I know this is duplicate but, the problem is not solved and it's not totally the same problem.
The problem goes like that:-
When I import a .MOV file into After Effects it shows me this error first:-
Nothing in the internet solves this issue so far. But again after I press OK it gives this (Drum Roll):-
When I click OK nothing happens and the file doesn't get imported;
I'm using the latest version of After Effects
which is 17.0.5 (Build 16) I just updated it yesterday
What I have tried so far:-
Any suggestions so far?
Thanks in advance

So, to clarify, this happens with absolutely any Quicktime file you throw at AE? Or just the one file?
Does the file play in any other application or media player?
You say you "Tried tons of different codecs and changed/re-rendered them with Adobe Media Encoder." So the file is visible in Media Encoder? If you convert to another format altogether, like MXF or even mp4, does it them work?

I just found out that After Effects stopped supporting H.264 and H.265 format videos.
Now answering your questions:-
