I'm using RobHelp 7.0.  I'd like the .CHM output by RoboHelp HTML to have a different name.  How can this be done?  I know that .CHM filename is based on the the project filename. (.XPJ)What I've done:1. Open the Project2. Select File > Rename Project3. Project Name, I typed in the new project nameThen I did:1. Select the Single Source Layouts Pod2. Right-click the Microsoft HTML Help.  Select Properties3. Select Output Folder and Filename, I typed the new name for the .chm file)When I compiled the file, I still see the old .chm filename.  I checked the !SSL! folder and the new file name is there.   What did I do wrong?

Does RoboHelp10 offer natural language search mechanisms after project is published?

When we go to publish our changes for a project, it is publishing the whole project which is taking a substantial amount of time. Is there any way we can just publish the changes only?

I have created a CHM file via the Generate CHM from WebHelp function. Everything, including the context-sensitive elements works as planned.However, when a topic is called from the application via the F1 key, the topic appears in a window that does not contain a TOC pane.Is there any way to display the TOC on individual topic windows?Thanks-Lauren

I am no expert in Robohelp having picked up support for our product's help fairly recently so I might be missing something obvious to experts here.  However, I had a project in Robohelp 8 and upgraded to version 11.  The upgrade seemed to run fine and I could generate my HTML help file.  But when I open the file, while I do get the correct default topic the window caption is incorrect.  It actually uses the same caption for all help topics.  I am also missing the Contents, Index and Search pane.  I compared my generate options to those in version 8 and everything looks exactly the same.  Help!

How do I add a robohelp 11 project to version control where we have subversion but not RoboHelp SharePoint Connector?I created a new project and selected File, Version Control, Add to Version Control. The only option I have is RoboHelp SharePoint Connector. It does not give me to option to point directly to the repository server. We do not have RoboHelp SharePoint Connector. We have Subversion on our new server but we do not have PushOK. Can we use version control with subversion and not using PushOK?

I think it removes the styles from all the topics in the project but am looking for confirmation. I think it was deleted by one of our RoboHelp 2015 users and when they realized it, copied it back in. I can't think of another reason why all the topics in the project would lose their styles. Is there another reason this would happen?

When my help file opens, I am taken to the Index page and none of the hyperlinks work (TOC does not work and I can not open any help files). I have published before with no issues at all.When you use the search bar, find and open a topic, all of the links and everything work perfectly how they did before. When you check the console in Chrome it says "Uncaught ReferenceError: gTopicFrameName is not defined"It seems to be a RoboHelp error.  Is there a TopicFrameName property in RoboHelp?Thank you 

I'm looking for a way change the font of the show all help topics link in RoboHelp 2015. Is there a way to do this?

New to the forum, but I didn't see anything specifically that addresses my question.Background: I work in a two person shop. We use RoboHelp 2015.  Our developers use GIT and now require us to check in our files similar to their workflow. We use GITeye user interface to work with the GIT repositories. Issue: The web help that gets cloned from GIT is stored in the GIT directory on my C drive.  However when I try to publish WebHelp back to this folder, it goes to a folder called RoboHelptoGITModifed. I've tried changing the file path to the Help file folder in the GIT folder, but I get an error. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you get RoboHelp to publish to the GIT folder or what did you come up for a workaround?

On a topic page, I have references in my H2 elements pointing to H3 level items to serve as a sort of TOC within the topic page:<h1>Installation</h1><h2><a href="#Windows">Windows</a></h2><h2><a href="#OSX">OSX</a></h2><h2><a href="#iOS">iOS</a></h2><h2><a href="#Android">Android</a></h2><h3><a name="Windows">Windows</a><h3><h3><a name="OSX">OSX</a><h3><h3><a name="iOS">iOS</a><h3><h3><a name="Android">Android</a><h3>Obviously, it's over-simplified here for demonstration purposes, but in essence, the end user that looks at the public facing help files can click on the Heading 2 element, and it will automatically scroll down in the page to that particular OS installation instructions.My problem is that the first H2 element is visible after the H2 elements and could confuse end users...I

I have worked some more and made a .chm file, and now have some more questions:1. I have seen that some styles do not look the way I would like. How can I change these globally and regenerate?2. How to make sure that the Frame files are linked?3. Can I save the settings files to reuse for another project? If so, which files should I be saving?thanks

Till last week my RoboHelp 9 copy was working fine. From yesterday, "Open" dialog box is not showing up. If I click Open icon it will hang. Please help!!

Hi,I have generated AdobeAir chm browser based help output, but when i am clicking on the Start Page then it is redirecting me on some other help topic page instead of Start Page.

FM keeps crashing when I update linked files in RH. It then restarts, and the Web help is generated, but it is a nuisance and probably an indication of something that should be fixed. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi all,I've recently upgraded from Robohelp 6.0 to Robohelp 15. I've generated and published my project to Roboserver9 (new server for my project) but the email templates that I have as baggage files don't work when published. They look fine when I view the in Robohelp project manager, via a hyperlink in a topic.Is there something I need to do when publishing?Ian

We have the need to jump to a midpoint in a PDF document instead of a specific page (when adding content in front of the bookmark, the page may change). I thought I could add a bookmark in RH9 and then would see the bookmark translated to a destination in the PDF, but I am not seeing any destinations in the generated PDF when clicking the destination icon in the left nav of the generated PDF. Am I doing something wrong, do I need a newer version of RH, or does this not work at all?

Recently upgraded from RH9 to RH11. I now find the functionality of marking or unmarking a TOC as new is unavailable in my RH11. Looked high and low to turn it back on. As you can see below (1) it has been available in RH9 but in RH11 the option (2) is greyed out?Any suggestions Guys?

Hi!Does anyone know why a big animated 4-square image (as shown in the image below) appears in a responsive HTML output? Is this because I am using a trial version?The image below shows the result after I imported a Word file into a trial version of RoboHelp 2015 and then outputted it to a responsive HTML file. Hello all,Back again, and I have another question regarding topics and file management between the Project Manager and the TOC...As you may or may not recall, I have been brought on board an organization to help them streamline and develop consistency in the Help files for a number of products they produce.  The products, while very similar in appearance and function, do have unique UI elements and some features that are specific to a particular product.  So, for ease of explanation, let's assume that the product is available on Windows, OSX, iOS and Android.  I now have the Project Files organized accordingly:Windows Product (folder)Topic 1Topic 2Topic 3OSX Product (folder)Topic 1Topic 2Topic 3etc...My problem started with a presumed understanding that:1. The Project Manager Pod will show me all files associated with my Project, whether they are published or not . . .2. Hi,Since this morning I have not been able to publish my project successfully. I am trying to publish to Responsive HTML5, which is set as my primary output, but each time I try Robohelp hangs and is unresponsive. I have tried publishing just a subset of information using a smaller TOC, but this also hangs. I have tried removing the topic it seems to get stuck on, but it still hangs. I've also tried selecting the options Exclude Unreferenced Topics and Exclude Unreferenced Baggage Files to no avail.Any help welcome, as I am desperate because I have a presentation to give tomorrow and need this output working ASAP.Thank you.Karen

HiI want to downgrade my Robohelp project from Robohelp 2015 to Robohelp 10. I was looking for information online, the only instruction I can find is below:Make a backup of the current project.
