Adobe Cloud Library Gradients in After Effects (drag and drop)

I was given a gradients to import into my Library but I can't really utilize them inside of After Effects. There doesn't seem to be any way to apply them and it says they aren't supported.  This seems irrational when it's just two hex codes on a linear gradient.

When I look into the info of the gradient, I can't even copy and paste the hex codes to apply them myself and instead I have to type every single one by eye. Am I missing something or what the gradient not setup correctly?
