After effects

hey guys

Can somebody tell me how this Person edited his keyboard at the bottom in After Effects. I know how to do the particles but my keyboard looks so normal with normal lighting. But his is at the bottom dark and becomes more brighter the upper it goes. 

Would be thankful for any answer...

Looks like actual lights on top of the keys.

You can try to add a adjustment layer with color correction to light up the keys and add a mask at the bottom with a very soft horizontal mask edge.

Hey 🙂

I just tried as u said and it wirken perfectly. But how can i get those hand like in that shadow. His ans my hand colour are brown and if i try sth like Extract or decrease brightness the keyboard

suffers-getting also more darked. Do u know how i can achieve sth like his hands. That is my current footage now with only the effect u said i should do. It would darken just like the picture i went before

I'd get some high density LED strip light and mount it along the top of the keyboard so it lights the keys, and gives the hands that shadowy look.

But isnt there any was to edit that somehow... i tried extract, colorbalance, Toner, but couldnt get those shadow-like hands. Is this only possible when i use led stripes?
