Text formatting issues when downloading slides as PDF

Community Beginner ,

Dear @Amitej S,

We are experiencing the same issue when exporting from slides to PDF. The format is changing, and we have several sets of slides which also need to be accessible. Can you please support us?

Hey @Pilot project, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!

It seems you're working on a presentation project, and the exported slides are affected. I'll branch out your response as a fresh community post.

Please share a screenshot of the workflow showing the issues in the exported files. If possible, share the project URL and the exported PDFs for us to investigate. We may also need edit access to the project. You can share the project with us via community DM.

Thanks!

Hi, this usually happens if the fonts or layouts in your slides are not fully supported in PDF export. Try these steps:

Use common fonts like Arial or Calibri before exporting.

In the export settings, select “Embed fonts” if available.

If issues remain, first export to PPTX, then open in another tool (like PowerPoint or Google Slides) and save as PDF again.

This should keep the formatting correct. I hope this will help resolving your issue.

Hey @Pilot project, This issue is identified by our team and will be worked upon, once fixed we'll update you. Until then the recommended solution, is a workaround: you'd need to adjust the text box width to slightly wider. This will not change the layout (in most cases) in the Express document, but it will correct the issue in PDF Export.

For the shared document, we made a copy, in which the text boxes are fixed with the recommended workaround shared above. You can check and try the same for other affected files too. I've shared the link via community DM.

We understand it is not ideal, but our team is working on fixing this and appreciate your patience and support in improving the product.

Thanks!
