After effects crashing when importing a project

New Here ,
Jun 03, 2023 Jun 03, 2023

Whenever I try to open a specific project after effects says" Opening project (Not responding)" then it just crashes. It doesn't crash if I open any other project. I really need this project to work because its for one of my clients

Info:

After effect 2022

Windows 11

What I've done so far:

-Reinstall Ae

-Renamed the project

-update all my plugins

Try creating a new project, then import the old project into it, rather than opening the old project directly.

Turn the Caps lock key on to prevent preview rendering when you open.  If it does open, create a new composition before releasing the caps lock key, so that After Effects won't try and render whatever it was previously trying to, enabling you to diagnose the issue.

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't see your reply. The project is still not opening even after the steps you said

Thanks for your message. Are you still having the issue? Let us know.

I am moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for now.

Thanks,

Nishu
