How do I disable automatic updates Mac adobe acrobat reader dc free version

I searched zillions of website and actually logged on to Adobe and chatted with technical support.  No one can tell me how to disable automatic updates for adobe acrobat reader dc free version on a Mac (I am running Big Sur 12/6)

I have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC updates.  But no where can i stop the auto updates from installing.  

There is NO "Updater" listing in the Preference list (which I understand if you have a paid for version there apparently is).

Please help!
