After Effects crashing about 2 minutes after making edit using roto brush
Repro Steps:
1. Open project in Adobe Premiere Pro
2. Right click subject in project timeline and select "Replace with AfterEffects composition"
3. Click Roto tool > double click file name in bottom-left of AE > Edit using Roto Tool > Move Scrubber to the end of the clip > Save
4. Navigate back to Adobe and continue to work on project for a few minutes
5a. Observe that Premiere Pro begins to slow down
5b. Navigate back to AE and observe the pop-up alerts saying the program has stopped working. Clicking "Okay" only dismisses the pop-up message until the 2nd pop-up message is dismissed, then the first pop-up message will appear again, ad infinitum, until the program is hard-closed using Task Manager
Platform: PC, Windows 11 Home
Hardware:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
GPU - RTX 4090
RAM - 64gb DDR5
In Step 3, are you clicking the Freeze option in the RB panel? If not, any action you are taking in Premiere could be causing re-propagation of the RB masks taking additional memory and time.
What are the messages in pop ups in AE in step 5b?
