After Effects 2018 crash fest

Using after Effects for many years, Never had too many issues, but this latest version is crashing every time I close a project.
Even with simple HD projects, when I close it or go to "file > new" AE crashes.
somtimes I get this error about to little RAM available, but 32 GB should be enough for simple HD projects ;-(

My system:
AMD Threadripper
32 GB Ram
SSD
Windows 10 Pro
