Unable to copy unicode chracters

Community Beginner ,
Mar 04, 2022 Mar 04, 2022

Hi,

This problem is present after latest update, unicode chracters are not coppied when a block of text is copied:

No it's not a font problem.

Yes I tried with several text sources and target files (doc, txt, xls).

No I do not want to save file as other formats, because I deal with tens of files each day it's not convenient to do export for each.

Characters effected are (may not be limited): ç ö  Ç Ö

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open PDF with Adobe Acrobat DC (Build: 21.11.20039.0) - Mac OS 12.2.1

2) Select some text containing these chracters.

3) Paste to target files (doc, txt)

Any help is appreciated.

Until Adobe fixes this issue (it's been several months now!), try using the Copy with Formatting command, instead of just Copy. That helped some people. Also, try pasting the text into a plain-text editor, and from there to Word.

Thank you, it works with "Copy with formatting".

But while dealing with tens of files, it adds a barrier to ones flow.

@Amal. any timeframe when this will / can be fixed?
