I have my feedback working with the javascript code below linked to an image. Problem is that only the html files in the root are showing my image. Hi!I've upgraded from RH9 to RH11. Now, when I paste images from clipboard they are saved as gif, resulting in low-resolution 8-bit images. Before they were saved as 24-bit jpeg. It doesn't matter where I paste the image from, they are always saved the same.I've tried to search for a setting where this applies but with no luck. Now I have to manually save the images and insert, resulting in alot more work.Does anybody know how to save the clipboard images as jpeg as they did before?Thanks!Best reg.Fredrik

In RBH 11.04.291, I am previewing a topic with two type of conditional text using the binoculars. I set the Conditional Build Tag Expression to one or the other, but regardless of my selection, the other conditional text remains.I've also tried using the Advanced build expression (instead of Not Condition_2, using Condition_1) with the same results.I previewed in Chrome, IE, and Firefox. Also the same results.

I have generated HTML Webhelp files via Robohelp version 9. However, I want the help to display in a single-pane viewer (with search field, home, print, and foward/back arrows displaying at top in the same pane with the help text) similar to the way online help is displayed in Microsoft Office 2013. Is there an online help viewer that can be coded to call my HTML Webhelp content to display in the single one-pane viewer? If so, how can I implement it?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have a separate TOC for Word output. All my topics are shown in it that I want in the word doc. Some of these topics are books with links in the TOC with further topics nested below them. The issue is that the content from the books is not showing in Word, just the heading. I've got some conditional build tags on content within those topics, but that is only on specific content. My TOC looks like this. Topic 1 - should have content but only shows the title.      Topic 2 - shows title and content.Topic 3 - should have content but only shows the title.      Topic 4 - should have content but only shows the title.           Topic 5 - shows title and content.When running through the generate options, I'm moving my TOC in to the Chapter Layout, removing the topic shown directly under the book so it isn't shown twice in my word doc. I am using RoboHelp 2015. All other styles are working. I changed one of the Heading 1 lines to a different style and it worked fine. I opened the .css and it all looks okay. Any ideas?Thanks.

Has anyone created a Robohelp system for customized software applications where each page and/or functions are based on the user's login.  Basically not all pages and functions (and the context help that goes with the specific function/page) should be visible by all users. I do not want a user that does not have access to a particular function in the application to have access to the help that goes with that page. 

Hello,I just upgraded everything: Win7, Office 2010, RH 9 from RH 8. I first installed RH8 on this new system so I could install RH9 as an upgrade. Once that was done, I uninstalled RH8. Now I can start RH9 and it opens Word to show my default opening document. The RH toolbars are visible in the Word pane, but none of the options are functional. When I try to open a different document in the project, I get the messages below. There are additional errors from Word, which has to close itself and open again with a restored document.I know from prior advice given here that it's past time to switch from RH for Word to RH HTML, but I would like to get comfortable with all these other upgrades before I make that step.Thanks for any help offered.Carma

Does anyone know how to clear the list of files in the link to baggage file list when you create a new TOC? I have linked several baggage files I am having a hard time seeing the whole name of the file.

How do you search for a bookmark using the search function of the output? Here's what I want to accomplish:Instead of multiple topics, I want one topic in which I will insert smaller topics via expandable text. My intent is to bookmark all of my expandable text so that if the user goes to the Search option on the output first, they can still find the expandable topic on the main topic page. You can search for bookmarks in RoboHelp itself, but not in a RoboHelp output! Any help would be much, much appreciated.

I tried going thru File>Project Settings but it does not change it...I opened a new project and put in a project title and it worked...I then tried changing that title using the Project Settings and it did not work...the documentation says this is the place to change the output title...I do not know how to get back to the opening dialog of the New Project Wizard so I can actually change it without having to open a whole new project and copying it into the new one...I do not want to do that......

Hi,I've searched through many posts, but did not see this issue. I have changed almost all of my styles (text indents and margins only), and would like to know how to apply these changes to my entire project. The styles were not renamed, the CSS is correct in all topic properties, but I am having to go through every page in my project and manually re-apply every style as the changes do not apply. I have fastidiously gone through the CSS to ensure the stylesheet matches what has been set up in the Styles and Formatting pod (a lot of times it does not, so I have to fix the stylesheet). Is there an easier way to apply style changes to the entire project?Thanks,Pam

Now that I am enamored with RH 2015's Responsive HTML output ... Is there - or might there be in the near future - a version of 2015 for multiple writers to collaborate on one project simultaneously (without checking out / checking in)?  Thank you.

I've successfully used the Printed Documentation before (although that was with RH 11; I'm using RH2015 now), but today when I try to use it, I get this:of course MS Word has been started on my computer; I've used it dozens of times this week alone. RoboHelp 2015: How to display a document that has a parent pon TOC and no child. Tthe parent does not display on output HTML5. I want to display a word document that contains hyperlinks.

Sorry for re-asking this. I know I asked it before but can't find it.  My CTRL+W stopped working.  I tried the ALT+space bar, M, move cursor arrow tip, but that did not work.  I remember seeing an option update the registry but cant' find it.  What was the registry update process to resolve this issue (or is there a different, better way to resolve it)?  Thanks.

IN RH 11 I changed the margins in whfbody,whgbody,whgdef, whibody and whdthtml. Leftmargin to 10, topmargin also to 10 and for whgdef also a rightmargin to 10. I made these changes in the folder so it worked for all the SSL/Webhelps I created.When I made a SSL/Webhelp these changes were visible. The margins are not so narrow anymore.But now in RH 2015 this seems not to work anymore.I tried to changes the margins in these 5 .html files but it is not visible in the SSL/Webhelp.Any suggestions?Aart

Hello all,I have two versions installed:RoboHELP 9RoboHELP 2015We are slowly transitioning our projects from RoboHELP 9. At the moment, I cannot uninstall RoboHELP 9, because I need it for some of my projects still.The problem I'm running into is this:The RoboHELP command line compiler, rhcl.exe, is not compiling all the topics.Our main help, when I compile it from within the RoboHELP application, is usually about 25 MB large. When I compile the same help using the RoboHELP command line compiler, it is only 4 MB large. That is a lot of missing content.Here's a smaller output showing the same problem:The compile log shows a bunch of these:HHC5003: Error:Compilation failed while compiling planner\Planner__Introduction.htm.I think the problem is that with the two versions that I have installed, it's trying to compile a RoboHELP 2015 project with a RoboHELP 9 compiler.I've verified that each version has its own rhcl.exe.I renamed the RoboHELP 9 one to "rhcl.exebak" so that it doesn't get u

I'm using RH 11 to generate HTML Help. When I go to File > Import > HTML/XHTML File... to import an html file, RH freezes. I have to use Task Manager to shut it down and re-start it. As soon as I click HTML/XLTML File... it freezes. Does anyone know what might cause this?

HiI've been asked about using Robohelp to create a Knowledge Base, and have therefore been having a look at this template for the first time.I can find very little information about this type of output, and wonder if anyone has experience of using it to create a KB from first principles? There are so many really super looking KBs out there, I have my doubts as to whether Robohelp is the best tool for the job; I'm still at the very early stages of investigation but from what I've seen so far, it all seems a bit basic.All and any advice would be most welcome 🙂Claire

I'm trying to show the navigation pane so that you can see the Table of Contents automatically. When I run my project on my server (not robohelp's server) there is a link called Show which I need to click to show the TOC.The image below displays when I run my WebHelp project on Rh2015 on my company server.This is the same project but running on my local PC.

My document goes down to 5 Levels Topic     Sub Topic          Sub Sub Topic               Sub Sub Sub Topic                    You get the idea I am sure,I have tried for 2 days to figure this out and I am baffled.  The screen is rather busy to work on (lots of things on it) so I feel that I am overlooking something obvious..  Please help.

Hi every one I added many HTML file to project. and saved change to project. So I closed RoboHelp and reopened this project.Then Contents of FPJ file has file paths and contents are displayed in project manager (GUI) is different.Why these difference was made ?Can I continue to use this project ? Is there anything I should do ?These difference are shown in following image.
