After Effects crashing on launch

I just installed AE 18.4 and it crashes every time I try to open it. 

I get an error message

Last log message was: <5668918> <MEE_Plugins> <5> /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

I found a previous thread with a similar issue suggesting that all the files should be removed from Media Core folder, it didn't help.

I'm on iMac 2015, BigSur 11.4

AE worked fine two weeks ago...

I'll greatly appreciate any help with this issue!
