Converting or changing the details of a graph that was made in word and saved as a pdf

Hello, 

I was making a graph in word and for some reason it would not let me save it as a word document and I ended up saving it as a pdf so that not all was lost. 

*The data to make the graph is also within the word document*

As far as I have tried, I can not edit the graph as a pdf. I am not too familiar with adobe products and my go tos are acrobat and lightroom. Is there a different application of adobe I can try? Or something I can do with the pdf to get it to convert back to a word document that will be editable? Right now, I can convert it but it does not let me edit anything.
