“Adobe After Effects 2025” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.

Hi,

 

I get this message everytime I try to open After Effects:
“Adobe After Effects 2025” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.

The newest version. Tried everthyng, unstall it and re download it I get this message. Anybody know the fix for this?

There is some sort of security flaw with Adobe's products at the moment, or at least Mac isn't recognising them as legitimate products.

 

The known workaround (I'm reluctant to call it a solution...) is to open System Settings > Privacy and Security, scroll down to where you will most likely see the program and click Open Anyway. You'll still get the error, but can then force it to open.

 

The problem may come back every time the software is updated (ie reinstalled) until this security/privacy flaw
