after effects render glitch

i dont know if this is a glitch or not but when i edit on after effects, it looks fine but once i render there would be random flashes of pictures from the clip, if that makes sense. and its really frustrating because even if i try to do another project, the same thing happens. its been really discouraging me. ive already tried emptying my cache and it didnt work. i use after effects cc 2018. ive uploaded an example of how it looks.

Reboot your system and delete the cachze manually from the folder without AE open. Also check your hardware acceleration settings, graphics driver and so on.
