After effects get stuck after a while

Hi Adobe, 

I'm using After effects version 22.5 on my mac and I noticed that it keeps getting stuck.
I don't get the chance to save my project and have to force quit the program. what results in keep make changes to my work over and over again. It's very annoying and frustrating. 

I'm not making something that special that my mac can't handle it so it has to be After effects. 

It occurs after the after effects update. 

Please fix it!

Sorry for the issue.

Could you share more details? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? What exactly happens? Is anything specific that triggers the problem? Does it happen in all the projects? Please test it on a new project.

Sorry for my late response. 

I added some screenshots who may help indicate the problem. 

It doesn’t happen on specific action or something. It’s completly random. 

After effects doesn’t crash by it self, I keep on seeing the loading apple icon and then I have to force close it.

I have the latest version of After Effects and my mac is up to date aswell. I noticed the problem appeared after updating After Effects but I dont have the problem on my macbook pro 16 inch i9 (2019) 
It can't be a storage problem because there is almost a TB available. 

@ToolfarmJP thanks for that answer but I checked and didn't have AE juice as far as I know

I downloaded a older version of After Effects and it seems like it is oke now

If you install some third-party plug-ins (AE Juice), you remove them.
