After Effects crashes on file import

Whenever I try to import vector file into After Effects via Import>File>Vector File(footage) it crashes and shows me error. Apart of this, it runs smoothly even when I import png. it seems good. I have already checked the allocated RAM to Adobe and it's 4 out of 6 gb. I have browsed for many solutions on google and nothing seems to work. I have even reinstalled the software but all same. Kindly, help me out. I don't know what to do.

Without any info on what kind of files you are trying to import, how they were created, where they are stored etc. nobody can tell you much.
