Hello,I'm attempting to generate a mobile app from RoboHelp 2015 and keep receiving a C++ runtime error.  The error specifically occurs when the app is being zipped and then uploaded to PhoneGap's servers, which is at the very end of the process.I have tried:Re-installing RoboHelp 2015Generating a new project (still results in the same error)Generating using a different computerDeleting my network profile and rebuildingReplacing the RoboHelp Regedit fileDeleting the Microsoft Runtime LibrariesProbably much more.I did generate the project as a Responsive HTML file and then zip it and upload to Phone Gap.  This was successful except that the navigation did not work as expected as an App.  The topics all pointed to the start topic instead of their own.Any help here is appreciated, as always.

I am using RH 2015 with the latest updates installed, and Word 2016.RH stops working every time I attempt to generate a .doc. It prepares the files, clears the output directory and creates a tmp directory. Then it stops and displays the message "Adobe RoboHelp 2015 has stopped working" and the only thing I can do is to close RH.Attempting to generate a PDF fails in the same way. Webhelp and responsive HTML5 are generated without problems.The project is on my C drive. It is set up as a child in a merged project.This is the first time I have tried to generate a doc so there might be a problem in the way RH and/or Word are set up.Does anybody have any ideas? Hello,I have a topic in Project A that I would like to import into Project B. When I work in project B and click on Import and look at the list of topics in project A, I do not see the topic I need. However, if I open project A, I can see the topic in Project Manager. The topic correctly opens and is displayed in the TOC. I'm not sure what's happening or how to fix this. I'm reluctant to experiment as I have gotten myself in trouble moving topics outside of the project before.Thanks,MDawn

I'm using Adobe 2015 to publish Responsive HTML5 to RoboHelp Server 10.When I publish the project, it seems to name the file the name of the project. So, if my project is named Cool_Blue, it published it under Cool_Blue. Is there anyway to change that name? I know that in WebHelp Pro you can define the name differently. I've looked everywhere and can't find how to do it so any assistance would be appreciated.Thanks,Nita

I'm using Robohelp 11 and we display our content as microsoft HTML help.  I am wondering how to edit the content of the home button on the top of the page next to the forward and back buttons.  Since it's HTML Help I cannot use a skin to change the buttons but I need to change what displays when the home button is clicked.  I can't find how to change where the button links to.  I would just like to link it to our home topic.Thanks!Matthew

When you use following code you can open a page xxx.htm and jump directly to a part of the screen. I link a word-document to a project of Robohelp.When attempting to create a map-id (.h-file), you see in the right pane items such asxxxxxxxx#yyyy I assumed that xxxx#yyyy opens the topic xxxx and jumps into the topic to the item yyyy. (according to the html-code above).When I use the view-button, xxxx and xxxx#yyyy, the result is the same. I am using Responsive HTML5 output in RoboHelp HTML 11. (12.0.3.428)I used the Charcoal_Grey layout that came with the program. I want the output to reflect the Arial 11 pt font that is in the Style Sheet. I can see no way to change the content font in the layout. All content output seems to be Times New Roman 10 point.

I'm having an issue with getting the online help to open in Edge. I'm using RH 10. The html help works fine on Firefox, Chrome, and IE, but not on Edge. I don't have it installed on my machine, but one of the developers at work tried to open it on his machine and it would not open at all. Well, actually it opens to a totally blank page.The only info I have is what the developer said. He sent me the following info:During the investigation of issue, it's found our help page %ROOT%\docs\start.htm can't be opened with Microsoft Edge. Dear forum members,I am using RH 2015 to create a CHM from a linked Word 2013 document. When I create the index with the wizard I notice that keywords appearing in the topics as hyperlinks will not be included in the index. Does anyone know how to make RH include those keywords?Many thanks,Frits

When trying to compile WebHelp output, I'm getting blank results. From the log, I'm seeing this: Finished updating HTML topics in 0 sec(s) : total 0 topic(s). I've never had this issue before. Searched the web and got one result on the RoboHelp Server forum but it wasn't related to this issue.

Good afternoon.We have a topic with a link to an Excel spreadsheet that was added to the Baggage Files folder.We are thinking about replacing all the RoboHelp tables with spreadsheets added as baggage files because the tables don't convert well to PDF and are not easily sortable.We often use Create PDF for Review to provide reasonable-looking output for internal reviews and to some customers. (For two years we've not been able to successfully generate Word or PDF documents using an SSL. Adobe thinks it's got something to do with communication between TFS/Source Control and RoboHelp.) So I decided to see whether linking to a spreadsheet would work.In the PDF, I click the link and nothing happens.Does anyone know how to make the link open the spreadsheet?Thank you.Carol

When I press Ctrl+S, the save can take up to 20 seconds; if I click the interface during that time, I'll get the NOT RESPONDING notification from Windows 7 Enterprise.The later in the day, the longer the saves. Closing and opening Rh does not shorten the save times and neither does rebooting Windows.Rh is installed on my C: drive and my project is on my own E: drive. I tried moving the project to my C: drive but there was no improvement.There is no difference between saving a one-character change with one topic open or saving more changes with more topics open.We have been using git for version control for many years, but the slow saves have been going on for only a couple of weeks.I do not have a backup program running on my workstation.I suspect that this has something to do with Windows 7, but Rh2015 is the only app that's been suffering from slow saves. What's Rh2015 doing during saves that is sooooo hard to do quickly? What software package did Microsoft release within the last 30

Hi,I have generated an output using Responsive HTML5 with Charcoal Grey as the skin choice.My company wants the Search Engine to be implemented within the Topic which happens to be my front page (Index.htm). Does RoboHelp support the implementation of Search Engine within the Topic (Index.htm)?

I am currently running Adobe Robohelp version 10.  I have several different RH files that I manage (desk procedures) and in each of the ones that I manage, my latest publishings have broken search functions.  What I mean by broke: it will search some words just fine, but others that I know are in my desk procedures show "no topics found".   Some of my files are published using webhelp and some webhelp pro, with the same problem.I have done the following:1) Gone back to a backed up file dated 05/01/2014 (that the search seems to be working just fine in) and done edits to it, published and it breaks the search.2) I have gone back to the working 05/01/2014 file and done nothing to it except publish it and it breaks.3) Checked the button to clear the cache4) From Webhelp Settings Option I have:·         Changed output folder that it publishes to (which is on a local drive before I transfer it to the network drive)·  &nbs

I’m having trouble changing the skin applied to my WebHelp project in RoboHelp 2015. I have a project with a corporate skin applied. Now I need to use an entirely different skin (not a modified version of my existing skin). How do I apply the new skin to my project? I have the new skin in the Skin Gallery and I can select it from the Output Settings. When I generate the help I get the old look and feel. My current skin is NOT in the gallery and I cannot select it in the Output Settings but it is always applied to the project. So how do I change the skin used?This cannot be that hard to do. The help says that after the skin is in the gallery I can select it and use it for the output. Not that I can tell.

Can you tell me what the difference in Responsive HTML5 and Multiscreen HTML5 is? I googled and both say they are good for viewing documentation on multiple devices. Which is most correct to use for viewing across many platforms?Thank you,Michele

Using Robohelp 9, Baggage files have been added to project and links created to them but linked baggage files will not open when project is generated.  Using local drive and have attempted display in IE10, IE10 (compatability mode), IE9, IE8 but get same result.

Hello everyone,I have a user manual that is more than 400 pages long, its style is really simple and singular in every single page. Yet whenever I try to import it within Robohelp it slows down and stays a long time, then stops working.I tried the same thing with the PDF version of the document but it also crashes.Is that a general problem with Robohelp and long Word and PDF files or what exactly?RH 2015 worked well when I imported a 63 page Word document, so I was wondering whether it is possible to divide a document this big to many pieces and then put them together with the same TOC, and how can I do that efficiently?Thanks a lot in advance!A

Hi,In Robohelp 12.0.3 release, cross references to illustrations (in the document or in tha table of illustration) are not imported from MS WORD 2010 document. I tried with MS Word 2013 => Same problem.I tried with MS WORD 2000 document and it works.notes that cross references to titles works fine in all cases.

RoboScreenCap. 2.0 (via RoboHTML 11) on Windows 7.This is an intermittent problem, but really aggravating when it happens. I finally decided to see if anyone in this forum knows how to solve it!I will be using RoboScreenCap - with no problems - when suddenly it will stop allowing me to select and drag, or paste and drag, content in a capture. As soon as I start to drag whatever I have selected or pasted, it simply disappears.Sometimes restarting my computer will fix this problem, but sometimes not. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem? Thanks.

We're publishing content using RH2015 and sometimes (sporadically), if the user types a keyword on the Index tab, it doesn't scroll the user to the requested topic or even the first letter of the search term. The user still has to manually scroll down and hope to find their search term.

RoboHelp 2015 (12.0.2.384)Unable to delete empty folders. I get a "Could not find this item" error message. Tried deleting in Project Manager, Explorer, and DOS.

I just upgraded to RH 2015 and about half of my links are not working. I tried reimporting the document, but that didn't fix anything.

Is there a way always show TOC in output for WebHelp? My team doesn't like clicking Show.
