Cineware importer/exporter sucks

I have always had issues getting assets from Cinema into AE, with keyframes and animations being completely messed up. Baking out keyframes sometimes helps.

This time, I am having issues getting an animation from AE to C4D via the exporter. It's one 3D layer with dimensions separated. This should be simple to get right, but if it can't, then it's completely useless. The animation does not match up. All sorts of weirdness is going on.

Hi there!

Could you provide more details about what you’re animating? Are there multiple objects involved? It would be really helpful if you could share your After Effects project and Cinema 4D project files so I can test them on my end. If you prefer not to share them publicly, feel free to send them via DM.

Looking forward to helping you out!

Thanks,
Nishu
