Hola!
Estoy con la versión 24.3 de After Effects y Windows 10 Home.
Estoy teniendo problemas importando archivos .ai a After Effects como composiciones:
Espero alguien me pueda ayudar ya que trabajo como motion graphic designer y necesito que AE funcione.

I am having this problem too. Did you find a solution? When I click on 3D, the same problem occurs to me.

I found the silly solution. You have to find After Effects and Run as Admin.
It worked for me! Hope it helps

Maybe something will help, but I will describe my process of solving the problem.
Before that, I had Windows 10 for a long time and I couldn’t launch 3D in AE on it, running as Admin didn’t help either, I updated the video card driver, updated AE versions, but all without success.
Recently I finally decided to upgrade to Windows 11. And when I downloaded drivers for my laptop from the official website, I noticed that they no longer support Windows 10, they just don't make them anymore.
When I tried to launch AE in 3D, an error popped up again, but this time launching as Admin helped.
I think in my case there was a problem with outdated drivers, so on Windows 11, perhaps everything was pulled up fresh and everything worked. Good luck to you too!

Thanks for this! But it it still isn't fixed. I have windows 11, updated driver, even removing and installing AE again didn't work. I feel like I've tried everything and Adobe should look into this problem.
It's funny because I found recently that Element 3D works fine with Advanced 3D settings. It only crashes and sends the message mentioned above when the comp is in Advanced 3D, and I click on the 3D icon to make a layer into 3d.

Hi There,
I've been experiencing an issue since updating After Effects last week. Whenever I open a project, within about 10 seconds, a window pops up with the message:
"Before quitting, you have one chance to save the project (don't use the same name as the original)."
After saving the project under a new name, After Effects immediately crashes.
This now happens consistently with any project I try to open. I’ve attempted to roll back to older versions of After Effects, but the issue persists.
After reading through this thread, I upgraded my operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and ensured all drivers are up to date, but the problem still remains.
Additionally, the After Effects project is a dynamically linked file from Premiere Pro, and because of this crash, my Premiere project cannot render properly either.
I would appreciate any guidance or solutions to help resolve this issue.
Thank you.
