I have the new MacBook Pro M4, I had a Macbook Pro 2021 (intel) where I downloaded and installed CC. Now, I am trying to download AE and nothing happens, (when I transitioned to this new laptop all the apps including AI tranferred and downloaded with no problems using the Migration Assistant). I checked the compability specs and its says Mac Sonoma and others and I have Mac Sequioa, which doesnt seem to be listed), could that be the issue of why I can't update or download new/existing Adobe Apps?
Note: I usually use CC and all Adobe Apps on desktop PC at work, I want to use on Macbook Pro for convience and pratice at home, and I am the owner of the account as well.
Hi,
Maybe it has something to do with the Migration Assistant. Have you tried reinstalling Creative Cloud apps? Let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin
I agree with Kevin. Intel-based Macs and M4-based Macs have different architectures. I'd recommend removing all the Adobe apps and installing them again, including the Creative Cloud desktop app. You can use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove the Adobe apps. However, I am not 100% sure if that'll work in your case. If the cleaner tool doesn't work, you'll need to remove the apps manually. Here's the link: https://adobe.ly/4ftNXq7
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,

Yes, photoshop is requiring me to reinstall to make an update and I click over and over again but nothing happens, the screen does not change, the nothing installs, almost like screen frozen but I can move around in the Creative Cloud to get to different tabs really.

Thank you, that finally worked... was a bit hard to follow what I needed to do but ultimately everything works fine and now able to download AE! Thanks...
