After Effects keeps crashing when Premiere is running at the same time

Hi,

After Effects (25.1) keeps crashing when I run Premier Pro at the same time. I have 32GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 7, I upgraded to a 4TB SSD, I cleared the cache, I deleted and reinstalled everything, and I still can't have the two apps running at the same time because they crash my PC. I didn't have that issue when I worked with the 24 version and it's getting real time consuming to work on any project that requires anything from After Effects, something that can be done quickly ends up being exhausting.

Would you try to launch AfterFX.exe by Run as administrator (right-click)? The location is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2025\Support Files.

Are there any error messages? Do you see the blue screen when the computer crashes? Which GPU are you using? Please ensure to update its driver to the latest.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Nishu

This are the error messages I get. I have a Nvidia GForce GTX 1660 super and my drivers are up to date.

Thank you!

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Looks like you're hitting a bug. The product team is working on fixing this issue. As of now, using version 24.x is only workaround. Sorry for the inconvenience. Monitor this thread for updates: https://adobe.ly/3QtSE7K

Thanks for your patience. Let us know if there are any other questions.

Thanks,
Nishu
