We have the need to jump to a midpoint in a PDF document instead of a specific page (when adding content in front of the bookmark, the page may change). I thought I could add a bookmark in RH9 and then would see the bookmark translated to a destination in the PDF, but I am not seeing any destinations in the generated PDF when clicking the destination icon in the left nav of the generated PDF. Am I doing something wrong, do I need a newer version of RH, or does this not work at all?

Recently upgraded from RH9 to RH11. I now find the functionality of marking or unmarking a TOC as new is unavailable in my RH11. Looked high and low to turn it back on. As you can see below (1) it has been available in RH9 but in RH11 the option (2) is greyed out?Any suggestions Guys?

Hi!Does anyone know why a big animated 4-square image (as shown in the image below) appears in a responsive HTML output? Is this because I am using a trial version?The image below shows the result after I imported a Word file into a trial version of RoboHelp 2015 and then outputted it to a responsive HTML file. Hi,Since this morning I have not been able to publish my project successfully. I am trying to publish to Responsive HTML5, which is set as my primary output, but each time I try Robohelp hangs and is unresponsive. I have tried publishing just a subset of information using a smaller TOC, but this also hangs. I have tried removing the topic it seems to get stuck on, but it still hangs. I've also tried selecting the options Exclude Unreferenced Topics and Exclude Unreferenced Baggage Files to no avail.Any help welcome, as I am desperate because I have a presentation to give tomorrow and need this output working ASAP.Thank you.Karen

HiI want to downgrade my Robohelp project from Robohelp 2015 to Robohelp 10. I was looking for information online, the only instruction I can find is below:Make a backup of the current project. Anyone know how to limit image sizes when outputting? My images are way too big and can't seem to remedy this while retaining the link to framemaker documents.Thanks!

Using Robohelp 2015. I can generate an HTML CHM; however, the window is fixed in a portion of the screen, won't close using windows controls, and only shows the content pane. I've created new windows and tables of contents, but the results are the same.

I just want to change the default font size used for the Table of Contents in my Responsive HTML5 output.

I'm currently using RoboHelp 9. We are considering using WebHelp format topublish our Help on our website.Will Google index the content? I have a project that contains sample programs written as .txt files. When I generate a CHM file that contain hyperlinks to the .txt files, they display properly. However, when I generate a PDF of the project and click the hyperlink, the sample .txt files do not display. I receive the following error.Does anyone know a way to enable the capability for hyperlinks for baggage .txt files to display in a PDF? Thank you!

I need to set up a RH project for 2 languages. Do I generate 2 separate projects or is it possible for 2 people to use the same output and each do so in their own language? Is there documentation somewhere that explains how to do this? The help within RH was not basic enough for someone who has no idea how to start.

Using the TOC Page Properties window, General tab, I can specify a web address for the Link To field.  If I click that TOC page after compiling the project, the URL opens in the topic pane of the existing project.  Is there a way to make the URL open in a separate browser window or tab instead of in the project's topic pane?  Thanks!

I'm not sure if the problem is my ignorance about CSS or RoboHelp styles.I have a multi-level list where the first level uses numbers and the second level uses letters. For example:1. Step 1a. Substep ab. Substep b2. Step 23. Step 3c. Substep ad. Substep b4. Step 4I want the sublist under Step 3 to start at a. I created these really nice styles that look beautiful (List-Number-1 and List-Number-2), but RH clearly treats each item associated with each style as a giant list. When I try to right-click and choose Bullets and Numbering, it says that the list restarts at 1, but that particular item obviously did not get the memo.When I look at the HTML, I expected something different. I expected to see <OL> tags, but I have something unfamiliar to me. There's one topic in the project I'm working on that gives me this message every time I try to open it."RobhHelp has stopped working. Windows is trying to find a solution..." etc. I have to close the program and start over again. I don't recall changing anything in the topic significantly.How can I fix it if I can't get into it?Thanx!Lon

We recently tested our WebHelp output with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Unfortunately it was not possible to open the help files (neither with pressing F1 nor with opening the help output directly). With IE10, IE11 and Firefox it is possible to open the help files. Searching the discussions in the forum I only found one explaining a problem with the TOC pane that disappears after using the search function. Do you have any suggestions how the problem can be solved?Thanks.

Company is using RH 2015, and we would like to take the existing Help Content for one topic and duplicate it into another area, then tweak minor bits to account for slight variations in the product types.Is there an easy way to do this and keep the source content (text, images, glossary terms, etc.) intact?

Hi allWe are using RH11 on Windows 8.We were given a CHM file that had been compiled using Doctor Explain software.We used Robohelp HTML help studio to decompile it into its component parts.It seems to have been pretty successful, in that we do have a project we can work with, but all the topics contain a multitude of tables, as you can see in the screenshot.We have used RH a lot in the past but not for a few years and are very rusty. We have tried applying new stylesheets and master pages but still the tables remain.Has anyone seen this before? Do you know how to rid the topics of all the tables?We have looked at RoboWizard and Reverse Engineering but we don't see tables mentioned. We've tried both the HTML Studio and Keytools methods suggested in the Reverse Engineeringpage but to no avail. I can't get "The Man's Way" to work 🙂Can anyone help please?ThanksLaura

RoboHelp 2015 has crashed once daily since installing the application two weeks ago. I have not been able to isolate any consistent events leading up to each crash, although most crashes seem to occur when I try to insert a file (such as an image file) in my help project. The latest crash occurred when I tried importing a topic from another help project. I have the error from the Windows log that I can provide if necessary. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.Thanks,George

RH 10 on system 7. HTML5 output.I am getting headings that appear to be hyperlinks, but they don 't actually open anything or fail to open anything. They just appear in hyplink color and appear active when you hover them.Then when you click on one nothing happens but it continues to act like an active hyperlink.I am not even sure how to describe it.

Ok, Sorry if this has been covered. I have searched the internet and found none of the MLL problems matching my own. My whole goal is to be able to create numbered procedures in Robohelp webhelp that has images such as what I created below. The problem is, I want images inserted with no numbering or bullets. I've found I can't do this because it breaks the numbered procedure, so what I have show here is don't manually (which I don't want to do considering my project has about 10,000 files. I created a multilevel list in Robohelp for procedures to help with this need. I set up this list that has a mixture of bullets/numbers, and nothing in front in order to have a procedure in a topic with images to go along with it (that of course don't break the numbering system, and aren't numbered themselves, because it looks a bit odd to just have a step numbered picture).So, with each line being a new line and different indentation level, here is how the list looks in Robohelp (on the left) and th
