Has anyone successfully used Google Drive to host their project files in Robohelp 12? I've installed the Google Drive client, but when I try to add Google Drive as a shared location, it tells me "Please install Google Drive client" which I've already done, is there another step that I'm missing?

Hello everybody,I am using RoboHelp HTML 11 and SVN Tortoise as source control. I just started to involve my colleague as a reviewer and we are encountering a problem during the following review workflow:1) I finish a RoboHelp project and COMMIT it to SVN (all files).2) My colleague clicks UPDATE and opens the RoboHelp project to review it and add comments. Then she closes the project and clicks COMMIT to check in her version (all files).3) I click UPDATE and open the RoboHelp project to see her comments. I accept/ignore/delete them, close the project afterwards and click COMMIT to check in my version (all files).4) Now, when my colleague clicks UPDATE, she sees an error message saying that "one or more files are in a conflict state". When she opens the project, she still sees all her comments in the review window (which cannot be deleted). The changes I made in the actual topics are also visible.Can anybody please explain why this error message appears?Thank you very much in advance!

Using the WAVE accessiblity evaluation tool, it looks like the Responsive HTML5 layouts are missing alternative text. What files do I need to edit in these layouts to make them meet accessibility standards?

Can excel sheet be imported to robohelp file, I am trying to create a help file for content which is excel file. So, it would be helpful if the excel file content has an help content built within.

I'm generating a webhelp project using robohelp 11.  The design view looks as it should but after I generate and view it does not reflect my custom style sheet? Can someone please help?  thanks.

I've currently got TCS4 (RH 10) on Win 7 and am being upgraded to a yet unknown Windows platform on another laptop. I'm wondering if it's a simple task to transfer all of my RoboHelp  projects from one pc to another without having to re-enter or re-set up things like customized skins, colors, buttons, variables, etc.After re-installing TCS on the new pc, can I just copy/paste all RH files from one pc to another and pick up where I left off?(If so, would the necessary files to transfer be contained in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML?)dan

Hey All.We have recently signed a contract with a third party software provider to use their product within our application. Their product has a Help button on each page calling their online help. However, they offer the ability, in the config file, to specify a different Online Help URL. I have set this to point to our main product's Online Help server. I have also copied their help files (with their permission) into our main product's Online Help project. I need to figure out how to map it so that their help button finds the topic in our main product's Online Help.Basically, when the user clicks the help button in the third party product, it sends out the following call to the help server: http://www.customhelp.com/Product?helpkey=welcometopic&language=en-us (where www.customhelp.com/Product is the path to our main product's Online WebHelp server and welcometopic is the context parameter.I have tried using the context parameter as the Map ID, but am still not able to access the t

RH2015 | WebHelpI have a merged WebHelp system with a Breadcrumb placeholder in my master page. This all worked perfectly until I changed the Home Page Name from the default "Home". When I compile the parent and the child projects the breadcrumb still shows "Home" as the Home Page Name instead of the new name. After some investigation, I can see that when I compile the parent project it writes a file called MasterData_xml.js to each of the child projects. It's this file that still contains a reference to "Home":gXMLBuffer ="<?xml version=\"1.0\"?>  <!--Automatically generated by RoboHTML. I renamed my RoboHelp 11 project to change what is displayed in the browser tab. Now the project fails to open. The error message says the project was either cancelled or the application was unable to load database for (Path to the project files ending with the re-named .cpd file). Is there an easy fix? Should I create a new project and copy in all of the project files? Of course I have a deadline of next Tuesday!

Hello all,I need help on how to integrate my context-sensitive help output in Responsive HTML5 (Robohelp 11) into our application. I've created the map ID file but now that i've generated the output, i can open it without any problem in a web browser with the index.html file but my problem is how to integrate it in our software so that it opens the context-sensitive help.I haven't found any information that would guide me through the steps required to integrate it in our application.Thanks in advanceRegards,B. I am using robohelp 2015 and want to imbed a streamed video.The Online Help says that I can do this by choosing the Online (url) option as opposed to Offline (local folder).I cannot for the life of me see this option.

Hello, I am not a Robohelp expert, but I’m working on 3rd party online help that they created with Robohelp. I’m editing and adding to it using the experience that I have.My question is about single sourcing. I received two help projects from them: One is “global” help, which is one big project that contains all the help files. The user clicks the help icon and gets a TOC and all the help is searchable. The other project is “page level” help, which is context-sensitive help where each topic is directly linked to each application page in the UI. These are entirely separate help systems that contain very similar content, sometimes identical. However, they do not share any files. In fact, the names of files with similar or the same content have different file names.As you might imagine, maintenance is a chore with having to make the same edits to two set of files. Hey all,After doing some searching over the past few days incrementally, I'm almost assuming this isn't possible, but I'm praying there may be a way to do it.My company has a specific StyleSheet that we use for almost everything. A few weeks ago I asked (like an idiot) how to make all styles viable in the Styles and Formatting window, and of course it was simply by taking off show preview. I do high volume project maintenance (changing the headers, general formatting, master pages, overall look, ect...) of very large projects daily, all averaging between 600 - 3000 topic pages.I've gotten pretty fast at general changes and style selecting, but no matter WHERE i search, I can't find a way to keyboard macro frequently used styles.Here are my questions / desires for this task.:-Ideally I would want to macro between 7 and 16 styles.-Is there a way to replace current general RH shortcuts with these desired styles? (I use a few default shortcuts, but not many)-If I can replace them, can I ju

Hello!I am using RH11 for the project I am working on and I am publishing to WebHelp Pro. What I have seen is that when I view the project on different screens it doesn't auto size and then I have to scroll to view the content. Is there a possible way with WebHelp Pro where I can have the project auto size so if fits different screens the same?Thanks.

RoboHelp HTML 8.0Standard project but not using Table of Contents, index, etc.Project does use drop-down expanded sections.When I generate the Webhelp (RoboHelp, source and output on my local machine), the files generated contain some standard javascript elements.The files were handed over to the development team, who put the source into their source control system.They have since extracted the source and attempted to generate the help.The process appears to work, but on examination the generated files are identical to the source files - no javascript.They have RoboHelp installed on a remote machine and are running it over the network.Is there something that could have been "switched off" in the project, or are they likely to be missing some component?Thanks in advance,Alison

We have been using Roboserver for a few months now, and analytics are no longer recording in any of the Areas we have established.  What should I look for to troubleshoot the issue and resolve? i have little to no documentation for this type of problem, but we do have the resources who may be able to resolve. Still, I need to know where to begin looking to resolve. Can anyone help me here?

Why do I see duplicate pages under a topic?  Only 1 opens in RoboHelp.  Should  I delete the other one?

I have been trying to install the free trial of Adobe RoboHelp 10 on my MacBook Pro, but just a couple seconds after it begins installing, I get the message "Installation failed... Contact your server for more detail." I have viewed numerous solutions for troubleshooting and I still get the "failure" message. Don't know what to do!I own a MacBook Pro 10.10.5. I have the latest version of flash and updated Chrome browser.

Hello all,Where might I find additional skins to select from for a RH 11 webhlep project other than the few in my projects skins gallery?  The option to import from the web takes me to https://creative.adobe.com/addons, but I don't see RoboHelp listed in the applications and a search on RoboHelp doesn't return anything.Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.Diane

I'm using RoboHelp 2015 for my project with a primary output of Printed Documentation (PDF). I'm also using conditionalized text to single-source the output for users who want three different options in their output:1) Widget A only2) Widget B only3) Both Widget A and Widget BFor review purposes only, I'd like to provide one single PDF that includes the content for both Widget A AND Widget B. Right now, all text is appearing in the default font color (black) so it's not possible for users to differentiate what is Widget A content and what is Widget B content. My question: Is it possible to change the font color properties of conditional text, or even have it appear as shown in RH with the color-coded over-bar? I want users to be able to see the conditions in the output. It's a handy feature in FrameMaker (Show Condition Indicators check box) for reviews, but perhaps not available in RoboHelp? I upgraded to RH 10 from 8. I see a lot of old skins in the gallery. If I try to download new ones from the Web, I am taken to the Adobe Exchange site. Do I also need to upgrade to Creative Cloud or CS6 in order to get fresh skins with RH10?

I save the topic, then go to View > View Item. Popup hyperlinks don't display the images. I click and nothing happens.
