Adobe Express download stuck at 90%

Community Beginner ,
Mar 17, 2024 Mar 17, 2024

Hello, I'm trying to download images from Express and the download will quickly progress to 90% and then get stuck and will never download. There's no error message.

These are images created from 'text to image'. I thought it might be due to being out of generative credits but my plan should allow 1000?

I have tried multiple files which all have the same problem and have tried clearing cache and restarting browser.

Hey @elena_stanciu6519, Welcome to our Adobe Express Community!

Can you share the project URL via community DM so we can test it? Do you see any blank layers in the project?

Also, to save time, I'd suggest that as a workaround, you download the project as PNG or JPG and then convert it to PDF using the Adobe Express Quick action Convert to PDF tool, so your work doesn't get hampered.

Do let us know!

Best,

Amitej

File processing gets stuck at 90%, downloading multiple pages as a pdf also returns an error. I believe that because it is a new feature it may still need adjustments, I believe that this should have a special priority. Thank you for being ❤️

Hi @eduardo Assano,

Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry you're having trouble.

Just spotted your post and wanted to know if you still require help, as it's been a while since you last reported this, and sadly I haven't been able to replicate this.

Suppose you still need to try clearing your browser cache/cookies. Sometimes, that can fix unexpected issues. If not, using a different browser/incognito mode might work too.

Please let us know if you still need assistance. Rest assured, we'll be happy to troubleshoot further, and looking forward to hearing from you.

^Lyn

@ruthm64, Thank you for your patience.

I just came across your post and wanted to know if you still need help, as it has been a while since this was last reported, and sadly, I haven't been able to replicate it on the web or the prior and the beta version of the mobile app.

Please retest again by logging out of Adobe Express on all devices and then clear your browser cache and cookies, ensuring you have installed the latest version using a different browser or incognito mode.

Additionally, you can check if plug-ins are disabled and add Adobe Express to your browser's safe list.

Please retest this and let us know if you still require assistance. If so, please include your walk-through video to see what's happening. Rest assured, we'll be happy to troubleshoot further, and we look forward to hearing from you.

^Lyn

Every time I've tried to download my project, it gets stuck at 90%. I've left it there for hours, and nothing changes. I've tried in a browser, I've tried on desktop and I've tried clearing my cache and cookies

Hi

@lgroeneveld93

,

Thanks for your patience. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to see if that helps.

If the above step doesn't work, please share the project URL with us via private message and grant us edit access to the project.

Thanks,

Tarun

After some reasearch seems to be a common fault for some time now for people, unbeliavable it hasn't been fixed to be honest. Will give it another go soon but may have to take business elsewhere as i may lose a client now due to this.  Any tips? I've tried new browser etc all the usual suspects with no luck

I cannot download a PDF file that I have put weeks worth of work into. It gets stuck at 90%. I have tried all the solutions presented so far, such as logging out, clearing the cache, etc., but nothing has worked.

I know there was another post about this but it seems to have been forgotten since they believed it was resolved. For me, it has not been resolved.

Currently having the same issue with a video. Had no issues with it earlier this week but suddenly things are not downloading. I've also cleared my cache and it didn't seem to help. Any solutions here?

Hi @Molly24427626g7j6

Some additional things to try that might be help:

- Create a duplicate instance of the file with the issue and attempt to download from the copy

- Try downloading in a few different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
- Try downloading in incognito mode in Chrome

Hope these help,

Hello @sabin_0786. If your PDF download gets stuck at 90% in Adobe Express, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Use a Different Browser: Sometimes, switching to another browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, or Safari) can bypass browser-specific issues.

  2. Check File Size and Complexity: Large files or those with many design elements can sometimes cause issues. Try simplifying the design to see if it downloads successfully.

  3. Test with Another File: Attempt to download a different file to confirm if the problem is specific to this design or a broader issue.

  4. Disable Browser Extensions: Certain browser extensions can interfere with downloads. Temporarily disable them and retry.

Let us know how it goes! Thanks^CA

Suddenly I am unable to download anything that was already existing from my Adobe Express. it gets to 90% then hangs. Left it for a full day and still hung.

- I have tried 3 different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome)

- Deleted cookies and cache

- Disabled all extensions

If I create a new item I can download it but anything that existed before a few days ago will not download. This is a huge problem!

To add, tried the desktop version and it happens there too.

Hey @Flawless_Flutter2236

I tried a few different files on my side. Everything is working.
You may consider turning your computer off and then back on. For some reason, I find doing this helps both Adobe Firefly and Express.
Also
Consider clearing your cache.

Cheers

O.Nate

Hello @Flawless_Flutter2236,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Are you using Windows? If so, the next thing I would try is resetting the Windows firewall back to the default setting.

Thanks,
    droopy

This did not work either.

Just to reiterate - making new projects I can download them but cannot download any from before a couple days ago and this is very problematic.

I was using the YouTube Thumbnail template for pretty much all of them.

Hey @abubaker_8523

I would suggest turning your computer off and on. I have had to do this a few times myself for various reasons when using Express.
or

Clear your cache.

Cheers,
O. Nate
