, Contacts) - placed horizontally across the title bar and equidistant from each other). For example, if you go to the Microsoft homepage (this is an example only) - you see the applications listed across the top horizontal bar next to the logo. How do I add such links to a title bar in a Frameless skin being created in Robohelp 2019? Please help.   

I need to use the help project for mobile and add steps for Andriod and iOS devices. Is there a way to include tabs or collapsible sections within the help page like in this screenshot from Twitter? As, we need to apply switcher based on device. I can only find expanding text.

Is there a trick to getting the alphabet to display in the Index pane in Responsive output? i can get it to show when I ensmallen* the browser window, but not when large enough to show in desktop view.   * make tablet or phone sized

I was wondering how folks in our RH community create your best way of "Back to Top" feature. I would like to efficiently create a "Back to Top" link in multiple places on my usually very long topic, so user are used to seeing Back to Top link when they start scrolling down the topic. I'm using RH 2019.0.12. I have lots of numbered lists of steps with paragraphs of content that fall beneath them:   Everything aligns perfectly until the step numbering goes to double digits and then things fall out of alignment (shown in Step 10 above).  This is what my CSS looks like:   I suspect this has something to do with the padding-right value, but I'm unsure how to fix it. Everything I've tried seems to only affect the space between the decimal following the integer and the step's content, which just recreates the problem.  I did not have this problem in RH 2019 Classic. That CSS looks like:   I tried adding these values into my new CSS, but I'm pretty unfamiliar with this format and it did not give me the desired results (probably due to user error). Is there a way to fix this alignment issue? Hi everyone, I use Robohelp for many years now and recently updated to RH1019.12 . In our Microsoft HTML help output we use lots of graphics with image maps to let user select his topic of interest on a dialog for example. Quite often, when updating the graphics, the related image map areas need to be moved and/or resized due to changes on the graphics. Doing this using the mouse cursor is painfull and takes ages to get correct location and size, especially when trying the re-align the image map areas. In earlier versions (RH2017, or in RH2019 Classic) one could select the imgae map by cursor, then move or resize using the arrow keys in combination with the SHIFT button. This is not possible any more in new RH2019 HTML interface. Is thiS  a bug or by design ? Or maybe there's a smart workaround (other than directly editing html code). any help appreciated 

Hi - I have 2019 and using Oceanic skin with the Framless WebHelp Output. The TOC has 16 Folders (books). In only one folder all the Topic pages are missing the container panels. They are only showing the Center Panel (middle section).  

Hi, Does RH support Hindi language?If not, is there work around of using Hindi language. We have clear requirements from client to provide content in Hindi language. 

If you have just upgraded your project and you can't get it to generate for a first time, check that the Default Topic field in your output preset has the correct topic selected and does not say "First_Topic.htm".   I'm doing some tests upgrading old Multiscreen HTML5 projects, and the Default Topic does not transfer across, instead changing to the default file for a brand new blank project.

I uploaded to my RoboHelp project my company's logo that was created for black/dark background as is in the Skin Header. It is visible in RoboHelp project skin. The Header height is 60 (I understand this cannot be configured). My image is 100 px (width) and 57 px (height) and I entered the logo width as 100 px (i.e. under the Header>Logo>uploaded logo option.However, when the project is generated and displayed in the browser, it isn't visible (see image: HTML5 output preview in browser). It doesn't matter if the image is a jpeg or png; I tried both. What am I doing wrong?

I would like to create a On This Page TOC or Links on each topic in which Heading 2 or Heading 3 sub-sections are listed in the top right corner of the topic allowing the user to "jump" to these sub-sections and not have to scroll down and read the whole topic in order to find them.

I have imported a 40 page Word document into Robohelp 2019. This Word doc was originally in landscape, however the output of RoboHelp is in portrait, resulting in cutting off images and tables.  How can I change the orientation of the page in the output Word or PDF? 

Hi have many, many graphics of toolbar icons set to 26 x 26 px. In my text, I want to link the text that identifies each icon so that a popup opens and the user sees the icon in the popup. When I add a hyperlink  to the text and then select custom-sized popup, I set the height and width of the popup to 30px, BUT, this works only for the height - the width refuses to budge below some pre-defined value that I cannot figure out for the life of me what it is even though my code view shows 30 px. I have attached a picture to demonstrate this. This is driving me buggy because (1) it shows the popup borders, which I don't and (2) it looks like crap in the output. I just want the icon to be displayed in what appears to the user's eye to be just the icon - i.e., not in any container that shows borders. Any thoughts of how to deal w/ this?   Moderator: Image added to body.

I created a new style that would indent under a numbered list or bulleted list item (used for aligning pictures under the text of the list item or the result text under the list item). I put the style in the Paragraph styles (p.list.continue) and Div Styles (div.list.continue). However, selecting it as a div style doesn't format as it should and as a paragraph style doesn't even appear in the Topic Style panel.The only way I could make the text or picture format as formatted in the style was to work in the source code. For example:<li>Enter a name for the case in the Case Name box.<div class="list">Enter a short description about the case in the Description box.</div><div class="note"><strong>Note:</strong> The description is for your information and identification. It will not appear in the exported case.</div></li> This kind of defeats the purpose of having a user-friendly, easy to use application if you have to work in the source

I have the latest RH 2017 and Word Version 2002 (12527.20278) from Office 365 RoboHelpers,In RH, I'm trying to create a new folder and chapter in an existing RH project. I'm interested in importing just the structure from Word to get the topics created for this new chapter. (I'll add the actual documentation into each topic later.) To that end, the Word document I'm importing only contains the headings. The topics import fine.But the TOC is empty. I've created the TOC in the word document with the desired 4 TOC headings. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Admittedly, it's been a while since I've had to import something from Word but I think I'm doing it right. Any thoughts are appreciated. Hey,   We are currently using RH2019 update 10, with a rather large project (~2300 topics). After initiating a search and clicking on a result, we are getting a huge performance drop... load times being between 200 secs to just crashing the browser (Chrome 79.0.3945.117, IE11). We have also tested and observed this issue with update 9 of RH2019.   This is only an issue in the Frameless output as we were able to generate a Responsive HTML5 output and had no issues with the search.   This doens't seem to be an issue with lunr doing the search but something within the Robohelp functions that gets executed once a page is loaded with ?rhsearch=something in the url.   Is anyone else experiencing this type of slowness with the new frameless skin?
