Can't sign agreement after recipient has signed it

Hello!

I'm totally new to Adobe Sign, and finally learned how to send out my first document to get signed. I left a blank line in the document for both the recipient and myself, but I didn't know to select "Add Me" beforehand, so I could sign it, too. The recipient signed the document, which I've since received. And, I don't see a way to include my signature to sign it. Is there a way to sign the document after the recipient has signed?

Thanks!

Thank you for your quick response and suggestion, Michael! That's definitely an option.

Earlier today, I actually found a workaround:

  1. I downloaded the agreement the recipient had signed.
  2. I went to the Dashboard.
  3. Went to Additional Functions > Fill & Sign.
  4. Uploaded the previously signed agreement in the Drag & Drop section > Next.
  5. Entered my signature on the next screen, and done!

I was able to save a copy of the agreement with both signatures to my desktop.

You will have to create a new agreement for you both to sign.

You have signed the new pdf, but you don’t have a document that contains a chain of certification of both signatures.
