An issue with After Effects 2024 text tool

Greatings to you all.

Recently I updated my After Effects from 2023 to 2024, but since that my text tool (on all projects, even new ones) doesn't work / is glitched. For instance, when I type in, a border flickers at the render, but no text is being shown and isn't registred. Plus, when I start to spam some letters, it shows only couple of them and others aren't registred either. I will add a screen recording to show the issue:

The system I am running is the 2022 Mac Mini (M2, 8/256). Could you all help me on how to fix it?
