Hi all,
I’m getting repeatable memory errors in After Effects on two different PCs with the same project (a light 1080p comp). It happens during RAM preview and when running the 3D Camera Tracker.
Error dialogs (screenshots attached):
“After Effects: 21,820 MB / 132,563 MB of memory could not be allocated … (12803 / Unidentified caller)”
“After Effects: Out of memory (23::40)”
“Not enough memory for 3D Camera Tracker at frame 0 (25::16)”
On one machine we also saw: HuionTabletCore.exe – 0xc0000142 (tablet not connected; driver removed)
Once Windows even refused to open taskmgr.exe: “Not enough system resources to complete the requested service.”
Project context
1080p, standard effects, not GPU-heavy.
Errors feel random: sometimes at preview start, sometimes during camera-track analysis.
What I’ve tried
Purged All Memory & Disk Cache; Disk Cache on local NVMe (hundreds of GB free).
Increased Windows pagefile size (also tried “system managed”) → no change.
Latest NVIDIA Game Ready driver tested on the RTX 3090.
Huion tablet driver fully uninstalled; VC++ 2015–2022 runtimes present.
