After effect freeze, then reset preferences and can't open file

Hi,

I was working on a scene then after effect froze, so I had to reboot my computer. Then when I oppened After effect the preferences were reset and the scene seems corupted. "After Effects warning: Unable to import file "[path]`as project (bad format or not readable)

someone knows how to restore everything like before?

Hello,

If you turn on the Auto-Save in After Effects Preferences, you may be able to restore the project file. The Auto-Save is usually located at C:\Users\{user name}\Adobe\ .

hi,

I think the "save next to project" was checked, unfortunately there is no auto-save file neither in the project folder neither in User/Adobe.
