Adobe After effects STUCK while rendering

I am using adobe after effects 2020 and while rendering the render gets stuck and stays there forever. I tried removing ALL effects and just rendering a basic video WITHOUT any additions and it still froze, any fixes?

Have you tried going into File - Project Settings and use a different rendering option?

I have tried that. Also when I trim the video a bit it renders more but still freezes
