Hi there,

i have a problem in AE when going 1 Frame left or right with the arrow keys on Win7.

When i double click on my footage and start to paint lines, i cant go forward or back by the arrow keys.

After painting a line, i have always to click on the timeline window, than the arrow keys will work.

After testing i was able to go forward with "Strg+left/right" without going on the timelinewindow.

But after closing and reopening, even this dont work anymore.

Its the latest Win7 Version of CC2018

Any ideas?

Thanks

Pic up and down are the default keys for frame moving. But you can rebind the function to every key you like.

Ok, thank you.

i was a bit confused, as it was working sometimes and sometimes not.

I was searching for a one button press and not using ctrl or strg ...

so it is working now!

Thanks

There is little-to-no-such thing as it works sometime and it doesn't unless you have other underlying issues in your setup.

Meanwhile, if you found it sufficient to get productive with the pointers provided, please select one that was most useful for your needs. This will be useful to others who have similar Qs; further down the road.

Thank you.

WHen you're in the Layer Panel and you're using one of the brush tools (Paint, Clone RotoBrush), the 1 and 2 keys move the Time Indicator back and forward respectively.
