AE 2020 not showing anything in Comp Viewer on macOS

I have a project that works fine in AE 2019, but in 2020, I don't see anything in the Comp Viewer pane.

The Comps are output to my Blackmagic/HDMI port correctly, but on my computer monitor no Comp is visible.

Adding an extra Comp Viewer hangs AE completely.

I've seen that this problem occurred in the past with other version. Does anyone have a solution?

I'm on a Mac / AE 17.0.2

What I tried:

-reset Workspace

-show all panels

-deleted Preferences

Sorry for your issue. I understand that you are having preview issue in After Effects.

Are you having this issue with all the projects? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)? You can try resetting the preferences of After Effects and see if it helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-after-effects/td-...
