Hello,
I am a newbie at After Effects. I bought a project file from Videohive link below.
https://videohive.net/item/crow-logo/8375229?s_rank=18
I am using Windows 10 64 bit with plenty of memory 16 gb of ram.
Adobe After Effects version 2017 CC ( Monthly Subscription ) with Adobe Cloud App
My issue is after replacing the text with my own logo ( using a simple PNG Img file )
I add to render que, I change format to Quicktime H.264
I leave the audio properties at the default.
I am using the latest version of Quicktime.
About halfway through the render I get an Adobe After Effects stopped working error message???
Attached is a screen shot and my log file report.

Hello,
The log points out mkl_def.dll . The file might be corrupted. If you find the same file in your system folder (C:\Windows\System32), you backup the original file and replace it with one in your system folder.
I have seen that some users encounter the trouble of PNG format with After Effects in this forum. Instead of using PNG, you try JPG format.

Thanks for replying. I looked for that file in Windows System 32 folder and no dice. It is not there.
I will try saving my image file as another format instead of PNG. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling AE.
The crash also happens when I try to ram preview it as well.
I pay for a monthly subscription. I had a friend test the video hive project for me that I had purchased. He tested it both with CS6 and CC2017 versions. It worked on his computer just fine. I know it isn't the project file itself. I am a frustrated customer.

I tried your solution and did not get anywhere. AE still crashes halfway through the render. I tried a regular PSD file for the image and I also tried just inserting a regular font into the comp without an image. I do not think it is an image issue. I do have an MP3 file. Is it because of any audio settings? I have it all set on default. I am trying the output as quicktime / H2.64 format. I have the latest quicktime.
I am at a complete loss here. I am getting more than frustrated here.

Ever solve this Space76Ghost? Did you go with a previous version of After Effects? Let us know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello,
I am not sure about the specific cause. What I would recommend to do next is you install older version of AE (CC 2015) or choose other formats (not H264) or render the image without Quicktime.
