Idea: Moving assets and designs between apps is very complicated

Community Beginner ,

Moving assests and designs between apps is very complicated and needs a very high level of product knowledge. Is there a way we can make the workflow easier for new users? or have some sort of step approach where you can manage to do simple transfers first. Express to PS is super tiring. - Ashley and Emma

Hi @Ashley & EMMA,

Thank you for sharing your feedback — we completely understand how moving assets and designs between apps can feel complicated, especially for new users 😕.

We’ve shared your suggestion with our product team, as simplifying the workflow and creating a step-by-step transfer process is extremely valuable for improving the overall experience. Your input helps us identify areas where we can make Adobe apps more intuitive and accessible.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

Yeah, thanks for the feedback Ashley and Emma,
I can see how the process would seem daunting to new users.

In addition to the suggestions from Mahmoud this might help.
You can drag-n-drop files from Photoshop or Illustrator onto the "Start from your content" icon when starting new files in Express, and you will then be prompted to either create a linked file (preserve the original file) or convert your file into an image in Express

Also, if you're familiar with using libraries in the other Adobe apps, they are accessible in Express under My Stuff > Libraries. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/apps/create-and-manage-libraries/create-and-organize-librarie...
