I’m currently working on some coffee pod visuals for a website project, and I’m trying to make the images look as realistic and natural as possible rather than like a typical product mockup.I’m experimenting with different compositions showing coffee pods alongside a freshly prepared cup, especially iced coffee. One thing I’ve noticed is that small details make a huge difference—the coffee color, ice, condensation on the glass, crema, shadows, reflections, and even the way the pod is positioned can make an image feel much more realistic.I’m curious how other Adobe users approach this type of food/product visual. For example:How do you create realistic condensation on a cold coffee glass? What’s the best way to make ice look natural? How do you handle reflections on glossy coffee capsules? Do you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or Firefly for this type of work? What lighting or shadow techniques help avoid the “too perfect” product-image look? If you're generating the image with AI, what detai
I've tried to get the student license for Substance Painter, but it didn't work. At first I tried to fill the form with the email address that was used to create Adobe account, but it said I typed invalid UniqueID and asked me to correct errors before submitting the form. After changing account details and setting primary email to the alias of the first one I've used, I could successfuly send the form. The problem is I didn't get any email back. I've checked my inbox multiple times, there is no message neither in received nor spam. Proxmox mail gateway that my university uses to filter messages also doesn't show anything.Submitting the form again displays error stating that UniqueID already exists. Is there any way to solve this? It seems to me that there is no button that would allow me to resend the email. I receive every other message that Adobe sends me, so it's not a problem of my email address.
I'm using Adobe Firefly, but it keeps me waiting for a long time, and then instead of the image, I get the message "A problem occurred. Please try again later." I've been experiencing this problem for two days now.
Gold prospecting has evolved dramatically from simple manual panning to high-precision electronic exploration. Today, field operators, commercial prospectors, and hobbyists rely on sophisticated instruments capable of scanning deep beneath the earth’s surface to identify precious metals. Selecting an original gold detector is the most critical decision any prospector will make, as authentic devices provide the exact sensitivity, ground balancing, and frequency calibration needed to distinguish valuable natural gold nuggets and buried treasure from mineralized trash. High-grade detection equipment ensures that every excursion yields actionable feedback, reducing wasted hours in challenging environments. Advanced Multi-System Technology for High-Yield ProspectingModern gold detection equipment relies on multi-technology integration to handle diverse geological formations. Traditional single-frequency detectors often struggle in heavily mineralized soils, where conductive iron oxides, wet
Hello everyone,I'm a logo designer and I'm working on creating clean, modern, and premium vector logos. I would appreciate your feedback on my design. Please let me know what you think about the composition, color balance, scalability, and overall branding impact. Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.Thank you for your time and feedback!
Hi there, I want to ask that in sampler there are a lot of generators(filters) like brickwall, weave generator, cloth weave generator and many more, I just want to know that the texture maps generated by these filters are allowed to be redistributed or no.
Subject: 8-Year Legacy Contributor Requesting Urgent Ticket Escalation - Account Blocked (Case ID: [Insert Ticket Number Here])To the Adobe Stock Community and Adobe Team,I am writing this post in hopes of reaching an Adobe Stock official or forum moderator who can help look into an urgent issue regarding my contributor account. My account was automatically deactivated this past Friday, and I am deeply devastated. I have been a dedicated and honest Adobe Stock contributor for over 8 years. Over nearly a decade of hard work, I have built a massive legacy portfolio of over 51,000 files. My work focuses primarily on creative assets for designers and editors, including backgrounds, textures, grunge effects, and overlays, as well as editorial and commercial content covering local events, festivals, and sports. Just this past Friday, my requested payout was successfully completed and transferred to my Payoneer account. However, just hours around that window, my account was suddenly blocked b
There is no where in the substance3d site interface that shows me what my daily limit amount is, or even my remaining amount? Am I the only one experiencing this limit? Feels like false advertising to claim this new system is unmetered if this is how it works.
Environment artist Sherif Dawoud has just created a new Signature Collection for Substance 3D Assets, Welcome to Mireland, focused on the richly atmospheric world of wetlands and marshes. We’ve also just published an interview with Sherif, where he breaks down the creative and technical processes behind this collection, exploring the construction of several key materials, including a highly flexible birch bark system, a mossy swamp-ground surface built from tile-based organic patterns, and terrain materials enriched with customisable grass, leaves, and twig placement. Sherif also shares insights into using displacement-driven workflows in Unreal Engine with Nanite, and how decals, with carefully applied normal exaggeration, can add realistic variation without heavy geometry. Read the interview with Sherif right now!
Arr, matey! Few there be who be havin’ the gumption to create materials that be useful years down the line! Yet this be just what wily ol’ Eric Wiley did a few years back when he put together his ‘Treasure Island’ Signature Collection for good ol’ Substance 3D Assets! The most beautiful ship decking ye ever did see! Treasure, me hearties, by the armful! Everything ye need to make the most astounding pirate scene ever seen across the seven seas! So aghast were we at the beauty of ol’ Eric Wiley’s work that we dredged up from the depths Eric’s accounting of his workflows and techniques and all, and republished it just these last few days. Go and cast yer eyes over it now, ye mangey landlubber! Arr, me beauties, she be a fine read indeed!
Hi! I have a subscription for Substance, and I can download assets from the web at:https://substance3d.adobe.com/But when I try to access the same assets from the Creative Cloud Desktop Client, under Stock and Marketplace -> 3D I get this error: To download assets first subscribe to a 3d offer I have tried to logout and login again in the client, and still the same error.
The winning entry from October's challenge, by Narina Allakhverdian. The new monthly challenge for the 3D Texture Artists group on LinkedIn is up! This month the model to texture is Stylized Mushroom 07, available for free this month on Substance 3D Assets. You can find all pertinent info on the challenge thread in the LinkedIn group. Notably, the deadline to get those images in this month is on November 22. And if you want more info on previous monthly challenges (most notably last month’s), we're starting to build our Behance post on the challenge a repository of images created so far. Good luck!
I had around 750 points... I've been paying for a subscription for a while and recently stopped. I've been getting assets, and spending these points occasionally whenever needed, and now all of a sudden ALL my points are gone... As far as I understand the points are permanent, right? Why are they gone?
I cant figure out how to use assets/materials from Adobe Substance 3D assets with the steam version of substance painter. The website tells me to subscribe to gain access, but I already have the steam license.
Matthias Schmidt’s new Procedural Planetarium Signature Collection delivers a rich set of procedural planet materials – from icy moons to gas giants to ocean worlds – built for Substance 3D Assets. All materials of course incorporate modifiable parameters to allow it to fit your stellar needs, and node graphs are provided allowing you to study Matthias's expert approach to material creation. In our new article, Procedural Planetarium: Matthias Schmidt on Filling the Night Sky, Matthias details the techniques he used to recreate layered atmospheres, emissive “civilization” masks, and more to create these astrological wonders, incorporating outstanding visuals and practical tips you can drop straight into your material workflows. Take a look today! (Or, y'know, tomorrow.)
Outstanding texturing work by Yufei Chen, for the October 2025 texturing challenge. Each month the 3D Texture Artists group on LinkedIn runs a challenge: take that month's specified asset, and texture it as artfully you can. There are just two more days before the submission deadline for this month, on October 22 2025. But don't worry -- if you don't have time to get something ready for this month., the next challenge begins on November 1! You can find the thread for this month's challenge on LinkedIn, right here. And the winner of this month's challenge will be announced on October 27, in the 3D Texture Artists group. And to see what sort of work has already been created for these challenges, take a look at the Behance page we've just created as a sort of 'challenge repository'. We'll be keeping that updated as more and more submissions come in. So, go nuts with the texturing -- and, as mentioned, the next challenge begins at the start of November!
'Sup, folks? We've just published Beyond the Screen: How 3D Amplifies Real-world Design. Luxury leather goods designer Solange Sailler worked with the Substance 3D Assets team to explore how 3D tools can complement traditional craftsmanship—enhancing creativity, iteration, and communication while maintaining Solange's tactile, 'real-world' approach to design. The 3D Assets team created a bunch of new models and materials to represent leather goods as part of this project. Those are available on Substance 3D Assets right now. Enjoy!
We just published an article exploring how the Substance 3D Assets team and Chris Lefteri Design combined 3D and ‘real-world’ expertise to look at injection-molded plastics, and consider how techniques like injecting dyes or adding speckles in the mix can create interesting material effects. These materials were created with CMF designers in mind—experimenting with parametric materials in this way to show every phase of the material creation process can essentially save a lot of time and resources in terms of iteration and prototyping—but it's a fascinating look overall at how different areas of of material creation can converge (and create some phenomenal visuals, as a plus). Go ahead and read the full article, Go with the Flow: Animating Injection-Molded Plastics with Substance 3D Designer, right now!
Hello! I understand that subscribed users now have unmetered access to assets which is peachy! If you're not a subscribed user but still have a large pool of substance points accrued over the years does this mean Adobe is taking my points away come April?Cheers!
The error message is "Asset 'number' does not seem to exist." Could someone please help me out?
Hi, I'm working on a project that uses some of the substance files imported into my scenes. Will every asset I download during the subscription be available to download on the platform after the subscription ends? (like the old point system)Thank you so much

Hi, I have the student plan for Substance, however I can obviously only download the .rpm package from my apps page. I am on Arch Linux so I am aware that the only, or easiest way to get this to work is by getting the Steam version, however as a student this is way beyond budget. Seeing as I am able to get the non-Steam version free anyway, is there a way I can get the Steam version free under the same premise? Alternatively if not, is there a way I can install it under wine?
Hey, I want to download some Substance 3D assets that can be found in Adobe creative cloud under marketplace/3D section.Creative cloud is unreliable for downloading these large sbsar files, it's slow, often throws up error, and has unecesarry high CPU usage. Can I just download them through browser? I can't find these resources through marketplace in browser Please post answers that are straight to the point, I don't want any corporate answers how creative cloud is super cool and secure. Sbsar it's just a 7zip file in reality
