AFTERFX.EXE

One day when I opened the program it tells me in a window that "AfterFX.exe has encountered a problem"; and, pressing a button, closed the program.

I know it has to do with the afterFX.exe file, but I have no idea what I have to do with it to get my program back.

I tried to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling my After Effects. The AfterFX.exe window still appears.

I would like to find a solution for this that does not require a Command Prompt.

None of this is of any use if you don't provide system info and the actual crash info as linked on the panel.

When you get the crash, please fill in the crash dialog that appears, especially the part about your email address and then submit it. We can then match up your crash to your email address and hopefully can provide you with some direction.
